Description of Work: The crew arrived on time with a call before they made it to update us on their arrival. After a walk through of the house and items to pack, their 4 person crew went right to work. | |We had some display cabinets that they wrapped very well to protect and did a great job packing the truck efficiently for the move. | |We had labeled most of the boxes, and at the new house, everything was offloaded in short order. Even with the heat, everyone did a great job to get things out and staged where we needed in the new house.

Description of Work: Moved out of our old house we'd been in for15+years into our new house. On time. crew was very courteous. We had a five person crew and to moving trucks. main boss of the crew was packing the truck and the remaining were hauling out to the truck. the four guys didn't always use the time wisely and we had to keep track of what they were doing a lot of the time.

 + -1 moreThey were prompt, efficient, and courteous. They protected the hutch carefully (it had some old leaded glass panelsm too) and delivered it safely, and positioned it exactly as requested. I also asked them to move a number of pieces of furniture out of my house (we were remodeling). A very large and awkward desk was maneuvered down our narrow stairway quickly, and without marring the walls. They were great.
Description of Work: Moved a 100+year old, very heavy hutch (formerly a built-in) from it's old home to mine, about 40 miles.

 + -1 moreBased on the recommendation from the moving consultant, I hired a team of four to move my household across town. The team arrived right on time, got to work quickly. It took about 3 1/2 hours to pack and load from my old house and about 1 1/2 hours to unload at my new house. The part of the job I was most impressed with was how they handled all of the glass-front cabinets: bubble wrap, then a piece of cardboard, both shrinkwrapped to the cabinet and finally a moving pad to protect the wood. Not a scratch on any of the items. Nothing scratched, cracked or broken from the kitchen pack up either. I'd recommend and hire them again!

I had a small apartment, but adding to the time frame was the drive through heavy traffic from one end of town to the other. Nevertheless, they got it done on time. The movers, Urbano and Alfredo, were friendly and professional. Nothing was broken or scratched. I would recommend them to others.

 + -1 moreThe moving crew of two were prompt, courteous, and professional. We had already moved all the boxes ourselves, so Bridgetown moved our furniture from a one-bedroom apartment with an elevator to a multi-floor house with stairs. The movers worked quickly to wrap and protect our furniture and load it all into the truck. On the other end, they also quickly hauled the furniture up a number of stairs and were very respectful of our newly-finished hardwood floors. The entire job took about 2.5 hours. The only slight criticism I have is that when I made the reservation, I mentioned that my apartment complex had a height restriction for its loading area, and was assured that Bridgetown knew of the complex and had trucks that would fit. However, the truck that came barely fit and technically wasn't within the restriction the complex cites. That said, it all worked out, and the issue didn't detract from the service provided. If I were doing it again, I would make sure to confirm the truck height a few days prior to the move.
