Caprice has cleaned for me when I lived in an apartment in town, and was very responsive when I asked her to resume service at my house. She informed me of my options, came within 24 hours to assess the work to be done, and returned a week later to clean my house. Caprice and her associate are doing great work and it is a pleasure coming home to a clean house and see that they notice details and attend to them.

I contacted Caprice after reading the reviews on Angie's list. She came and gave an estimate the same day. She was punctual and professional. She and her associate came back to do a deep clean of the whole house which includes cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, vacuuming carpets, dusting, sweeping floor, and more. We have also hired her to do regular housecleaning. I liked that she communicates with us regarding schedule and work details. So far we are pleased with the work performed.

I would recommend Creative Household Services to ANYONE who asked. I rented a house in Eugene for myself and my youngest son, thinking it was clean and cared for. Unfortunately I didn’t look close enough. The stove required about an hour and a half of cleaning; there were ants all over the place and there were mice droppings behind the stove. Realizing I could not clean this alone, (in early July) I called Caprice at Creative Household Services. Even though she could not get to me that week, she promised she could come in the next week. On Friday of the next week, she and one of her assistants, over a four hour period, cleaned this house from top to bottom – even going so far as to remove the hardware in the bathroom and scrubbing it with a toothbrush. This included the sliding doors on the shower and the handles on the spigots. She removed all the mold from the bathroom and (just as an extra) scrubbed the front walkway. Her assistant, as I was driving away from the house that first morning, was taking the pans from the stove top, spraying them with oven cleaner, and setting them out in the sun to clean; Caprice said this is one of the easiest ways to clean them. Because I have some antiques, I specifically asked that no water be used to dust them; please use the spray or cleaning oil I have for them. Everything was done exactly as I requested. As a result, when I returned home that day, the house was spotless – an incredible relief for a single mom with a 9 year old son who has a severe illness.

Caprice is very professional. I appreciate receiving a reminder the day before the team comes to the house regarding the time they expect to be in the house. I also appreciate notification of any changes in time, as well as the advance inquiry regarding any plans for the day before Thanksgiving Day.

From our first walk-through, details are never overlooked, and any issues are addressed immediately. The quality of service six months later is the same. We are happy not to have to think about cleaning. Every request is handled with proficiency and not forgotten. I could go on, but Caprice sets the standard to a level not approached by other housekeeping services.

Caprice and her team cleaned our house twice/ month for several months. They always showed up when they said they would, and our house was always much cleaner upon our return home later in the day.

We've been so happy with Caprice and her team - the most recent service was this week but they've been cleaning our home since January 2012. The communication is excellent, and the work is done promptly and professionally. We appreciate that they use non-toxic cleaners so we don't have to worry about our kids or pet interacting with harsh chemicals. They notice little things that need attention and take care of them without being asked. We also really appreciate that Caprice give us some ideas for preventing issues (such as ways to discourage mildew in window tracks) and that she points out where something might become problematic (such as a bathroom that needed better ventilation). The team is able to work around our pet without any issues. Overall, it's been a great experience, and we plan to keep working with Caprice and her staff for a long time to come!

Crew of three wonderful people showed up on time . Had 3 hours to do deep cleaning of the house. Started up stairs took about an hour. Cleaned all the blinds, ceilings , crown molding, and base boards. Downstairs two of them cleaned the blinds, base boards, crown molding, ceilings, one of them cleaned the ceiling fan, the light fixture, gas fireplace , shower stall. Everything was very well done,my light fixture is sparkling, and my gas fireplace looks like new. The baseboards, molding, blonds very clean and well done. They all did a super job I was very pleased with them. Very easy to talk to, good listeners. I would have them again. I would highly recommend them.

We do not understand the "high" ratings given to this housecleaning service company. The only thing we can think of is that there are friends and family writing these reviews. We found Caprice very difficult and condescending to work with. She was to clean a rental property in a college town and was well aware of the service that was needed. They were not thorough in their cleaning and refused to clean any area that was not completely cleaned up before their arrival. We paid Caprice and her crew a substantial amount to "thoroughly" clean the house prior to move in and were greatly disappointed in the amount of dirt and filth remaining after they were finished. The final straw came when - as she required payment in full a month ahead of time - we were two days late with her advance due to our travel and she refused to show up. We found it frustratingly interesting that she would expect us to trust her enough to pay her for an entire month ahead of time but one small slip up and she decided she could not trust us enough on a small mistake, to show up for work. On top of this we received two condescending emails "scolding" us for our over site... It left us wondering who was working for her. Her Angie's List ratings and our experience to not even come close to resembling each other!

Cupboards were cleaned inside and out. Appliances were moved and the area behind them cleaned as well as the appliances themselves. Showers, sinks, toilets and tubs were cleaned. Floor furnace vents cleaned. Light fixtures, window molding and window blinds were cleaned as well as floors. Burnt out light bulbs were replaced (I supplied the bulbs). Closet floors and shelves were cleaned. Every room was vaccumed, including around edges. Floors were scrubbed. They did everything I expected and then some.

Caprice and her crew do a wonderful, thorough job. They use 'green' products, are always prompt and professional, and I feel completely safe opening my home to them. Highly recommended!

Caprice and Josh did a walk through of the house with me and took notes about what we wanted done. She emailed later that day with a reasonable quote for the service. We the set up a date. It was a simple and efficient process.

I needed a professional cleaning job on a house I moved out of and am putting on the market. Caprice and Mel were great. Showed up on time for the estimate and gave me a two day time they could come at the end of the month. A day or so later Caprice called back and said they could come sooner as they had an opening in their schedule. They arrived promptly and spent two days cleaning the baseboards, windows, floors, etc. They even remembered to clean the light fixtures which I hadn't thought of! The house looks great and the cleaning fluids they used left a pleasant smell rather than that of harsh chemicals. I definitely recommend Creative Household Services to anyone.

They show up on time. They do the job. They try to use non-toxic products. She has a wide range of equipment. For example, she invested in a steam cleaner to clean grout. She is very business like. The only drawback that I've found is that because she is so busy I can't get a regularly scheduled time. At times she will have to adjust because of circumstances. It's not really an issue because I'm retired but it's just that every appointment is tentative.

The service was terrific; Caprice always called me back very quickly after I left a message; she was able to schedule time to work on the apartment within a few days of me getting in touch, and they showed up promptly and got right to work. I was in the apartment for the first hour that they were working, and the questions they asked indicated how thorough and conscientious they were being. Initially, I honestly thought the estimate was a little high - but when I calculated it out to hiring two people for four hours the rate was reasonable...not a bargain, but this is an area where you get what you pay for and the work was excellent. The apartment looks better than when I moved in, and the property management staff were equally impressed. p.s. I'm not sure what kind of person feels it's necessary to give someone a 'D' grade because they make a business decision about what areas they can serve - something every business needs to do. I'm glad I didn't take that review into account, though.

Called them today to see if I could get service once or twice a month, left message on their voice mail, they called back within 20 minutes and said I was out of their service area even though they say Eugene/Surrounding Areas. I'm in Springfield in the Thurston community which is a surrounding area. Most all service companies from Eugene come to this area for other services, and I'd be happy to pay an additional travel fee if they say this is out of their area. The distance between Eugene and Springfield is 10-15 miles. It would help if they would actually list the Areas they serve instead of just making a general Eugene/Surrounding Areas statement.

Caprice took good notes prior to my first house-cleaning. That was on 9/8/2010. She and Melanie have been cleaning my house every 2 weeks since that date. I am pleased with their work and always look forward to coming home to a clean, neat, fresh smelling house after work on my cleaning day.

Caprice did a great job cleaning everything I asked her to do. She used her own supplies with many clean rags. She took notes on a preliminary visit and gave me a quote on job cost. She did everything I asked her to do and more. She has a wonderful personality to boot! I will call Caprice again.

I am extremely pleased to have found a reliable and high quality housecleaning service. Caprice is very conscientious, accommodating of schedule changes and does a very thorough job. I’ve been using her service every other week for over 6 months and am very happy with the quality of work that is done. I am almost always at work/not home when she and her assistant come to clean, and I'm more than comfortable giving them complete access to my home.

They clean our 1500sf house twice a month. They do all hardwood floors and rugs, multi-part bathroom, change all beds, vacuum and clean rugs, vacuum furniture, sweep up, empty trash, wipe down window sills, entire kitchen (and we cook). Excellent service.

The service is really great. Work is done promptly, quality is high, and there is very good attention to detail. The house is very clean but there is no chemical smell - very important to me. The bathrooms in particular are sparkling. We have two big shedding dogs and there is no dog hair in the house after the cleaning. Communication is clear and easy. I trust this business to help me keep my house in the shape I need it to be.

I recently had surgery for a broken ankle and have been unable to do any work around the house. While my husband was doing his best to keep up, cleaning wasn't one of his priorities. Caprice came to my rescue and spent 2 full days cleaning the house thoroughly from top to bottom. She had a very pleasant, friendly attidude and also respected my privacy. She worked very efficiently and kept at it until the job was done. As a result, I've now hired her and her co-worker to do regular housekeeping for me and am very pleased with their ongoing work.
