Shaun was friendly and very professional from the initial phone call. He was able to schedule us in without any problem. My wife 'supervised' the entire job and Shaun didn't seem to mind and all when she wanted to try out multiple layout options. The work is absolutely perfect and the price was less than expected. We couldn't be more pleased and will be happy to use Up a Creek Plumbing again!

Very punctual - arrived on time. Worked diligently till the job was done. The tank needed to be rotated and pushed back in the corner to make room for my washer & dryer. The ductwork was repaired so that it no longer leaked gas; fittings were installed to make it easy to shut off the water orand gas if needed. Flex hose replaced. The workings of my hot water tank were explained to me so I would know how to operate it.

A good contractor should be knowledgeable, aren't always professional and rarely all 3, that's why Shaun gets a 5 STAR...He responded every time I asked stupid homeowner questions, and was kind about each one. He did what he said he would, and was there when he said he would be, and charged me what he told me he would. Shaun is a young guy, with a young local small business, the kind of business this community should be very proud to support. Shaun will get my "word of mouth" referral for sure. You will not be disappointed by calling Shaun.

Great- Shaun was on time and very courteous. His work was great and the leak is fixed. When I called my water department to have my usage recalculated I mentioned how happy I was with the service and she took down his info as many people ask for a"good" plumber.

I had "inherited" a slow drain - my washing machine would not handle all the water output. I had tried to fix it with no luck with a snake and other tries. Shaun came promptly (early) and snaked the line with his high powered equipment and fixed the problem!! He went the extra mile and had to climb on my roof to snake it. Price was very reasonable. I have him scheduled to come back for an unrelated plumbing issue.

Shaun was a little late because of another job he was doing but gave me a call to let me know what was going on. When he arrive I showed him what I needed done, and he completed everything in about 30 minutes and asked if there was anything else that needed some repair. He is very personable and professional. I will definately call him again if I my home has more plumbing problems.

I am very happy with the whole experience! bought a water heater and he offered me an upgrade. He explained the difference in the warranty, quality and price and then let me decide without any pressure to spend more money. He was very quick to respond to all of my messages and questions. He arrived on time and did a great job, and even hauled off the old water heater for me. Not only am I very happy with is work, but I had a great time talking with him while he was here. He very personable and obviously enjoys his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone and have already hired him for another job.

All I can say about Shaun: what a cool guy. Not only did he contact me back faster than any other service provider I?ve requested service from, he followed through on his commitments. He provided an excellent over the phone consultation, ordered the parts and set up an appointment for about a week and a half out to install. I couldn?t have been more impressed. He?s a very personable guy?down to earth, easy going, funny and approachable. Throughout the visit he shared with me facts about my house and its plumbing that I didn?t know, but were definitely useful as a new homeowner. About half way through the visit, he informed me of a possible complications before moving forward. Things ended up working out just fine in the end. My bathroom has finally been brought into the twenty-first century, thanks to his help. When the job was done, he asked if I had any other questions or issues I wanted to have looked at. Of course, I didn?t because he was so thorough in his assessment of my needs. I?m really impressed with the service that Shaun provided. He was prompt, courteous and followed through. The total cost of the service he provided was even less than he quoted me! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing plumbing services in the Salem/Keizer area.

Shaun arrived at the scheduled time and trusted me as to my diagnosis of the problem. After some work, he was able to get the pressure plug off and work around the heating ducts to get in the pipe and clear out the blockage. I would definitely hire him again.

I purchased the deal through Angie's List and set a date to have the disposal replaced. However, I needed to change the date of service so I called directly. Sean was able to fit me in and came within a few days, even though he was booked out a few weeks. He was prompt, courteous, and wore protective foot coverings so as to keep my floor clean. He worked quickly and seemed friendly, chit chatting with me while he did the repairs. I am very satisfied with the work. Everything is working perfectly and beats my previous arrangement of having to hold the drain pipe with my foot while the disposal ran, so it would not flood the under sink area. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to others.

Absolutely great! Over the course of 15 years I have had several local plumbers attempt to remedy the slow draining basement utility sink with no success. I was so frustrated! This last month the drain stopped draining completely which left me unable to use my washer until the drain problem was resolved. Once again I had to try and find a plumber who would do what they advertised, as in clear clogged drains. Up A Creek had good reviews on Angie's list and anyone with a company named Up A Creek sounded like they had a sense of humor and were worth checking out. After explaining my problem to Jake, he agreed to come out of his usual service area to help me out. What a guy! He arrived early to the appointment and got right to work. In an hour he had not only resolved a 15+ year headache of a drain but replaced the pipe under the sink for better access in the future. Thank you Jake. The drain is working better than I have ever seen it. All around excellent job. He even brought his own rags and cleaned up all water and "muck" that came out of drain and all with a smile and sense of humor. Thanks again!

I can't say enough awesome things about Shaun and Up A Creek Plumbing. I called last minute because I couldn't get an old, rusted faucet to come off a water pipe in my laundry room. I had to replace it because it was leaking and I had buckets and water all over my floor. I called mid morning, and even though Shaun said he had a full case load, he fit me in at the end of the day. When every other plumber told me: "Sorry, I'm busy" Shaun said, "Yes, I can do that!" I'm taking care of my 90-year-old dad so I do alot of laundry, and there is no way I could have ever gone a day without a washing machine. As he was tackling the rusted faucet, Shaun mentioned he had another job to go to after he was done helping me, and it was already past 7 p.m. An elderly lady had dropped her glasses down the toilet and flushed! So even though Shaun had already worked a full day?he took the time to help myself and this elderly lady after his normal business hours. Shaun pulled the old, rusted faucet off the line, replaced it with a new faucet, and fixed my problem in just a few minutes. What a relief it was to be able to do laundry again. I definitely recommend Shaun at Up A Creek Plumbing. He is friendly, prepared with the right tools, very knowledgeable, does quality work, and is dedicated to superior customer service. Overall, I am satisfied. The repair was delayed due to the unavailability of a correctly sized tool to seal off the water from the house while a new connection was soldered on. Attempts to do it without the tool resulted in delays while the water drained and a small leak. After the correct tool was purchased, the repair was completed properly. We also used Shaun to replace three interior faucets and a tub drain. This was done in a timely manner and without any issues.

The initial service was performed on April 22, 2015. Shaun arrived as scheduled. He is friendly, personable, pleasant and professional and we all got along very well. The work he performed was exemplary, extremely neat, tidy and efficient, my wife and I were impressed by the quality of his work which required 2 1/2 hrs for completion. All in all we thought that Shaun and the work he did were both great. Considering how we feel in general about our experience and how we recommend his work to anybody, I am compelled for the sake of honesty to mention one caveat. After completion of the job we noticed water appearing underneath the faucet and between it and the sink so we called Shaun on April 25 because we thought we would give it a couple of days to settle in and maybe resolve itself, Shaun stated that because of his scheduling he could not come back to check it until May 12, 18 days after we brought it to his attention. Now it has been our experience in business that a job is not finished until the customer is satisfied and unfinished work always takes first priority. In other words you make time! Whether it requires you to miss a lunch hour or get home late. It just comes with being in business for yourself. I will say we did not indicate to Shaun that this was an urgent matter and I like to think he would of returned sooner if required. But I'm not sure the urgency of it matters, I just know our business experience was to return asap both because we hated having unfinished work hanging over our heads and because we felt we owed it to take care of any problem for any customer who had already given us their work and their money. That being said when Shaun did return he was very nice and apologized for any inconvenience he may have caused us and fixed the problem to his and our satisfaction. We have not had any difficulties since. When he did return, the whole experience with him was just as nice as his initial visit. We just thought that the responsiveness left something to be desired. If we run into any plumbing needs in the future we will call Shaun if he will still want our business!

Work was professionally and satisfactorily performed. It's good to have people working in your home that you trust and who are normal solid people with good ethics. My wife and I highly recommend this quality family owned and operated business.

Shaun came highly recommended by other customers who happen to be my friends prior to my seeing the deal on Angie's List. Therefore I was glad to get him to come out. He was thorough, incredibly tidy, very efficient and he answered my questions above and beyond questions around the problem at hand. I will certainly call him whenever I have a plumbing issue and will feel comfortable enough to call if I simply have a question. He is an excellent resource and service provider.

He was great. He was willing to come out even after 5 if need be but was able to arrive earlier, all on same day of contact. We had no hot water. He located the leak in the Water Heater, Ordered a new one with a longer warranty and installed it. Shaun was personable, efficient, professional and he cleaned up before he left. I would not hesitate to hire him again if I needed a plumber.

I had an appointment scheduled for 12:00PM. Owner/Operator Shaun Bills called me around 11AM, said that he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early. Shaun showed up and started work at 11:30AM. When he showed up he was friendly polite, and professional. He put on his boot protectors to keep my floor clean and went to work. I showed him the leaks under both sinks. In the bathroom, Shaun ended up replacing a cold water pipe stub that had rusted out on the tip where the shutoff valve screws onto pipe under sink. In the kitchen, Shaun reinstalled cold water shutoff valve under sink. He used plumbers glue on the end and tightened, he also installed a longer hose connector from shutoff valve to faucet. He turned water back on to house and checked for leaks. There was no leaks and the job took 1 hour to finish. He gave me a receipt and said to call him if there was a problem that developed. It has been about a month since he performed the work and still no leaks. Shaun was very professional and had good customer skills. He was easy to talk to and had a great since of humor. Up A Creek Plumbing will be at the top of my list of companies to call if I have a plumbing issue again! Thank you great job.

If you like surprises, be prepared for the BEST surprise from Shaun Bills. He walked in, fixed my faucet leak in under 30 seconds and them moved on to fix the mass of stupid-looking pipes the previous owner of the home had left under my laundry room sink. WOW! that mass was gone and in its place - a normal looking set of pipes! He's very personable in addition to being a great plumber. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!

Since this was a total remodel of a 1970's bathroom, it presented itself with some unique plumbing and venting challenges. We were impressed with Shaun's ability to assess the problems in a very positive manner and to come up with workable solutions. He listened to our input and was personable and friendly. Work was done quickly and we were very happy with the quality of the plumbing project. Cost of the service also included the piping materials he purchased, but did not include the valves and fixtures that we had purchased separately.

Work request was cancelled due to length of time they could get the job done.

Great service. He quickly fixed the one problem we had then used the rest of the hour to fix other issues at the house. Nice guy!
