A very great crew, on time and very efficient.

Great movers nice guys. Movers came 2 hrs late due to mechanical problems somewhere in their system. We had 3 movers in the morning and only 2 in the afternoon. The move was from a house to a storage unit. I took the most delicate and meaningful things in my car, set everything next to the truck. They moved everything into storage breaking a lovely family glass lamp. I was heartbroken. I was also confused because of the great ratings they received.

From the reservation to the last box delivered, our experience was EXCELLENT! The reservation was by phone and was quite thorough. Specific details were discussed and charges were made clear. Gentle John's called to confirm their appointment 2 days before, and discuss any possible changes. Our crew was to arrive between 8:00 - 9:00 AM , and they did so. Arrived at 8:05 AM. We had a 3 man crew. All were courteous, polite, and hard working. This was a home apartment moving to an assisted living facility. We we had everything packed, and they disassembled the furniture and loaded the truck in one hour. Our destination location was only a few miles away, and after arrival, they were quick to unload and assemble the bed frame and recliners. the whole move, including paper work took 2.5 hours. We had a stellar group of guys! We'll use Gentle John's again in a heartbeat! Such a great experience!

Julio and his crew were on time, worked as an efficient team & took suggestions. They felt comfortable with offering alternative options. I’d totally recommend them.

We used Gentle John’s twice, once to move our main furniture and again for our staging furniture. Both times were professional, efficient and they took great care of our things. Both homes had challenges with stairs and busy, curvy roads. This was no problem for the movers. I highly recommend their services and will use them again if we move.

I am so impressed with the superior customer service we received from Jacob, Ethan and Will. They arrived on time, we went through the house and identified what I wanted them to take. They were so accommodating. I kept added different items for them to take as the day progressed. They never once were annoyed or acted like they didnâ t care. It was the exact opposite. All three were so helpful and professional. I would recommend them to anyone., I was a bit skeptical and did not know what to expect. Gentle Johnâ s was the right choice for us. I will definitely use Gentle Johnâ s again and request Jacob, Ethan and Will. JJ

Movers handled all our furniture with care. There were no scratches, dents,etc. They were professional but also friendly and likeable. They worked very hard during an exceptionally hot day with a great attitude. We would use them again for sure!

It was a easy process and everything was done quick and professionally handled. They were careful with all items and friendly guys. It was fast and cost was fair!

Movers were efficient, competent, friendly and moved us quickly with no disruptions. The cost was lower than we anticipated by quite a bit.

Check over what material you were charged with. I found errors but didnâ t confront the billing as it wasnâ t enough to complain about. Next time Iâ ll know to look over billing better before I pay.

They were fast and efficient but left a few things behind. Very nice guys.

They were all pleasant to work with and listened to my instructions. The move was fast and easy for me and there was no damages or incidents.

Dont use them. They will run the clock up on you by taking excessive breaks and texting on their phones. They are incompetent because they will lose your items and will not provide you with a receipt of services or shall I say disservice rendered .

The crew and truck arrived on time and worked very efficiently to load, transport and deliver our furniture. They used care in handling our goods and we found no damage whatsoever. The billing was as expected and there were no surprises. The entire crew was courteous and very pleasant. We are most pleased with the experience and highly recommend Gentle John’s Moving.

They were great took great care of of my belongings

The young men that moved me were great. Their dy started at 7 that morning. They got to my place at 4PM. They were very tired and did not finish my move until 10PM. The company charged me overtime which I think was wrong. Plus how can the company charge me over time and won't pay their workers overtime. That is so wrong and isn't that against the law? That is 15 straight hours for them.

These were somewhat cocky team leaders, young, inexperienced, overworked and just careless. They said they could pack for us but it was an 8000 dollar absolute nightmare. As if they tried their best to do a bad job on purpose. Foods from pantry mixed with clothes or anything they could grab. Sugar dumped out into a toaster and other appliances. Unmarked or incorrectly marked boxes and all put in the wrong rooms. Talked to management about a reduction in costs due to the super poor performane and time management. No success.

My only critique is I wish they would have connected the bed and couch before they left.

They were satisfactory, but, left some damage on the walls and did not assemble some pieces of furniture that I had included in the bid. Especially - bunk bed.

They did a good job. Little or no damage or breakage. Nice people

FANTASTIC! They really saved me. My previous moving company cancelled on me late in the day and could not accommodate until the following week. I called Gentle Johns the next morning and they moved me the same day which rarely happens. Estavan, Alex and Stetson were exceptional. I will personally request them in my next move. They even wrapped certain pieces that I didnâ t do such a great job on. VERY VERY IMPRESSED. They packed my storage unit perfectly with room to spare. Gentle Johns is the only moving company I will use from here on in.

A huge thank you to Andrea, Bill, Isaiah and Andy. After another moving company did a poor job I took a chance on hiring Gentle Johnâ s and I am so glad I did. Andrea and Bill showed up on time and were efficient, thoughtful, careful and professional. I especially appreciated the extra care they took with moving my piano. Very disappointed in the service and forthrightness of this mover. During our packet, the mover snapped a mechanical arm on our electric bed. He brought it to my attention and told me he had spoken to his manager and it would be repaired or replaced. OK, things happen and if it gets repaired or replaced...no big deal. Here it is now over a month later, lots of delays from the people processing the claim (nothing happens unless I track someone down) and I finally have an offer...$60! This is for a newer, $1000 bed. The offer feels like a slap in the face after being told it would all be taken care of. As I said, mistakes happen. The measure of a business is in how they respond to their mistakes. Clearly, that character trait is lacking from this service provider. I highly recommend finding a different company to assist with your move.
