Knowledgeable salesperson (Sean) talked me out of installing a heat pump, which would have been much more expensive and less comfortable (blows lukewarm air instead of heated air), which was what other companies had recommended. His logic was that a second story needs very little heating in the winter, but needs a great deal of cooling in the summer, so the primary focus should not be on providing the world's most efficient heating system, but rather to put in an adequate furnace and a strong air conditioner. Installers were very capable and efficient, came back to tweak something the City inspector didn't like, and then Sean came back to set up thermostats and configure the "Internet of Things" modem that talks to the thermostats wirelessly and lets me see the house settings on my smartphone from anywhere in the world. Hendrix' bid was about 50% of the most expensive bid I received, and about $3,500 less than the second bid.

It went flawlessly. Very conscientious and did excellent work with a 10 year labor guarantee. Very nice to deal with., both he and his wife, who runs the office.

Hendrix Heating services our rental house in Corvallis. They are always very responsive when something comes up. During the cold weather, the entire circuit board and peripherals went bad on our heat pump. The kids were without heat so Hendrix came out immediately, identified the problem, and got the heat back up and running. They do all our seasonal check-ups for heating and A/C as well.

It went fine, as it has for the past several years that I've used this program. The providers are punctual and polite, wear foot coverings, tell me when they are turning off the heat or AC to test it, and work quickly. They were also good when I had the furnace and the heat pump installed several years ago. There were some problems with the heat pump that took some time to figure out, but they kept working on it. Also, my furnace is in a very small closet, and they managed to work with it.

Fine with one exception. I did not get nearly the full State tax credit I was told I would get by the company, because I was only a part year resident. Therefore the work cost me $700 more than I anticipated.

Hendrix took care of everything--permits, subcontractors, paper work for rebates, etc. They were great.

We had several bids for a new heat pump. Sean of Hendrix heating was the only one who diagnosed the problem with our old heat pump correctly. He also provided good unbiased information comparing various brands of heat pumps and did not pressure us to select the brand that they carry. Sean was very helpful in helping us to select the right size of heat pump for our house. The installation of the ducting for the air handler was of high quality as well as aesthetically pleasing. All of the Hendrix employees were very professional and complete the job on time. They were also very helpful in submitting the energy rebates and other documentation.

They were very professional. They took care of everything that was needed because there was electrical work that needed to be done so they took care of all of that. I was pleased with the service. The price was average.

They charge $100 for a tune-up. They check to make sure everything is properly. They cleaned the furnace. They checked the vents to make sure it was operating properly. They did the original installation. We were looking for the installation from a local company, but they never called me back. Hendrix Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd have a good reputation. They were very good and very responsible. They put their little booties when they came inside the house.

It was excellent. We've had heater and air conditioner put in with them, and we haven't had to wait every time. They're just great service to work with. They gave good information. They're willing to work with us. The heater went out and I think they were out that same day because we have no heat and they fixed it, so it was good.

From setting up the appointment for the estimate, through the work being done and the final inspection, everything was handled professionally. Everything was done as asked for, everyone was on time and worked quickly. Clean up was done. It was a good experience and the AC has been great!

We interviewed 2 companies before choosing Hendrix Heating & Air Conditioning. Hendrix, by far, had the best price and feedback. We cannot recommend this company and its employees highly enough. They were efficient, helpful, timely, and did exactly what they said they would do--and more. Sean was thorough and knowledgeable and went over current rebates and tax credits with us He scheduled us quickly and they showed up when they said they would. The installation by Jeff was done quickly and neatly. When a problem arose through no fault of theirs (a neighbor complained the outside fan blew on her carport), they went the second (and third, and fourth) mile to get it corrected. We were out of town during this and, if they had not been so helpful, we don't know what we would have done. They promptly came out again to turn the outside unit 90 degrees to satisfy the neighbor and Marni was so good about calling to let us know how the correction was progressing. This was a unique experience for us--good old American workmanship and responsibility that is rarely found today. You can deal with this company with complete confidence and we recommend them highly.

They put it in very quickly and they did a very good job. Service after the sale is the best. Everybody recommended them, so we tried them. We heard about them from friends. They may not be the cheapest on the block, but the job gets done right and they stand behind their work. I would highly recommend them.

The initial home visit for the bid was very informative and helpful. Sean did not try to sell us more than we needed. We asked about the filtration system, he didn't push it at us. Their office then set up the installation schedule and were willing to work around a week away that we already had scheduled. The actual installation took most of a day to complete. The installers were very courteous and explained what they were doing and answered questions. They also took time to explain the new thermostat and how the system operated. In addition to replacing the old heat pump they put in entirely new piping under the house. This was part of their standard installation. Sean then returned a few days later and helped set up the online connection for the thermostat. He also brought all of the paperwork for tax rebates. Their office completed all of the paperwork for us and then gave us copies completely ready for submission. They also sent in the energy tax credit rebate for us. Throughout the entire process everyone we have come in contact with from Hendrix has been very personable and highly professional. We highly recommend their services, without any hesitation.

Hendrix did an excellent job with installation and we have had no need for any follow up. The installation technician was thorough, friendly, and very customer oriented. The installation took about a day and a half which was within the estimate given. The technician even came back to meet the inspector and ensure everything was approved.
