They came out to diagnosis the problem since had a leak in your wash machine. He ordered the part and came back to install it. What I love about them is that you can communicate and schedule appointments via email. They call before they are coming and you check their schedule on line to see where I am on their list.

After checking here I decide on this company. It just so happens they are litterally around the corner from me. The front line phone person discussed the terms and when I mentioned my closeness I was told there would be a discount on the estimate visit down to $55 for being near by. Made an appointment for a day or two later. I thought it would be the motor but was wrong and that it was one of the electronic controllers. After extensive testing the repairman said it was one controller and ordered it. He came back in 3 days and installed the controller. It did not fix the problem. He said it had to be the 'other' controller and quickly returned with the "other" and installed it while swapping back the part that turned out not to be broken. Washer was fixed and has been working since. I was not charged for the wrong part that was not installed and was charge $109 more for the right part. No big deal. On hindsight I might have suggested leaving the new not-needed part in for another $100 as a preventative measure but didn't. I had stacked the dryer on top of this washer and he did not require it to be removed. Instead he just leaned it up off the washer with a wood block and proceded to do the work that way. I liked that. I was told it would have cost more if he had to call in a second person to remove the dryer but that I could have helped him to remove it to avoid the cost. Neither was needed. The fact that I was scheduled as the first repair for this serviceman meant that he showed up within the time frame. But I was willing to wait if not the first call that day since I work at home.

In December approximately 3 years ago we called Appliance & Refrigeration Hospital since they were the warranty provider. The ice maker on our refrigerator was not working. Our issues was never fixed and we ended up calling someone else to fix the problem. Needless to say we were not happy that our issue was not resolved even though it didn't cost us anything. They are not a service minded company. It was snowing one day and they didn't show up even though roads were clear and everyone else was getting around fine. When I complained, I was told they would never come to my house again. Over the course of a year when we would call, they would send someone that seemed as though they had no idea what they were doing and would have to get one the phone with another technician who would give them instructions on what to do.Appliance & Refrigeration Hospital had a trial and error approach to service. They were very unprofessional. and for a rating I would give them an F and I would not use them again.

Once we were able to get them scheduled, it went fine.

I have two identical Thermador combination conventional & convection ovens. I installed two ovens in my home mostly for holiday cooking and baking. In early November, one of my ovens began beeping and flashing a code that indicated service or repair was necessary. I called the manufacturer for the names of service providers in my area. I became an Angie's List member to check for reviews on the providers listed. At first I called a different provider who was located closer to my home, but they no longer service Thermador ovens. They recommended Appliance & Refrigeration Hospital (ARH) to me. I checked the reviews for ARH on Angie's list and was happy to see they had favorable reviews, all A's. I called them and requested service, explaining that I needed the oven repaired as soon as possible with Thanksgiving looming on the horizon! I got an appointment the next day! Service rep Ray arrived and found that the entire front panel of the oven needed to be replaced, something unfortunately not covered under warranty. He said the part would need to be ordered and gave an estimate of how much it would cost. I approved the estimate and he assured me that they would complete the repairs as soon as possible. Sure enough, ARH contacted me in about a week to schedule a return visit for the repair. Within 10 days, my oven was repaired in plenty of time for our Thanksgiving feast! Ray was friendly and knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. Based upon this experience, we plan to use ARH for all of our future appliance repair needs!

The service light was lit on the display of our Sub Zero refrigerator. We had used Appliance & Refrigeration Hospital ('ARH') last year for an oven repair and were so pleased with the service that we decided to call for service on the fridge. Service rep Doug arrived within a few days and found we needed a new evaporator, an expensive part. He also found that the rubber gasket on the door was torn and needed to be replaced. We thought our warranty was expired, but Doug checked for us on the spot and found that that the expensive part was still covered! The evaporator had to be ordered, but arrived within a week. Doug came back out and replaced the parts and cleaned the filter and the fridge has run much more efficiently and quietly ever since. He was friendly and knowledgable and showed us how to keep the filter clean ourselves so that the fridge will continue to run efficiently. We will definitely call ARH for all of our appliance repair needs.

They are very professional and they show up on time. They do quality work. I would recommend them to others.

The company responded promptly when called and on the first visit determined that the oven door needed repair parts and that the refrigerator door had been hung incorrectly. (This is a rental property and the previous tenant had reversed the door opening.) The door was rehung and parts for the oven door ordered. When the oven parts arrived the repair person was also asked to check the refrigerator door again. They found that the lower hinge was binding, adjusted and lubricated the hinge and pin and added lock tight to prevent pin from backing out. The parts were installed on the oven door. The company charges a $79 service charge for each appliance plus parts and labor. I was charged a service charge for the first visit and two service charges for the second visit. When I complained they cancelled one of the service charges for the second visit. I think this company is expensive and probably will not use them again.

Overall good service, prompt and on time. I haven't had to repair a refrigerator before so I don't know what repairs run, but it seems high considering the parts were under warranty

Great, The gentleman arrived within the time allotted, took a look at the washer (over 10+ years old) and simply said "buy a new washer". Since he charges $80.00 to drive out and assess the appliance (a little expensive but we were warned) I figured I get my money's worth and ask about specific brands to look at and ones avoid. His experence and the information provided were invaluable, and saved us hundreds on the purchase of a new washer!

They are very prompt. They are very clear about what needs to happen. They were professional. They did a great job. They came in when they said they would come, and did what they were supposed to do.

They’ve been terrific! I definitely plan on continuing to use their service as needed; we’re currently covered under a warranty.

Called to set u an appointment. Received a phone call the day before the appointment ot give a 3 hour time window for the repair. The technician arrived within the time window and completed repairs with parts that were on the service van.

Maytag Bravos Washer has performance issues. Maytag hotline referred me to Appliance Hospital. Technician came out and diagnosed machine. Told me nothing wrong with machines, just need to use less detergent. In the end, this did not solve the problem. While the technician was nice and professional, in the end his advice/service didn't work at all. I intend on contacting an independent service company rated on Angies List to get their input.

They are responsive and the quality of their repair and replacement parts is always high.

They are the only one we call. They are certified by the manufacturers of the products. The technician actually verified that we do not need a new dishwasher, that it was operating fine.

It was a warranty repair. The experience went very well. The repairman was very professional. He was thorough in his explanation of his work that he did. He conducted himself in a very professional manner. They service all the major brands so they service any and all of them. I was hoping it was going to be under warranty so I was disappointed that it wasn't covered by the warranty, but that was not their fault. They were top notch regarding responsiveness and punctuality. I would use them again.

The technician was superb -- as always. We have used him before. The company, however, had very poor communications with customers when we booked a service call. We were unable to reach anybody on this past Friday despite multiple calls and interminable waits on hold. Finally, we responded to the plea to "leave a message," but nobody called us back. An email (last resort) was, however, passed on to the technician.

The control panel stopped responding in 11/2011. I called the Electrolux hotline and they tried to trouble shoot the problem but could not. They sent a repair company who looked at it, said it needed a part which would take 5 days. After three weeks, I gave up on them and called Appliance & Refrigeration Hospital. They were helpful, prompt, and arranged to have the part before coming, saving their time and ours. The repair person, Sean, was polite, showed up on time, and quickly did the repair. He even remembered that I had asked about tightening the door handle, which I had forgotten. They made a reminder call, and sent an email as well before arriving. All in all, a most pleasant experience. Now we have an appliance repair company I feel good about.

We had an issue with our refrigerator not cooling properly and contacted Appliance and Refrigeration Hospital based on positive reports here on Angie's List. The people in the office were extremely polite and helpful and were able to schedule a repairman to come out the following day. The repairman even called a half hour before arrival in order to coordinate with someone being here. Chris, the repairman, arrived on time and was a delight. He was very careful and thorough and was able to diagnose our issue (a faulty defrost thermostat). He did not have the part on the truck but was able to schedule a return visit for the following day for installation. When Chris returned the next day (again, after calling ahead to advise of his arrival time) he installed the new part. I appreciated that he answered all of my questions regarding the repair, as well as advising on key maintenance items we could do to avoid future issues. As it turned out there was a problem with the initial install due to some strange factory set up on our fridge, so a return trip was necessary the following day. Chris came back and was very apologetic about not catching the issue the previous day during the install. He remedied the problem this time 100% and there was no charge for the visit. Again, he arrived on time and announced his arrival by phone to ensure someone could be here. I would definitely recommend this company. They seem like a very honest and well run company, in terms of understanding the importance of customer satisfaction. Chris was wonderful and definitely helped to take some of the sting out of being without a fridge for a couple of days. He was great!! Our refrigerator now works like a charm. The technician was very good and professional. They were there on time, the prices seemed reasonable and I will use them again in the future.

They were not fast enough to point out that we needed a new dishwasher. They kept fixing it for 2 years and in the end we could have bought a new dishwasher for what we had paid. The last guy who came out informed us that we needed a new dishwasher. He was really good at what he does.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The technician was great. They are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. They are very knowledgeable and they do a great job.

If they can't fix it the first time they have to come back and charge to come back. The service was very good and they did a good job. We like them.
