We went back to the dealership the following week and all the improvements had been added including a wall mount TV fixture. We did a walk through of the unit and it was the most thorough we had ever been taken on. He showed us that everything that could function did function and supplied all the manuals and instructions that went with the trailer. We asked about things that we couldn't test on the lot such as flush valves, etc. and they said that if there was any problem like that when we got home they'd take care of it. We took the unit home and throughly tested it and it was fine. We discovered that the stablization jacks didn't have a handle, so we called them and they said we could come up and get one at no charge, which we did. Whenever we call them with questions about the unit or RV questions in general they are very cooperative and thorough with answers. We would highly recommend Oregon RV Outlet to anyone who wants a satisfying RV buying or selling experience.
Description of Work: We were looking for a lightweight travel trailer and were shown this 2002 Trail-lite model 22' long. Some of the appliances weren't where we wanted them and we noticed one of the tires didn't look that great. We wanted a stove with an oven and the microwave unit moved to a higher location. They were asking $7900. and we offered $6,000, which they agreed to. They said they would include this in the unit without an increase in price. We made a down payment of $3,000 and they said we could pick up the unit the following week with the improvements made.

We drove approx. 40 miles to the dealership based on an ad in our local "shopper" and a telephone conversation with the manager. We were greeted cordially by the manager and were able to get the price reduced considerably, probably due to slow Winter RV sales. We looked at the unit and found a few things lacking such as a stove with no oven and microwave below the stove where the oven would be. Also wanted a wall mount swing arm for the TV. They agreed to these changes including matching the stove and microwave colors without a price increase. When we arrived the following week to pick up the RV all these changes were done, including replacing a worn tire. The RV tech did a complete functional walk through including checking faucets, water flow, heater operation, etc. Of the things that couldn't be checked, such as waste disposal, etc. they said that if anything was wrong within a month of purchase that they would make it good, even though the unit was sold "as is". We also received 2 gift certificates totalling $50. for parts and accessories in their shop. The RV business, like many others, is in a slump, especially at this time of year. This dealership really "bent over backwards" to accommodate us and we still got a good deal based on our check on the "Blue Book" value of the unit. We were treated very well from the management, shop and service techs and I would highly recommend this dealership for honesty and integrity.
Description of Work: We selected a 2002 model RV from the lot and described things we would like to see changed or installed. This included installing a stove with oven (existing stove had no oven) , relocating microwave oven, installing an adjustable TV wall-mount arm and replacing one of the tires. These things were agreed to be finished when we picked up the RV 6 days later and were accomplished on time, with no additional cost.
