They got the moss off of my roof about a year ago. Recently they cleaned my gutters. They had fair prices.

They come right out. I don't feel like I'm taken advantage of, they don't try and sell me a product I don't need. They're honest. Call and remind me. They come out and do the work and do a great job.

After they completed the work, I asked that they provide an invoice for my records. After not receiving one, I tried calling on several occassions. They have yet to return any of my calls or provide the invoice. At this point, I woun't recommend using this provider. Their communication and customer service is lousy.

Showed up in a car with no ladder. Used our ladder, our garbage can, and did not ask to use this either. Got on roof did some stuff. When they left, anything that came off the roof was put in our garbage can. It was so heavy that the garbage man could not lift it. The garbage man charged more. The service provider charged us for trimming a tree that I do not believe that he had to do. I just recently got another bill from them. Very unprofessional. There were also pieces of roofing that kept coming off and blew all over the yard.

All of above was completed satisfactorily. The staff was prompt, communicative, friendly and knowledgable. The price was higher than expected, but the roof needed more cleaning than expected, so it was fair. We have used this company before and have always been pleased with their work and reliability. They are always happy to answer any questions and offer advice if requested.

Submitted a bid request via web form 10/8, got no response. Left a phone message (YUK!) 10/12, got a call back the same day. Was promised an e-mail with a survey date. Got an email 10/13 saying that they did not do gutters this time of year. Why didn't the person on the phone know this, and why are they advertising as a gutter contractor?

On 11/12 we waited at the house. The contractor never showed up. We were invoiced for work never done. - Major Fail-

Overall, I stand by my C grade for Home Doctor. They showed up on time, got the work done and were tidy. My one complaint is pricing and communication. I decided not to install a third gutter that had been included in the original estimate resulting in a reduction of the work that was bid on prior to the date of service. I discussed the change and plan with the worker that showed up that day. He peformed the work satisfactorily. His boss showed up an hour or so into the work and upon completion of the work, spent approximately 30 minutes or more calculating the new bill which ended up being more than the original estimate. I was surprised by a higher price for what ended up being less work and i felt a little swindled. Also, the worker that showed up that morning had commented on trimming a neighbor's tree that was close to our roof. I thanked him for pointing out the risk and said I would trim it myself. When I came out to review the work with the supervisor, i discovered the tree had been trimmed and I was being charged $40 for it. Not what I had agreed to. The work is good but I felt a little dirty after they left. I didn't have a copy of the original estimate and didn't feel like getting into it with the supervisor. I paid but won't use them again. Get a copy of the estimate and have them review costs with you prior to performing the work so you can be informed of pricing changes. On the plus side, when I told the boss I didn't authorize them to trim the tree, he reduced the trimming price to $20. Very generous of him.

Inspection was done on time. Report was made available very quickly online with a phone follow up. I had an opportunity to speak with the inspector concerning any issues that I saw in the inspection. The inspection report was thorough marking issues of import that needed either a follow up look, a maybe repair and a must do repair. There were numerous photos illustrating items of concern. The company regularly sends emails of hints of items to maintain the home. I purchased this home with satisfactory knowledge of its condition. I completed the repairs they said were "must do" items. If I purchase another home in an area that they serve I will certainly use them again.

It went well. Called with estimate, which I thought was fair. Did not realize that price quoted did not include clearing any clogged downspouts. Because he (Miguel) was already there and had his equipment with him, and because his assessment of what would be required was accurate and complete, I gave him the go ahead to do the job. He completed the work in a timely fashion and called back with the details of what he had found and what he had done to correct any problems he encountered.

I've been using The Home Doctor for some years now. There aren't many gutter repair services around, and I appreciate that Mark keeps the gutters maintained as well as doing a great job of cleaning them. He's also cleaned and treated our roof for moss in the past, without using damaging pressure washing or toxic chemicals. His office calls every year to remind me of the annual service. He's willing to come in the worst weather (after all the leaves have fallen and are in the gutters!). I also receive a call on the day of service, confirming when the crew is coming. All in all, I'm very pleased and am happy to recommend The Home Doctor.

Friendly and efficient service.

I received a voicemail on Sunday night from the Home Doctor saying they would be performing the service on Monday during the same timeframe instead. I called back to confirm by leaving a message per their request. By 4:20pm on Monday no one had arrived so I reached out to the worker scheduled to do the work who informed me that he had gotten lost and would only be able to check out the job today because of the time. Since I needed the work done quickly, I called the office and reached the manager, Mark who I explained my situation to. All he could talk about was how busy the company was and that all he could do was squeeze me in where ever he could. I explained to him that I am part of a disaster medical team that would be sent at any time to help with the Sandy efforts on the east coast and made it very clear that it had to be done as soon as possible. He couldn’t promise when it could get it done and suggested that I look for someone else to do the work! So I am, and wanted to share this experience with others so they wouldn’t have to go through the same trouble.

Called Mark the day after the big rain/wind storm. He was the only person who I actually talked to that day that seemed to care and wanted to help. I spoke with three other gutter repair places and I got the cold shoulder from two and a call 8 hours later from another one. Mark seemed concerned about my plight with a gutter that was putting water into the house. He tried to squeeze me in that day but I gave him a break and said I had done some temporary repairs and a same day rush job wasn't needed. We spoke and he said I would be on the schedule the next day. On Wednesday, i received a call from his technician giving me a 30 min heads up. Much appreciated. I got home and showed him the trouble. He suggested two new down spouts and repairing the damaged section. House is 37 years old had original gutters that are two small for the gutters. We talked about the plan of action, wrote out a bid and I said go for it! Came home later in the day and it all looked great. My only downside which is not a big deal would be the ability to take credit cards. But this does not detract from using them. Thanks Mark, great job!

I had two gutter sections that were not working properly. The Home Doctor replaced those sections and installed downspouts. They went above and beyond. They even sprayed moss killer on the roof after brushing all the moss off and did not charge me for the spray. The two replaced sections and new downspouts work perfectly. We had a place where the old gutters would overflow on to a lower roof, then shoot off the roof onto the deck during downpours. This doesn't happen and more. The new system works perfectly. I will certainly have them come back regularly to maintain my gutters.

Initial appointment was a window on Thursday while I was out and it wasn't raining. Gutters were indeed cleaned, but rain over the weekend revealed at least one clogged downspout. I notified the office on Monday morning and they had someone out in a couple hours to declog the spout. The phone conversation with the office went well, and given the thoroughness of the final result I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on a little clerical error for the original appointment (downspout declogging turns out to be a separately-billed item from simply cleaning the gutters; it was not part of the original work order for whatever reason). I would definitely use them again.

Work was well done. Price was out of this world.

JOB WAS COMPLETED WHEN PROMISED. NO MESSES, AND MIGUEL MADE THE JOB FUN. HE IS WORTH THE REASON TO HIRE THIS COMPANY. SOME TIMES WHEN YOU HIRE WORK DONE ,THE WORKERS ARE NOT SATISFACTORY. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE IN MY EXPERIANCE. HE WAS POLITE, HE EXPLAINED EVERY STEP.

I made an appointment over the phone to have someone from The Home Doctor come to my house and give me an estimate on some gutter replacement work. The appointment was set for 9 am and the person did not show up, nor did anyone call to notify me of a change.

I emailed to get a quote on Wednesday morning. Someone called me back within a few hours to give me a quote over the phone. I had sent in pictures of the missing downspout on the garage that needed to be replaced along with pictures of the patio that I wanted pressure washed. I was given a quote of about $350 (ended up costing over $100 less!). I had gotten a quote from another company that was almost that high just for the downspout and not the pressure washing. They had an opening for Friday so I took it. Miguel gave a call 30 minutes before arriving. He spent almost an hour and a half washing the patio. He did an amazing job cleaning up all the extra moss and dirt that accumulated after the pressure wash and the patio looks better than I imagined it would. Then he installed the downspout. He said I didn't have to stay the whole time if I needed to leave. I am very happy with the services that were performed and the responsiveness of the company.

I cant say enough about what a fabulous job they did!! again Miquel is worth his weight in gold -- I dont think there isnt anything he cant do!! I am still admiring the quality of this work -- they made our shabby walks look NEW AGAIN!! I loved it -- I keep thinking of new projects for them to do -- they are so excellent!!

I called them and set an appointment for July 2. At about 3 pm on the day they were to arrive, they called and said they were too busy to get to me and I would need to reschedule. This is after I stayed home and waited for them. OK so we rescheduled for July 13. At 4:50pm on July 13, they called to say they would be here in about 20 minutes - again after I had stayed home waiting. Aparently they are very busy and my job was not anywhere near the top of their priority list. I told them to cancel the job - I would find another contractor. They did call to apologize.

Miguel arrived on time 10:15 am and finished @ 4pm. He gave me an estimate first and I was pleasantly surprised at the amount. The house is 2 story with steep roof line. The weather was perfect for him to begin the procedures. I went outside at least once per hour to observe and was able to ask questions about what he was doing. He explained in a manner that I could understand. I was extremely happy with my clean roofs due to his hard work. Next year I will have Miguel again to do the yearly roof/gutter maintenance.
