Customers have come to rely on Terry and Aloha Auto Center to know which parts are needed, and will work best on their vehicle. At Aloha Auto Center we don't always uses factory parts because it is our goal to provide the best parts with the best warranty which may be an aftermarket part. We do our research to ensure the right parts at the right price that are the overall best for our customers. In the auto repair industry, business consultants say the owner should never be the service advisor, however I disagree. I, Terry, believe in working hand and hand with my staff to ensure my customers will be treated honestly and with respect. I will make sure your vehicle is serviced promptly and quickly. We provide a broad range of services including manufacturers 30, 60 & 90K service. Specializing in Domestic and most Import vehicles. State of the art equipment allows us to diagnose problems faster, which everyone knows saves money. Over the years, our goal has been to ensure the complete satisfaction of every customer, while offering knowledgeable and friendly service at competitive rates. We are a full service Japanese Import and Domestic repair facility. We service the following makes and models, Subaru, Honda, Acura, Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Dodge, GM, Ford, Chevrolet, Jeep and Chrysler. We also do fabrication. We work on trailers/boats and some really strange things that customers bring in.

Description of Work: Great fast service. Our car had a lot wrong with it so we knew it wouldn't be good news. We got the car in and they ordered a part for us. Turns out it came in the next day and we were good to go! And $100 cheaper than we were quoted. I would definitely go back.

Terry's shop is clean, and organized. He is very professional, friendly and will show you what he is doing to your car if you are interested. Check out his website www.alohaautocenter.com
Description of Work: Driving my car in downtown traffic, my car started to have steam come from under the hood and the thermostat was "high". I called Terry to see if I could have it towed to Aloha and he agreed to wait for me after hours. The water hose had a slit in it and there was a air pocket that was building up steam. Terry drained everything, put back coolant and repaired the hose, ready for pickup the next day. On a note, the hose he ordered didn't look good to him, and he sent it back and got a better one. I used him to replace my head gasket and that was a bargain and stopped the oil leak.

Terry (the owner) was courteous and came across as honest. After receiving our initial quote from him, we compared prices and others' experiences listed online. After finding his quote to be reasonable, we brought the car in for repair. Terry beat his estimate for the work in both time and money. In the end, Terry's honesty and approach saved us approximately $500, which made us very happy. We highly recommend this shop for auto service.
Description of Work: Our 2001 Dodge Neon was overheating and leaking coolant. We looked on Angie's list and found Terry listed with good reviews. It turned out that our frost/freeze plugs were in need of replacement. We dropped the car off on a Wednesday after-hours, and had the car back that Friday afternoon. We have been driving the car for a couple of weeks now without issue.

JOB 1: ALOHA AUTO CENTER SPECIALIZES IN JEEP SERVICE AND I HAVE USED THEM FOR ALL MY JEEP REPAIR. I THOUGHT THE TRANSMISSION WAS FAULTY WHICH WOULD HAVE COST BIG BUCKS, BUT THEY DISCOVERED THAT THE SPEED SENSOR WAS FAULTY AND REPLACED IT FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST OF A NEW TRANSMISSION. THEY ARE HONEST, CONSISTENTLY HAVE LOWER PRICES THAN THE JEEP DEALERS AND PERFORM FACTORY SERVICE. HELPFUL, INFORMATIVE, AND FRIENDLY. Job 2: I have my Jeep serviced at Aloha Auto Center, and have found that Terry is very honest, fair, and far below the prices charged at the major dealerships. Terry has saved me hundreds of dollars over the years by providing excellent, friendly and informative service, always at the lowest price available.
Description of Work: JOB 1: MY JEEP SUDDENLY SHIFT FROM 4TH GEAR TO 3RD GEAR WHILE DRIVING. ($162) Job 2: I had my 92 Geo Tracker towed to Aloha Auto Center when it would not shift into any gear. The manual 5-speed transmission would not engage into any gear from neutral and I feared my car had a serious transmission or clutch problem. Terry works on all my cars and checked the Tracker but could find no problems. He did not charge me for the tests and even adjusted the clutch for free. ($0)
