+ -1 moreFrom start to finish, the whole process was performed professionally and with excellent results. If your first consideration is cost, this may not be the option for you; I'm sure there are roofing firms that will do the job for less money. If your first consideration is excellent materials and absolutely first class installation resulting in an exceptional final product, I would heartily recommend Cascade. I wanted to invest what it took to get the best roof I could, and what I got from Cascade is a first class re-roofing, much better than the previous roof I had had installed.
Description of Work: A very professional assessment was provided by Nels, with all of my questions being answered and with many details of the installation process that I would never have thought of explained thoroughly. On the day scheduled, the crew arrived and went to work immediately, replacing lots of wood that had dry-rotted and installing extra vents and flashing. Tarps and protective playwood shields were set up around the house to protect plants and shrubs, so that after the tear-off, there was virtually no debris to be seen anywhere. After the installation of the shingles began, the foreman knocked at the door and wanted to inspect inside to make sure that there was not excessive ceiling debris being loosened and falling into the living areas. I left after that to avoid the pounding racket (unavoidable obviously). When I returned, I found the area around the house left in a condition cleaner that I had left it. I have been waiting to write a review until our first significant rain, and I can report that there have been absolutely no problems.

+ -1 moreThe roof was just recently completed, but it seems to have been done in a good manner. When they were here, they listened to me in terms of what I wanted. I have gardens in my yard and they were very careful with them. They were very responsive and cleaned up after themselves. The final cost was right on with the estimate. There were no issues and they did a good job.
Description of Work: We hired them to install a new roof. They removed everything down to the rafters, installed new plywood, and the roof.

+ -1 moreit has been a pleasure to work with Cascade. They have been responsive, professional and helpful. They are also cost effective; their bid was substantially less than others of similar quality. Cascade is the most responsive of all the roofers I called; they are the only ones with a live receptionist who can actually schedule a time for an estimate. Nels, the owner, was great to work with . He was patient as we tried to figure out the color of the shingles and dropped off additional samples immediately. (We went with the color he initially recommended). One side of the garage has extensive flower beds. The crew avoided hurting them. It rained hard this weekend and new roof is tight.. We would definitely hire them again.

+ -1 moreFrom our first contact with Daniel to the completion of the job was done very professional and quickly. Daniel bid the job when we made on offer on this house and came out a again to answer the many questions we had about the process with both patience and professionalism. On the day of the job the "super" crew worked non-stop for almost 12 hours until they ran out of daylight. The foreman was on scene all day and answered any questions we had. We also had the crew to install on attic exhaust fan and reroof our tuff shed. The total job was complete in just over one day. While the price was higher than other bids we received the level of professionalism and customer service more than made up for any difference. The best part of the entire job is that we and our neighbors really like the look of the new roof. Thank you Cascade Roofing!

+ -1 moreWe received name of Cascade from Certainteed Shingle Company. Cascade is on their Select Masters Certified roof installers list. Cascade's price was a little higher than other estimates, but after reviewing bid details they provided a better installation. At time of estimate, the job was throughly explained to us. We chose some upgrades which increased cost. Prior to hiring them, we drove around and looked at previous roofs they had installed. The installers all work for Cascade and company has all necessary insurance which was important to us. The installation crew were very professional - worked hard and only took lunch break. Company sent a large enough crew to provide time for job to be done correctly. Company had an onsite supervisor on job at all times working along with crew. They even had a cute decorated portable toilet on job site. The shingles were delivered by a huge truck that placed shingles directly on roof. Torn off roof was thrown into Cascade company truck parked in our driveway. The completed roof looks great!
Description of Work: Cascade Roofing installed new roof on our house plus recommended good gutter installers. Cost above included gutters - billed through Cascade.

+ -1 moreCascade installed our roof ($6000) two years ago. We have been extremely happy with how the roof has performed. We are now selling our house, and the buyers' inspector identified a problem with ventilation in the attic, which caused some mildew problems. The sale of our house is contingent on repairing this problem. We contacted Clayton Hunt to ask him to inspect the problem and propose a solution. He spent 45 minutes at the house, followed up with a formal work statement for the buyers describing the issue and his proposed solution. He got two men here the very next morning to do the work, all at no charge. Clayton was extremely professional, responsive, and understanding of the situation we found ourselves in. We are completely convinced that we picked the right roofer, and would most certainly hire him again in the future.
Description of Work: Cascade consulted on and repaired an attic ventilation problem identified by prospective buyers for our house.

They removed the old roof down to the plywood and replaced a few sheets then proceeded to put ice and snow barrier on the roof where the new solar panels will be placed. They were done in one day start to finish. They cleaned up all the area around the house and it looked better than when they arrived. They replaced all the vents which match the new roof. It looks great!!

+ -1 moreI called to get an estimate on fixing some fascia boards and plywood, as I'm unsure if I need to have my house completely reroofed yet, and after I described the nature of the work to be done, they told me that they were only focusing on commercial roofs now. It's odd, as they currently have a coupon on Angie's List and have residential services listed on their site. It's only a suspicion, but I wonder if the person I spoke to didn't think my job was large enough for them to bid it. It's odd and too bad because they have such good reviews. So, according to them, they are only focusing on commercial roofing as of this date and were not interested in bidding my job.

As noted above, this company has excellent responsiveness, dependability, and employees who are a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: I would highly recommend Cascade Roofing. We have contracted with Cascade Roofing to replace our existing roof. However, we opted to delay the roofing until April. Well, with all the rain, I noticed water staining our cedar ceiling early this morning. I called Cascade Roofing and within approximately 30 min. 2 employees were here placing a tarp over the area. Excellent response.

+ -1 moreI had called Cascade Roofing for a quote in late 2010 to have our roof done the following spring (2011). As it often does happen, life delt us a blow, and we had to postpone it until this year. I called them up and asked them to come out and see if what they had quoted was still valid. (now mind you I expected it wouldn't be). Daniel Koole came out and we discussed it fully. Prices had gone up, but it was still a better quote than I heard from another company that actually had the guts to quote us $16,000.00! Daniel was fabulous and assured he would take care of us and wow did they follow thru! I was at work thru the install, but I can tell you that I couldn't even tell that they had installed my new roof except that it looked Stunning! My yard looked untouched. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Cascade, and they even sent candy to us! LOL! Thank you Cascade!
