Highly recommend! They didn't think they could come out the same day, but were able to make it. explained everything very well and helped keep my 28 yr old air conditioner (just bought the house) working another summer. I know we will need a new one eventually, and will definitely be coming back to them.

A second opinion was needed for a carbon monoxide issue and Earthwise came to my rescue so quickly, without a charge, as they were in the area at the time. The heat exchanger was going, pictures were taken to show me the rust of the 22 y/o furnace. It was replaced, safety hazards taken care of, and felt so reassured. They were friendly, patient, prompt, and went the extra mile. Very pleased and would recommend them to my neighbors!

I was prepared to replace the refrigerant lineset but they spent considerable time and effort to track down the tiniest leak, so much more expensive replacement was not needed. Very impressed. Thanks again.

They came the next day at 7am and had it fixed that day even though they had to rewire the whole thing. Very professional, explained everything, even are attempting to find me other cheaper filters than the ones I buy.

We had a furnace installed with our home built in 2014 and it has worked reliably every year, but when we went to fire it up it would start and then just shut off with no heat. I reached out on a Monday evening and they responded within ten minutes even after normal business hours. Better yet, they sent a technician the next day and he did a thorough and methodical job of troubleshooting the issue, finally tracing it to an abandoned mud dauber wasp nest in the exhaust pipe that was preventing it from igniting. The tech cut the pipe and cleared the nest and got the furnace operational soon after, explaining each step along the way. Fantastic service, speedy response and solved the problem. Thank you!

It was installed. this company had installed a new furnace for me in Feb 2018. they quickly took care of both the furnace and the water heater in a timely fashion.. they did a good job, were courteous and friendly. they found some problems with the installation of my old water heater and fixed them without adding to the estimate he gave me. I was pleased with everything they did... would definitely hire them again.

Fantastic service. I learned so much from Earthwise. They informed me each step of the way. Turns out that it was throwing the breaker. Replaced fuses as well a very worn Capacitor. In addition, gave me tips to keep it running better in the future. I will be having Earthwise perform a pre-winter inspection for my furnace since no one has ever done that. Bottom line, if you need help with heating and cooling, you really need to call these people now. EXCELLENT service.

My furnace was broken and Earthwise had the new furnace installed in less than 24 hours. Once the furnace was installed it was discovered that the duct work in the crawlspace was also detached. I now have a functioning furnace and heat in all of my home. There hasn't been proper airflow for several years. I highly recommend Earthwise.

We lined up Earthwise to do the work before the "busy season." However, we kept needing to delay the start of the work because of foundation work that needed to be done first, and those contractors were delayed several times. Because of that, the air conditioning installation did happen during the busy season. Earthwise was extremely understanding however, and very tolerant of the delays on our end. When we were finally ready, they installed the system promptly for us. Then, a couple weeks after the installation right in the middle of an extreme heat wave, a short in our furnace -- which had nothing to do with the air conditioning or Earthwise's services -- caused the AC to quit. At that time we didn't know what had caused it, only that we had just installed AC and it was 90 degrees in our house. Needless to say, it was an extremely busy time for Earthwise. Nonetheless, each phone call was answered personally by the owner, no voicemail or non-answers. A very busy technician showed up after what had to have been a long day of work on a scorching hot day, found the short and fixed it (as I stated before, the short had nothing to do with Earthwise and was not their fault). Because of this experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Earthwise to anyone. They are extremely concerned, responsive, considerate, and do very quality work.

Steve was quick to reply and the first to come out and give me an estimate. Out of the 3 estimates I got, he was the only one to actually look through every inch of the crawl space before providing his estimate. The work was done properly and quickly. Will use again for our heating and air needs.

Great. I felt very comfortable with these guys working in my home, they did a great job, they were efficient, they cleaned up well after they finished, and they were really flexible/patient with me as I tried to make decisions about the location and aesthetics of a cold air return grille, and the cold air return was done very well and looks as good as it can be expected to. We would definitely use them again. One note is that I didn't spend any time comparing their pricing with other companies (and my listed cost is a guess from memory), because our furnace died and we needed one asap. These guys shifted their schedule around to get us up and running as quickly as possible, which was so appreciated.

I first called Earthwise in 2012, for an emergency Water heater replacement. I just selected them at that time by a simple search on the computer for close, local companies. That was a straightforward replacement for a reasonable price. At that time they asked me about my air filter and possibly installing a different design. I agreed to consider it when they had more time. A few months later when we both had time. We had that done. It did require some sheet metal fabrication, and they did a nice professional job. the Aprilla filter is much better than the old flat filters and allows better air movement. The I asked about doing a dual temperature zone in my two story house. That was a $3140 job that had major duct-work changes and included adding a Red Link (Bluetooth type) thermostat upstairs. Work great!!! Best thing of all. Then we replaced the noisy 10 Seer air conditioner with the new one. So we have used Earthwise four separate times. We have been very happy with the work and the prices seem in line and reasonable. We would use them again and recommend them to anyone. Update: We are still very happy with the overall result. We did have a hiccup.... Earthwise promptly responded, spent some time troubleshooting and fixed the problem. They came on Sunday! Yes these guys are who I want for my heating and cooling.

Steve's bid was a little lower then the others that we got and he also helped us fill out and receive all of the state and federal tax rebates when it came to doing our taxes. Everyone that came out to do the work was professional and efficient. Steve even went the extra mile when the city inspector required us to put a light in our attic, he had an electrician arrive the next day to install it at no cost to us! He has always returned our calls in a timely manner and has been available to answer any questions that we have had even months later. He even dropped off a filter when it was time to change it the first time. I would not hesitate to use Earthwise Heating and Cooling again in the future. They are a safe, reliable, honest company that you can trust.

From the quoting process through the installation, the experience was a good one. Steve, who's title is Comfort Specialist, took me on a tour of our neighborhood, showing me the installations they had done. We got out the car and got a close look at the materials used, and the installations. After touring our house, he had plenty of options for indoor units with respect to number, size, and location. He also provided good reasons for each option. We chose Earthwise after getting other quotes, and calling references (and looking at Angie's List). When installation day came (actually about two days), they were puntual, finished on-time, and really did the major leg work for getting rebate and tax incentive forms filled out for us.

We bought this house 2 years ago and it was built in 1993. Its a big house, 5200 sq ft, and has to units, one to heat/cool the 1st floor and the second to handle the second/third floors. The heating and cooling has been very inconsistent throughout the house and in the far 2nd floor bedrooms totally inadequate. We have had several contractors and quot;analyzeand quot; how to fix the problem, but it wasn't until Earthwise did they consider fixing the air flow in the house. This was a particularly difficult house since there is no access to the attic space. Ultimately Earthwise recommended that we add a cool air return to the far end of the house that required some cutting into attic space drywall, ducting it, and making the ducting to the far bedrooms larger. This worked perfectly. The new units that were installed are quiet and very efficient. In fact with the better ducting we went from 5 ton units to 4 ton units and they work perfectly. This house that I had almost given up on to be truly comfortable throughout the house is now working like it should thanks to Earthwise. Having just went thru some of our hottest weather I can tell you how pleased I am. We'll see when we hit winter, but I don't expect to be unpleasantly surprised. The workers were prompt, courteous and very friendly. The work was not easy since they needed to crawl through small spaces. We are very happy with the end result and can't recommend Earthwise highly enough. What I liked is they solved the problem rather than just saying I needed new units. I knew I needed new units, and they gave me the best price of anyone, but that they solved the whole problem for me.

The crew showed up within a couple hours of my call which was greatly appreciated since we were under a time crunch due to the sale of our house. They did a neat and professional job and even provided pictures of the completed work that I could forward to the buyers showing them the work was done as requested. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and quality of the work.

They were excellent. They were good. Compared to different four or five quotes they were the best. They were good in working with me and finding out things. They made sure everything was working. They made sure that I got the tax credit. It worked well. Their responsive was excellent. I would recommend to everybody. I would use them in the future.

A first company, who had installed the unit initially, sent out a repairman but I was entirely dissatisfied with his performance. I called a second company and got an estimate which seemed high $1,770. So I called a couple of places to check on their estimates. A few Portland area companies would not come to Newberg (only 20 miles from downtown PDX) but the quotes ranged from $1200 to the first $1,770. That's a $500 price difference for the exact same unit from the same company with the same part number! Big Lesson: Watch home heating and air conditioning prices carefully. Earthwise was a new company to me, and located in Hillsboro, about 12 miles away (the back way). The first person who answered the phone was overly eager to sell some other product, but he did take the message to have the installer call back. After that first conversation I was a bit wary, but my interactions from that step forward were polite and constructive: small business, not corporate. They shipped the part down overnight from Seattle and installed it two days after I ordered it. A crew of three worked quickly. I had not been aware that some units plug into a 220V wall outlet. Mine was hard wired (the electrical wires attach to the unit where the optional cord attaches) They did the adaptation without additional charge. These guys do good work, and are apparently hungry for business.
