Fantastic. All of a sudden my LG refrigerator french doors were not flush and ice was forming on the back of the refrigerator. I called a couple of companies from Angie's List. Made an appointment with another company. I just wasn't happy with their response to my problem...the receptionist really didn't seem to care what was happening. I then called Knapp's (from Angie's List), talked to James. He took all of my information (model, serial #'s, etc) and said he would be at my house the next day. Cancelled with the other company (their schedule was 4 days). With a 2-hour window from Knapp's, James arrived at exactly 1:00pm. (my time window was 1-3) I was shocked. He diagnosed the problem immediately, realigned the doors, gave me instructions on how to remove the ice without unplugging. Using my hairdryer, the ice was totally removed within 30 minutes. I can't say enough about the quality of service, & professionalism. I will continue to recommend and use Knapp's Service & Appliance Repair. My entire experience with Knapp's was awesome. Customer service at its best.

i cannot say enough about how amazing this company is! Their work is thorough, professional and very reasonably priced. I have grown attached to my older appliances and now I know who to call to keep them running. Awesome!

James came out initially to inspect our washing machine which was making awful noises. He was great on the phone and able to come out next day, first thing to inspect. After turning it on, he knew the bearing was shot along with several other things and told me how much it would cost to fix, which would have been more than a new washer. So I declined to fix it, however I asked him if he could come back and install my over the stove microwave, which he was more than happy to do and came back that same week to do the install. He did a great job, was on time, clean and neat about it and let me watch the whole process. Turns out our microwave was hardwired when we should've had a plug. He recommended someone to come help with that issue and finished installing the microwave. We had the plug installed yesterday and everything is working great. James was friendly, prompt, reasonable and his work was impeccable. He also took the old microwave and all the packaging from the new microwave to dispose of, which was awesome. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and plan to call Knapp again if we need appliance or install work done.

It's been a while - I'm cleaning up my AL history - but I found this repair in my checkbook and remember it. Our dishwasher, which was 10-y.o. at the time was leaking, and Knapp's came out, found the root cause (a leaky gasket) and fixed it, which was not straightforward. The price was reasonable and the dishwasher is still going strong, almost 16 months later.

Repairman turned off refrigerator at temperature switch inside fridge, and then he forgot to turn it back on before he left. The light in fridgecontinued working, so I did not know temperature control was turned off. Everything melted/ thawed, and I had to throw out everything in fridge and freezer. When I told the owner of the company what had happened, he refused to return my calls. Very unprofessional. Strongly advise you call someone else !

The technician who came to our house originally thought we needed a new part, but when he called in to the office to order it, was told maybe not. A senior technician who had experienced the same problem with his own freezer drawer came out to our house and was able to adjust the door without any replacement part. We had used a different appliance repair company twice in the past to fix this same problem, each time with the fix lasting only a few months and costing over $180. Knapp’s charged $119 and made sure we know there is a 90-day warranty. Both technicians from Knapp’s were very professional and courteous.

The entire experience was perfect in my mind from start to finish. My first call was answered and someone took my information and told me I would hear shortly about an appointment. I received a return call from James within a couple of hours. He listened attentively to the particular circumstances for our installation, which I knew would make it more difficult than usual, and he assured me that if they couldn't do the installation exactly as I wanted it they would offer alternative solutions. 24 hours later Paul and James arrived exactly on time, and they quickly completed the installation exactly as I had originally requested, leaving the space clean and tidy. This installation was for five-year-old appliances, and another company specializing in installation wouldn't take the job because the appliances were not new. I hope none of my other appliances will ever need service, but if they do my first call will be to Knapp's.

I highly recommend Knapp's for appliance repair. James knew what the issue was right away and was able to find a part to fix the problem. James was on time, professional, followed-though on what he said he would do, and explained what needed to be done to fix the problem. He has been to my home twice (March & October 2017) for separate related repairs, and I will always call Knapp's. Thank you!!

Fine! Diagnosed probable problem by phone, had the needed part on their vehicle, repaired very quickly.

It went well. James and Paul were punctual and professional. They did the work quickly and were very pleasant.

He repaired it quickly and less expensively than other bids. When another related problem persisted, he returned two weeks later and repaired it for the cost of the part only (free labor and travel). He was incredibly honest, reliable, and knowledgeable. Will definitely use again.

A screw came loose and they promptly returned and fixed the problem.

They replaced the thermostat and about 9 / 10 weeks later I had the same issue. I called another technician I had used in the past and he said the reason it failed was because the technician only replaced the thermostat. Apparently, there is another piece that needs to be replaced at the same time. He said they are always replaced together. He showed me the other piece and it was obviously that it was old and had not been replaced. I paid $140.73 for Knapp to repair and I feel it was not a good use of my funds. So I paid for another technician to come out from another company and paid again for the repair just a few weeks later. I would highly recommend Dryer Tech. I've used their service 3x now, and I can honestly say I would call Dryer Tech again.

Both times he was very prompt in responding to me and we had an appointment next day. He was very friendly and we'll call him if we have any more issues.

Was able to reach James right away. He came within an hour. Figured out the issue, ordered the part and came back to finish the job when the part was in. Great experience.

I was very frustrated to have my refrigerator stop working right before the July 4th holiday. I had to go away a day later and didn't know what to do. Called around and found Knapp's and he was booked that day but found the time to come and see what was wrong which was very appreciated. Unfortunately it didn't work so while I was away I called him and set up another appointment. He said he'd be there early Monday morning and he came and knew exactly what was wrong, got the part that was needed and returned late afternoon to fix it. He was tired and really good about it. The cost of the part was not very expensive and he made it very affordable and he really went out of his way to do what he could to get the refrigerator fixed. I was very, very happy to say the least and would really recommend Knapp's Service & Appliance and will call him again if something else goes wrong with any of my other appliances. He's personable, honest and really helpful.

It was one guy. He just came out and looked at it. He needed to order the part for it. He was back in 3 to 4 days.

James arrived on time and diagnosed problem right away. Ordered part and returned in couple of days and installed new motor. Also lubricated hinge to stop noise. Dishwasher only 5 years old and dismayed when he told me that newer models only last 3 to 5 years before needing repair.

They were on time and replaced the valve within 30 minutes. They even took the time to explain to me what they were doing as I watched. The cost was reasonable too, even though I forgot to give them my 10% off coupon.
