The salesman Scott, was very friendly. Like the other bidders that came out, he was spot on regarding the bad job that was done on my house. He carefully explained all facets of the application and went over the types of material to be used. Of the three bidders, he was the only one that suggested adding extra stuff to have the house stand out. Not in a pushy way, but suggested things and showed pictures. I went with two of his suggestions. One was a belly band that went at the gables, to separate in two, the huge walls on either side of the house. The other item was the putting wood strips above the ceiling of my porch. Both of the items made the house look much better. As for the job I was happy with the work and the price. The crew moved rather quickly, it was November so the rain slowed them down a bit. Scott was very helpful in locating the drop box. I knew it was a pain for my neighbors so he moved it and got a smaller one. I had a concern about painting in cold wet weather and Scott was very confident that it would not be a problem. He said give him and dry day and 40 degrees and he can paint anything. The crew did a good job. We'll see as time goes on weather the paint holds. The only negative thing was that the yard was fairly torn up by the job. I don't think with the rain that it could be avoided. The crew was friendly and helpful when I suggested things. Don't hesitate to ask for things, they don't mind. Scott was very responsive to my emails and calls. I would not hesitate to work with them again.

I contacted them again recently do paint the exterior of the house but never heard back from email or from my phone message. That was disappointing. I subsequently learned through the grapevine that they are out of the exterior painting business.

They took off the old siding, and replaced it with Hardieplank siding, after a house "wrap". When they removed the old siding they found an investation of carpenter ants in one area, and worked with the pest control person to make sure the ants were killed before covering over with siding. After the siding was placed, they painted it and the trim, with the double front door last. They also replaced the outside light fixtures front and back, and a new door bell. Mike Short was the project manager and he kept in close contact with me and with his team on site. That team were very talented, professional, and pleasant. They cleaned up the area before they left. I am delighted by the new siding and new color, and each time I return to the house I smile. It looks like a new house!

The first time we used them they installed windows and we really liked the people and the work so when we needed siding we called on them and they installed our siding. They were very friendly very considerate and they cleaned up the area every night before they left. Our neighbors were really impressed. They did a great job in a timely manner. The price was very fair. We had them come out a couple of months ago as one of the gutters they had reattached had come loose. They came out within a couple of days and fixed it with no hassle. We would definitely use them again if we had need of their type of services. Great company18

First I need to thank Jason, who did the work on the windows and doors...so amazing that my neighbors came over and wanted his information to do theirs. It was night and day, with the whole appearance. And he was so meticulous about the details and the cleanup. I wish I had more windows for him to replace! The garden window is so beautiful and better than it looked in it's picture. The new window he created just opened up the entire area inside with light. And perfectly framed, every one of them. And the door...I wasn't able to afford the first one I picked out, but the one they brought is so pretty, I don't feel disappointed at all. The gentleman, Alberto, that did my siding...wow. So considerate and he and his crew worked so hard. And if they saw anything questionable, they always asked me my preference...did I like the trim color, etc. I went bold...it's a soft gray with an indigo blue trim. And it looks wonderful. The blue tones in the gray just balance out the indigo blue color very well. They gave me so many choices to choose from and I'm so happy with my decision. Alberto fixed issues he saw along the way...notified me about any that would need attention in the new year, to be properly corrected (ie. when we opened up the attic, they did a poor job of stabilizing the roof, which gets fixed next). He went over the areas and identified any that needed additional caulking...just so detail oriented. I felt so comfortable with everything that was done. Scott is the project manager and he checked in regularly, answered questions, and made sure I was happy at each turn. Even made sure I was never inconvenienced and when we ran into an issue at one point, he just handled it without having to nickle and dime me for it. Even though there were no doubt multiple projects being worked at the same time, he made sure I never felt my project took 2nd place. And they sent me such a great implementation team, that I definitely didn't get the 2nd string team. I have to redo my roof next year...I won't trust anyone else after this...

We were very satisfied with the services provided by Lifetime Remodeling. Scott made the negotiations and project scheduling painless and Alberto and his crew did very high quality work. We would definitely use Lifetime Remodeling Systems for work on our house again.

Lifetime Remodeling Systems did a complete re-siding and re-roofing job on my two story house eight years ago. We are very happy with the result, especially since the windows no longer leaked during our famous rainstorms and shingles no longer blew off the roof. In a recent windstorm, about 20 feet of metalwork covering the fascia under one peaked roof edge blew off. I called Lifetime Remodeling Systems and asked for help, for the first time in eight years. Gino, now the company president, sent Scott over to check out the situation. Scott called Jason, discussed the job and scheduled him for the repair work. It turns out Jason was the original installer from eight years ago -- he has been at Lifetime Remodeling the entire time. Jason did a terrific job, installed new metalwork, inspected and added more fasteners to the three roof edges from which the metalwork had not blown off, carefully applied sealant over each fastener and more sealant in places where you would never think to look. It looks great. I called on Monday. The work was finished Wednesday. Scott called on Thursday to make sure everything was OK. Now here is the thing: Lifetime Remodeling Systems did not charge me for the work. I expected to pay for the work. They did what I asked right away. They did MORE than I asked for -- including stuff I did not know enough to ask for. I said I should pay. Scott said nope, they stand behind their work. I guess when they say "Lifetime" they really mean it?

The whole experience was very pleasant. Isabel and his crew were very easy to work with. He kept me informed of the work each step of the way, I had read most of the reviews on Angie's list, which influenced my decision to hire this company. They cleaned up every day, and worked very hard. They even asked if they could work on a Saturday and Sunday so they could take advantage of the good weather. Nailed it on that one, because it rained on Monday. They worked quickly and efficiently, and I am very pleased with the final product.

We were very happy with the work done by Lifetime Remodelling Systems. Scott provided the initial consultation and estimates. He is very knowledgeable and provided a lot of great information and recommendations. Jose and his crew were great to work with and they did a great job. The quality of their work was excellent. They paid great attention to detail especially with the moisture barrier, window wrapping and flashing to keep moisture out. We had some added complexity due to a two tier deck with posts and beams. I was very happy with how they worked on this real-time to make sure that everything would be weather tight. Their pricing was competitive and they were very fair when dealing with cost overages due to unforeseen issues. For example; after the old siding was removed, we discovered one deck beam had rotted out. Their cost for replacing this beam was very reasonable. We would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again if needed in the future.

Was a great experience working with LRS. From Scott coming over for the estimate and walking around the house and explaining what they do and how they do it, to Jose and the guys doing the work and keeping me updated through the whole process. The work that they did was excellent. Jose even worked late one day by himself to keep costs down. I love the end result and would recommend them to a friend.

I was extremely impressed with Lifetime Remodeling and with Gino. The only reason I did not choose them for the job is because another company (with whom I already have a professional relationship) agreed to exactly the same terms and the same price. I do like to have quality work at a good price, and believe that Gino would have delivered as promised. However, I also like to build relationships with companies that have already provided excellent service, so that is the only reason I chose to go with the other company. I can't say enough good things about Gino and Lifetime Remodeling. When he left, I felt like an educated consumer and I was grateful for the information and answered questions.

The entire experience was very positive. The bidding process was the most professional of all the contractors we spoke with. We knew exactly what materials we would be getting and how they would be installed. The project started on the day we were quoted, and the crew arrived on time every day. We talked each evening about what happened during the day's work and what to expect the next day. After the original siding was removed, we discovered several issues that was caused by the original builder. These were addressed immediately and the work was excellent. The crew worked very hard and effeciently, picking up debris each evening, putting away tools and keeping the work area in order. We are very impressed with the crew and their professionalism. The entire neighborhood has commented as to how impressed they have been through the entire process, and how fantastic our new siding looks. I have already referred Lifetime Remodeling to my neighbor, who is looking to replace her siding this next year. We will definitely call them in the future to do additional work.

From the bidding process through the final walk around this was a very positive experience. Our home had LP siding that was beginning to fall apart and pull away from our house. We hired Lifetime remodeling to remove all the old siding and install new Hardy Plank. They not only took off the old siding but replaced all the plywood underneath and added a moisture barrier, something that we discovered was not done under all the old siding. The workmen showed up every day, on time. They were polite, friendly and very professional. Each day the foreman would check with me to see if I had any questions or concerns. When there were decisions to be made he insured that I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. The men worked hard every day usually 10 or more hours a day. Gino, the owner and project manager, came by most days to check in with us also. At the end of each work day all the materials and tools were picked up and put away so there was no debris left around the yard. The job was completed in the time frame we were given and looks wonderful. Our neighbors have all commented on how impressed they were with the work ethic an expertise of the installers. We are delighted with the way our home looks and confident in the workmanship. I not only would recommend Lifetime Remodeling Systems, but I have. If it were possible to give a higher grade than an A I would o it.

Mike was very professional, he showed up on time, provided a packet of information with references. We walked around the outside of the house and we discussed doing several different things on the house. He had good ideas and thoughts about what needed to be done. He presented his company in a way that I would have been very comfortable using Lifetime Remodeling Systems. They warrantied their work and when discussing what needed to be done, I felt like they would do good quality work. At that time I asked Mike to present the estimate showing how much each thing we possibly wanted done would cost, so I could decide what we could do financially. He said okay, no problem. The next week, Mike came back to the house to present the estimate and he had grouped everything we discussed together into a lump sum of $13,000. I listened to what he had to say, and then asked him again to break out the cost of each task so I could pick and choose what I wanted to have done. He said, "Okay, no problem. I should be able to email that to you later today or tomorrow." The email never came. I waited about two weeks before calling him to ask for the estimate again. I contacted him on his cell phone and told him that I am waiting on the estimate that itemized every different task, and he once again said, "okay, no problem. I should be able to get that to you later today." About a week later, I signed a contract with a different company to have the work completed. With as much attention as they give to detail to present their company in a very professional manner, it is a shame that they would allow something like this to lose business for them. I hope they see this review and learn from it, because the impression I got is that they were a top notch company otherwise. Since I didn't use their service, I really don't know if they are or not.

Lifetime Remodeling systems were beyond amazing. Gino, Ismael and Alphonso were fantastic and a pleasure to work with. They were always earlier than on time :) and stayed later to maximize the work days. They even came in on a Saturday! Gino was so accommodating to our schedules and meeting when it worked. He provided all the information in a very timely manner, coming across town in god awful rush hour traffic. The work provided at the house was completed within the quoted time. The workers kept the work site very clean and orderly. This was very important to us as we have two small children. Not once did I feel they couldn't walk in the yard for fear of stepping on a nail. We had also spoken to our neighbors in anticipation of excessive noise. Our neighbor is a nurse that works nights. By the end of the work we had received multiple comments about how quiet the work had been. I even got a text from a neighbor saying she had heard multiple gasps and words of admiration from dog walkers the day the house was painted. Gino's suggestion of rain chains instead downspouts sent our neighbors over. We all love them. We can't sing Lifetimes praises any louder. THANK YOU!!!! We LOVE our home now.

Lifetime Remodeling Systems just completed a job for us in replacing the siding on the 2-story east and west walls of our home. They did a very professional job, and we are pleased with the results. Because of the size of the job, they brought in a large 'drop box' for all the scrap and trash, and also a port-a-potty for the crews. There was one crew that did the tear down of the old CertainTeed siding (explained below), and the majority of the prep work...of which there was a lot!! Then a 4-man crew came in to put up the majority of the HardiePlank siding and to do the painting. They did a great job, and we are very hopeful that this HardiePlank siding will hold up to the many years of service and withstanding our NW weather. The Production Mgr, Scott Herndon was either working along side the crew or was frequently 'checking in' as to progress, etc. The clean-up job they did after the work was finished was very good!! And we would not hesitate in using Lifetime Remodeling Systems again for any home improvement projects we might have. In July 2006, we contracted with Superior Exteriors NW to replace the LP siding on our home, and they used the cement siding product "CertainTeed". Because of the poor and sloppy job the installers did--and perhaps because of the product, too--we had to have the 2 walls of siding replaced this year (2013). We were unable to get any financial satisfaction from either the contracting company or the mfg.; and at that time we submitted a very negative review to Angie's List.

I called a few weeks before to set up the appointment for the estimate. A week later I called again just to let them know the exact square footage of the siding job. I didn't want to waste their time if the job was smaller than what they were willing to do. The receptionist took my message. Since I heard nothing back, I assumed they were still interested in the work. We took time from work to be home for the appointment. When I called to ask where they were, they seemed, if anything, a little snippy. They did admit that their estimator should have called me to let me know that the job was too small. I was concerned about wasting their time, but apparently they didn't care at all about wasting ours. I thought that maybe the estimator would call me afterwards at least and say Oops, I meant to call you. But no, that didn't happen.

I contacted Lifetime Remodeling Systems based on the Angie's list reviews. I needed a siding bid for a house we were hoping to purchase in the Portland Metro area. The bid would be used in conjunction with another to decide on repairs that were necessary before closing on the purchase. I e-mailed on a Friday or Saturday evening hoping for a Monday morning response as we needed to have our repair addendum submitted by Tuesday evening. In my e-mail I explained the circumstances, that we were the buyers and the inspection had revealed LP siding. Gino responded via e-mail almost immediately and said he would have someone out Sunday afternoon. Ralph was out at the home Sunday at the designated time, he met with my realtor who reported that this was both the most professional and impressive visit she has had with any contractor. Ralph was great, explained everything in detail, had a great handout for my agent, and left her with a contractor she says will be a go to for her in the future. The bid was to us on time and with all the detail necessary to make an informed decision. It was a couple thousand higher than the other but with superior warranty and materials. We elected to put Gino's bid forward to the seller, offering to pay a portion of the repair bill hoping to go through with the purchase and use Gino's company for the siding job. Unfortunately the seller was unwilling to negotiate on repairs, we were not able to reach satisfactory agreement, and therefore we walked away from the sale. I wanted to share our experience as Gino's responsiveness and service for a low probability sale went above and beyond. I will recommend Lifetime Remodeling System to friends/family/coworkers. My agent also plans to do so.

Working with Lifetime was great! Our contractor was Mike Short and the project was re-siding and painting our 1920s craftsman in SE Portland. They were knowledgeable about what the house was "supposed to look like" but also very accommodating when it came to our personal preferences. They didn't try to upsell us on anything - they were honest about which details make a big difference and which details you don't need to sweat. Snags came up along the way, as they will with an old house, and they were great at rolling with the punches and explaining what they were doing and why they needed to do it. For example, when we pulled the siding off of our front porch, they found that the beams supporting that porch (and the front half of the house) were rotten! So glad they discovered this! They fixed it- no more worries about the porch collapsing! For another example, the first heavy rain after the project was finished revealed some water flow issues with the gutters that they couldn't have known about earlier. They came back and made it right. Whenever we had a miscommunication or wanted something done differently, they fixed it, no question. It was like their top priority was making us happy, not just getting the job over with. They didn't stop until it was done! I highly recommend that you call Lifetime if you're thinking of doing any work on your exteriors.

I can't say enough good things about Lifetime Remodeling, Scott, Max and the crew. They were extremely professional. Every night when they were done they cleaned up everything and put all of their tools away, they were here everyday at 7:30 and worked until 5ish, Max always came to me with questions (if he had them) and always showed me any concerns. Scott checked on the job about every other day and was always available by phone anytime I needed to ask a question. Scott was in constant contact with Max checking on how things were going or if there was anything he needed. The crew that worked under Max was great (I apologize - I can't remember their names).They were very hard workers only taking lunch breaks, and I could tell they really cared about their quality of work. Lifetime Remodeling is very lucky to have such a dedicated crew. Everything that was done to my home was quality and it was done with respect. I have noticed that when people walk or drive by my house they slow down to take a look!! Scott, Max and the rest of the crew made my house beautiful and was so easy to work with. I have had several other contractors doing projects on my house and Lifetime Remodeling has been the best and outstanding communication!! If I could give them higher than a A I would. I would recommend this company to anybody and will use them again. A big thanks to Scott, Max and the crew!
