Eric and Bo were great! They were running a little late due to traffic but called ahead of time to give me a heads up, which I really appreciated. They were super friendly and helpful - even taking time to answer some of the questions I had while they were performing service. My furnace has paneling around one side that I forgot to take off - Eric and Bo happily removed the paneling so they could get to the connection point and then put it back on before they left. I would definitely hire Power Vac again! All in, I had 12 vents cleaned (1 intake, 11 output) and the whole process took about 2 hours.

The company seemed very efficient and was pleasant to work with. Their reps were willing to show and explain the process as they went about their work and there was no mess. I could not say if in fact the duct cleaning has improved our indoor air quality, but when our daughter-in-law who suffers from allergies next comes to visit, we trust she will notice the difference as I was shown a fair amount of dust that was removed from the air ducts and the dryer vent.

Everything went very well. The crew that came over - Matt and Eric - were very personable and explained it all to me as I have never had the ducts cleaned. Over the last two to three years it seemed like there was an awful lot of dust in my house. It took me awhile for my brain to connect that with the furnace. Powervac had a truck that was self contained and didn't even have to use my electricity. Their system had excellent suction. I am so happy now to be breathing clean air again.

My technician was very conscientious and professional, and easy to deal with. He spent almost the entire day cleaning the ducts and flue. I would certainly hire PowerVac in the future.

Our technician showed up on time, explained the services he would provide. and completely answered any and all questions that I had regarding the procedure and any questions regarding future maintenance. The technician (John) spent 5 hours thoroughly cleaning the inside of the furnace, all the heating ducts (9) and cold air returns (2), as well as re-connecting a duct to a bathroom in our crawlspace that had worked itself loose. John then proceeded to clean the inside of the pellet stove, the exhaust liner leading from the stove to a roof vent, and the inside of the chimney itself. He could not have been more thorough and neat, and left the house immaculate after finishing the cleaning procedures. I believe that Power Vac was professional in every way, and provided a great service at a great value. I would recommend their service very highly to friends and family and to anyone who needs either duct or chimney cleaning. I was also given the $50 Angie's list member discount. Excellent job! When I called for a quote I told them we had 19 ducts when we had only 16 so the actual amount was less than what I was quoted over the phone. The house was built in 1960 and had never had the ducts cleaned. They did a great job, were here on time, were professional and really went above and beyond what I expected. I would highly recommend this Company.

The vents have never been so clean. The provider also noted we purchased a 15-vent package when we should have purchased a 10-vent package. They could have not pointed that out and taken our money, instead they wrote us a check on the difference. Would highly recommend them for their HONESTY! Thank you

All went as expected; no issues

Eric and Jason (I think that was his name) showed up on time. They were very professional, very friendly and did a great job. I am very pleased with the service and would definitely use them again. They said it would take three hours and they actually finished in less time which was nice. Only complaint I have is that where they accessed the duct system with the vacuum they left a little mess of debris on the floor when they left. Not a big deal, I was able to quickly clean it, I was just a little surprised they didn't clean it up because they were so great otherwise.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and I was actually able to get an appointment for the very next day. However, my appointment was for 12:00pm and I took a half day of vacation time to be home for it. The service tech called me at 12:00 to tell me he would be 1.5 to 2 hours late. He finally called me back at 4 pm and said he would be at my house in 30 mins. He arrived at 5:30pm. Once the tech began, the quality of his work was great. He spent about 3.5 hours cleaning out the air ducts and everything is running great. I was just extremely disappointed that I wasted a half day of vacation time when I I didn't need to.

Matthew did a great job cleaning my furnace and six air ducts. He showed up on time, looked at where the air ducts and furnace were and got right to work. He was especially careful and considerate in regard to my dog so she would be comfortable with the sound of the compressor. He said he would tell me just before he started it so I could reassure my dog and then just did it for a moment at first to see how she would react. He also told me he closed the gate so my dog could safely go out at any time. He petted her and was very kind. I really appreciated him being so caring to my dog. He also gave me some very good suggestions on how to keep the furnace and ducts clean, and what type of filter would be best for the furnace. Power Vac was willing to work around my schedule and perform the duct cleaning on a Saturday which was great as I did not need to take time off of work. During setup John noticed one of the ducts was not attached in the crawlspace and offered to repair for $40. Sounded like a fair prices, but I am a DIY type where possible and declined. John loaned me his tools and supplies to do the repair!! John also went above and beyond by thoroughly cleaning the oil/wood furnace, which was not expected. In the vent my vents are clean, on a schedule that worked for me at a fair price.

Matt & Shane performed the service. They came on time, were very professional & knowledgeable. Explained everything they were doing, answered all my questions, were able to troubleshoot quickly on their feet when road blocks came up, cleaned up.

Fifteen years ago, before we moved into our current house we had our air-ducts cleaned. We did that with First Call Heating and Cooling. Price was actually more expensive than PowerVac is today! So, first off the price is very good even if ~$400 seems steep. Also PowerVac is a member of the NADCA which is something to consider when looking for a Duct Cleaner. We recently bought a newer house (~13 years old) and noticed the ducts looked like they had never been cleaned. So, check one on our list--have ducts cleaned. I exchanged e-mail with Mary and PowerVac had availability to get in quick before we occupied the home. I setup an appointment for roughly 8-8:30am. John, the technician, was a little late--could have been a bad traffic day--but nothing that was too disruptive. John did call twice to inform me he was on his way and would be a little late. He counted ducts, gave price and then I gave him a check and let him go while I went to work--asking for him to lock up when he finished. I returned after work and house was locked and secure and receipt was left. I checked a few ducts I had noticed debris in and everything was cleaned very well. We had one duct with what looked like rust in it and it was all gone! I was AMAZED at the difference. If we had pets (cats/dogs) I would definitely get this service done more often. At the minimum I highly recommend getting it done if you are moving to a new home. I can definitely recommend PowerVac.

Since I'd never had it done before and the house is 15 years old, I expected the evidence of that to be bad. And it was, after five dogs and three cats (not all at the same time!). Power Vac performed this service beautifully; it takes several hours and seems very thorough. There's a little less dust blowing around in the house now.

Eric did an exceptional job cleaning our ducts on a home approximately 2 years old. There was a lot of construction dust/debris in the ducts, plus the painters did not cover them when they painted. Eric used a large brush to scrape off the paint on the inside of all the vents as well as in the furnace itself. He explained what he was doing and why throughout the job, which I really appreciated. His customer service and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I will be recommending Power Vac--and specifically Eric--to my neighbors. He is a true professional and is very good at what he does.

They were running late but called to let me know. They were the only place, after calling nine, that could come the next day. They did a super job coming in and getting the job done. The only complaint I have is that in two of the rooms there was lint blown all over, stuck to my sofa, bed in another room, that then I had to clean up. It made me question whether contaminated air was released inside my house from the ducts that we had cleaned. The whole point of having them cleaned was to have the contaminates sucked and and removed not spread throughout the house. I'm not sure how or why that happened. Other than that, they worked fast and were gone much quicker than we were quoted.
