Description of Work: They provided pull-out shelves, tip trays, drawer dividers, and a new drawer in my kitchen area. I placed the order in December, and about 80% were installed by Feb. 8. The remaining pull-out drawers are taking longer to manufacture as they are angled, and of odd shapes. I am very happy with the installation and clean-up, and with the functionality and quality of the products.

Description of Work: Not what I expected. The self system reduced my pantry space about 20% after they were installed. Easier to get to some items but less overall storage. This was not fully explained prior to the purchase so it was frustrating to try and put all the items back in and not have them fit right. I had a good conversation with the owner about how he might help avoid the shock and surprise with future clients. He an his staff are nice people that strive to do good work, but I would not reduce space in my cabinets again with this product.

I had a very unique blind cabinet space that was made very usable |Nancy and Patrick so helpful in addressing my concerns/questions |The ordering of the special shelf took longer than the 30 days so I was a bit concerned about the refund policy (if needed) just made call to Angies List and they made note on my purchase that I had not received it and extended 30 days more. Highly recommend Shelf Genie..I gave me so much more useable cabinet space..Thank you!

Description of Work: Thim evaluated my needs, and designed a solution that met my requirements. |The pull-out shelves are beautiful, and very well made - I love them. Installation was another thing: The installer was professional and competent, but the manufacturer sent a wrong sized shelf and a revolving corner shelf system (lazy susan) that would not fit through the existing cabinet door. Installer reordered, but after weeks of waiting I heard nothing while having my cookware sit on my dining room floor. I finally called Thim, and presto, the next day I was told they had the shelf and lazy susan ready for installation. I sincerely believe it was only my call that activated the completion of this job. Since I contracted to pay half the charge on completion, I did have some leverage. I would advise any prospective buyer to use this provider because the product is superior to any I know of. They are truly fine custom-built pull-out shelves that fit behind your cabinet doors, a boon for those who can no longer get down on knees to reach into lower unmovable shelves. Just be warned, it may take longer if manufacturer builds and sends the wrong size, and stay on the company to deliver.

After that review (which demonstrates that Angie's List works, YAY!), we soon received a call and a visit from the installer (Mike, someone we like a lot). He explained that he had been very ill during the time we were waiting for a call. We believe and accept Mike's explanation. Mike then proceeded to go above and beyond, and described and designed a two shelf system for us that would suit our needs very well. We had chosen the ShelfGenie product because it seems VERY well designed. The design that Mike showed us is great. LAST, Mike has given us a design that usually would cost much more than the coupon value we purchased, so we are happily awaiting the installation!! The first contact by provider asked for my phone number. This was long after the dates offered in the signup process had passed with no response. After supplying my number, it took another several days before I received a call. The caller seemed most interested in how much we were planning to spend, and it took several exchanges before he accepted my statement that we wanted someone to come to our home and give us some advice on what he could do, and then provide something to us worth $500, as the coupon advertised. He said he would have his installer call to se up an appointment. No call has been received. He did also mention that he noticed that we were somewhat of a drive from Portland (which, in Yamhill, we are...), but I got the sense that he wished he had limited the geographic area of his offer (which he did not). Since there will be some strain in any relationship at this point, I would prefer a refund

Description of Work: 11 glide out shelves were installed in my kitchen. The design consultant and the installer were both very prompt, professional and helpful. It is a quality product and I love how well they work. I am very pleased with both their work and their product.

Description of Work: The Bid deal coupon stated that The average price for a regular lower cabinet is around $550, while the average price for a kitchen is around $2,500.The SelfGinie owner came over to our house, was promt, polite and went through a nice sales presentation. We decided to concentrate on three lower cabinets snd the estimate 2,077.00 with the Big deal 500 deduct. That runs about 758.00 per cabinet. The product was well made but is way over the top for pricing and our budget.
