Bull Mountain Heating AC & Insulation

The two technicians arrived in the 2 hour window they had said they would. They were exceptionally friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the service received that I have gone ahead and scheduled recurring service for my new house with them.

Contacted the company and explained my living room gas fireplace was not working well, it comes on but the flames are very low and can barely be seen. Explained that I had another vendor come out first who said it was likely an issue with a gas control valve in the fireplace. Thus, Bull Mountain came out and indicated that they don't normally work on fireplaces but it's indeed the gas control valve that needed to be replaced at additional cost of $425. However, before they were scheduled to come out to replace the control valve, I found a fireplace service provider here in Angie's list and spoke to him and he indicated based on what I said it's more likely and issue with clogged/dirty gas line thus offered to to come out and look which he did and sure enough he was able to fix it by simply cleaning/unclogging the gas lines without the need to replace the gas control valve. I wish Bull Mountain Heating had told me over the phone when I made the initial appointment that they are not specialists in Fireplaces because had they did I wouldn't have dealt with them. So this rating is based on incorrect diagnosis. UPDATE: Bull Mountain Heating contacted me regarding my review. They apologized for incorrect diagnosis and explained to me had they replaced the Gas Control valve and the issue wasn't resolved they would wouldn't have charged me for the replacement. I really appreciate them taking time to contact me and explaining themselves. Although this may very well have reimbursed me if the gas control valve replacement didn't help, realistically I also think during the process of the replacement of the gas control valve I'm sure they'd find the dead spider and remove it which in turn would have addressed the actual root cause and fixed my issues. Thus, I will update the overall rating to "Fair" but I will stand by this review as it's still a faulty diagnosis.

After a late arrival (which is my only complaint), they got right to work and did a great job inspecting and cleaning my ac unit and furnace.

My serviceman arrived on time. He was professional and competent. He was very thorough. Along with the yearly service of my heat pump system, he found the issue of the faulty condensation pump. When I questioned a serviceman from another company who was here last year, he did not know why water was on the garage floor sporadically. I was glad to have this problem resolved. I will hire Bull Mountain Heating again.

The fellows came to the house at the appointed time. Worked non stop on the days of install. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. We chose York for the furnace and A/C. We noticed a difference in the house cooling when we turned on the A/C and we hope to notice the house staying warm during the cold winter months.

He was very nice, I would recommend them, on time, matter of fact, I think he may have given my 20 year old fan/heat pump another year maybe even two.

Impressed by the level of service received

The job went very smoothly. We were able to book in the day and time we wanted. They came on time and did the job. They were professional, efficient and cordial. It was a simple job of checking the furnace and giving it a tune up. All in all we were very satisfied with the process and the price.

The technician who fixed it tried to move the motor and was quite violent in the way he moved it, like it could break at any moment. Now the machine is making an odd noise once in awhile. I wish he had been a little more careful with it. Scheduling was not too bad and the communication with them was OK.

He was very friendly, fixed the problem promptly,and showed and explained how he took care of it. I was pleasantly surprised on how small the charge was and recommend him!

He called first to confirmed approximated time for arrival. shakes hand with him. Show him to garage and asked about to do extra job for the A/C, too. He went to do his jobs and I went back to watch my tv shows. I had no details for you. All I know is he did what he suppose to do that's all. When he was done he came in put on the shoes covers and explained to me what he did. Ask me if I had any questions for him, which I had and he answered. I am happy with the experience. I'll definitely recommend to my families and friends. Thanks again!

Bought their $49 AC checkup and also advised them I needed a new low-profile condensate pump. The fellow came prepared, on-time, checked over the AC units thoroughly, added more coolant, and installed the pump. He was efficient and professional.

Service not performed. Unable to schedule in a reasonable time frame.

A few days before my scheduled deal for an air conditioning check, my air conditioner quit working. The technician discovered that it was a bad fuse, which added $14 to my Angie's list deal of $45. He called to let me know his estimated arrival time and finished the work in a timely fashion. The AC unit now works great.

They were prompt, professional and did exactly what they said they would do. They provided a small window of 8-10am (which we really appreciated-not having to wait around in a four hour window) and it was a great experience. We will definitely use them again.

Everything as planned. Could be a little cleaner, but I'm a perfectionist.

They were quick to assess the problem with the AC and replaced the fuses. They then tuned up the unit and cleaned it - then offered to do the furnace as well so I asked them to proceed. All work was done quickly. We did have a problem later in the day with the AC but a rep was sent out very quickly and the problem was resolved in no time.
