Excellent. They were prompt, efficient and fast. I absolutely will use them again. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This is the fourth time Doug has pumped out our 1000 gallon cement septic tank. (Note: In preparation, we had dug out the 30 inches of dirt covering the septic tank cover + an extra foot around the cover, making a ledge to stand on. He used our garden hose with his power nozzle to wash out the inside of the tank). As always he was personable, professional and thorough. He gave us a one hour time window and called when he was on his way. My adult daughter was interested in watching the whole process and he answered her many questions, explaining things as he went along. Time involved was about hour from start to finish.

When your septic tank pump goes out, you need help right away! After calling several companies, Aloha Sanitary Service was the only company that responded and showed up on the same day with no additional charge. How great is that? Plus, they recommended a firm to install a new pump which we did and worked out quite well. Thank you Aloha Sanitary Service.

I called Kelly at Aloha after "A Affordable" failed to respond. Kelly called me back immediately, and told me that the two things I was looking for, repair of a septic pump and installation of a solids tank riser, were NOT things that Aloha did. He gave the following reasons: 1) Pumps are speciality items - very few systems have pumps, and so most septic companies, even if they say so, do NOT have the expertise to handle a repair or replacement. Therefore, Aloha understands their own capabilities and does NOT attempt repairs. He referred me to Hillsboro Pump Service. 2) Risers are pretty easy to do, but as a small family-run business, Aloha chooses to only do these in the winter when business is slow. He said that business is brisk in the summer months when it is easy to access the septic systems without lots of bad weather. Therefore he said that he would refuse to do #1, as well as #2, but his responses were professional, they made sense, and I appreciated the honesty and professionalism. I moved on to someone else, but I would use them if I needed to.

I'm not sure that you want ALL details of pumping out a septic tank ;-} Fast, reliable service. We've used Aloha for eight years and have our tank pumped every two years. They are an outstanding, family owned company.

Arrived right on time. Explained actions before starting and then continued to explain as the work was done. Professional and curteous at all times. Service complete aprroximately 1.5 hours. Very happy with results.

I spoke with Kelly at Aloha Sanitary Service about septic tank pumping and inspection. Unfortunately, I was not able to use his service at this time. However, Kelly was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, honest, and patient with me. I am convinced that if I had contracted with him at this time, his company would have done top quality work for me.

Above and beyond service! Aloha pumped out our tank then cleaned it out thoroughly. They checked to make sure the line from the house was working properly and gave their assessment based on what they could see of how well the system was working. I learned a lot about the system and they answered all my questions. They had to use every inch of hose to get to the tank but they were very careful not to damage plants and flowers in the beds they had to take the hose through. When the job was complete they asked me to inspect it myself to be sure I was happy with the job. The tank was completely cleaned (not just pumped out) and I felt they really knew what they were doing and had considerable experience. The price was per gallon and we have a larger than typical tank.

It went great. I made the appointment on the phone on Tuesday for that Thursday morning. Dave arrived a few minutes early and I helped him locate the tank. He dug the hole to expose the cover. I helped him a bit since I was there. After pumping the tank, he actually climbed in to clean it thoroughly! He was experienced, knowledgable, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

The second best thing about using Angie's List is learning about business you are thinking about hiring for a job. The best thing about Angie's List is being able to write a glowing report on a business you have hired. Today we had Aloha Sanitary Service out to pump and inspect our septic tank. We've been in our house 2 years and have never had a septic system before, so really didn't know much about them – maintenance, how they work, warning signs, etc. Not only did Dave and Dan pump and inspect the system, they me showed the tank, how the house drains into it, how the tank drains into the drain fields and how it all works together. Our tank indeed was full and needed to be pumped. It is older and showing the signs but they felt we would be ok for at least a few years before having to consider replacement or getting hooked onto our city's sewer system. I know our system works and I know how. I know how to maintain it and for certain, I know who to call – Aloha Sanitary Service. They are knowledgeable, quick, clean (very, very clean - both during and after pumping the tank - and considering the job that is saying something), very reasonably priced.

I called Aloha to schedule a septic service, but they were very honest and straightforward and said to wait a year. They explained everything and said a service wasn't necessary at this time. I would definitely use this company in the future.

Fast, efficent, and friendly service can't be beat. I would not go to anyone else for this type of service. They know the ins and outs of septic systems.

Overall it went well. They had to help locate certain pieces of the system so they did that and they did the draining and it went fine.

I had first contacted Aloha Sanitary to consult with them on a prospective property we were thinking of purchasing. Kelly was extremely helpful and spent a good deal of time explaining about septic tanks, systems, pitfalls and what we could be facing in terms of pumping, inspection and potential replacement. As it turns out, he was spot-on about the age of the steel tank and it ended up needing to be replaced. All in all, I felt that not only were the prices quoted very reasonable given the service they provided, I was impressed with the time they were willing to spend explaining details in a friendly, patient manner!! We have since purchased a property and Aloha Sanitary will get all of our business from here on.
