M Brothers Construction

M-Brothers did a fantastic job for us. They provide quality work using quality materials. They are professional, courteous and are very easy to work with. We needed to have the siding replaced quickly due to a paint job and they worked us into their busy schedule. They are attentive to detail and answered all questions plus gave additional suggestions. If you want a calm, peaceful and quality project then their team is exactly what you need. I would have no hesitation in using them again in the future or referring them to others.

These guys are real pros. They are excellent tradesmen. Used the best materials that matched existing siding. Superior craftsmanship including finished carpentry work around windows inside and out. They treat your home as they would their own. They were on time, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves daily. I would highly recommend them for any general remodeling project. We have reengaged their services to replace two exterior doors and additional windows. We also expect to use them next year for additional work including a bathroom remodel. M Brothers explained in detail what they were doing and were generous and patient with their time to ensure we understood the work they were doing. We are totally satisfied with their work and I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to neighbors and friends. The end product added value and beauty to our home.

The crew was completely professional, skilled and cheerful Neat and tidy all through the job.The Sherwin Williams Resilient paint looks rich and thick. Amazed at how much they did in a day and how good everything looks. More than ordinary. These guys are good.

Oleg and his crew were timely and professional. They communicated well and made adjustments to the decking/ columns as the work progressed, Very responsive to requests for adjustments and some changes. The final install looks very nice and professional, much better than the original deck that was put on when house was built.

Once the day was set, tM Brothers arrived on time and started working. They were well organized and professional in removing and replacing the siding. The new materials estimate was very accurate--very little material was left over. Excellent clean up. They were very careful about picking up all boards, nails, etc. I would use them again.

I worked with Olag of M-Brothers and his team. They helped me define the scope of the project and gave a competitive bid that we accepted. They showed up on time and like most projects we added a couple of things as I had changed my mind and he accommodated those changes and charged a fair price. They communicated regularly through the project on the status and answered my questions as they came up. The quality of workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up - which is not always the case. They also completed the job on time! I will certainly use them again!

Removed all siding, cleaned up all mess & installed replacement material. Did in a very timely manner. Craftmanship was great down to the last detail. Very professionally done. We would recommend this company to do any type of work that they do.

I am someone that normally does things himself since it will save me money and I feel like I will care more about the work than someone that I hire. This was a big job and I knew that it would take me much too long to do by myself. Beginning with the quoting process, Oleg was very professional and easy to work with. He returned our calls, answered all our questions and was very patient with us when we couldn't make up our mind on things. Alex and Eric did most of the work. They were also very professional and easy to work with. Alex also had some good suggestions that we went with. If anything was not to our liking, they made sure it was fixed until we were happy. They had someone else do the painting but we have no complaints. We went with M Brothers because we felt like we had the best connection with them and our reward was a great experience. We felt very comfortable with them through the entire process. I can't say that they are the cheapest, but I can say that the quality of work that they did and the end result was excellent. We were very satisfied with M Brothers and would not hesitate to use them again.

This is the 4th (I think) project we've done with M Brothers, and as was the case with all previous projects, we were very happy with the results. Note that this project was relatively small. We have used M Brothers for both big and small projects in the past (see our review for deck work for a big project). We appreciate that M Brothers takes small jobs like this, works them into their schedule promptly, and executes them with the same attention to detail and quality as they would a bigger job. This particular project served as a great chance to see M Brothers respond to a situation where things don't work out as expected (something I guess we should expect as our houses get older). In our case, the door supplier screwed up the measurements on the door and sent us a door that was too small. Oleg and crew quickly worked out a solution and got the door installed at only the cost of a few extra dollars worth of building materials. Even with some extra time lost to the surprise door size, M Brothers finished the job in relatively short order. The result looks very sharp and is well sealed all over. Consistent with all previous work by M Brothers, we are happy with the result and expect to use them again for future projects.

Oleg Malofeyev and his brothers did an exceptional job in replacing our old decks. Oleg was very helpful with the design of the new decking and provided material samples as well as suggestions that we visit the showroom of his supplier. In order to provide the best support in changing the decks from cedar to PVC, they added additional joists to develop 8"centers instead of keeping the 16" centers. That increased structural support allowed a solid base on which to lay down the solid PVC decking. In demolishing the boards from one deck, the brothers discovered extensive dry rot in the glue lam that supported the deck joists. They needed to be very creative in removing the defective glue lam and replacing it with a new chemically treated beam. Replacement of the beam was not in the original bid for the job, but since they didn't have to add a new layer of siding to the house adjacent to the decking, they offset the two items and honored the original bid price. The brothers were very professional, prompt and well disciplined in doing the job and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. As a side bar, we had employed the M-Brothers around fifteen years ago to replace our synthetic stucco house siding with Hardiplank. When we discovered that they also did decking, it was an easy choice to tap there services again. Our only reason for reducing their "responsiveness" rating above was their lack of returning to shim up the newly placed joists against the support beam. They eventually did return and complete the shimming job to our satisfaction.

M Brothers Construction did a great job. They did high quality work and they were fast. They came in on Friday and finished Saturday morning. The workmanship was better than the original work. The M Brothers do all of their own work. There are no crews, sales people or front office. Oleg was really easy to work with. We were pretty particular about what needed to be done and Oleg accommodated all of our requests and did exactly what he said. He was always available to answer questions and always returned our calls. The M Brothers are genuinely nice guys that do great work. I would highly recommend M Brothers Construction and would call them again for our next exterior house project.

We're very happy with the quality of M-Bros finished work, our interactions with M-Bros and M-Bros follow-up support for their work. Our deck and doors all look great, and have earned M-Bros more business as friends have visited. The deck job was the biggest job, involving a large, high, multi-level deck and a fenced in area below. The M-Bros crew pulled off the job quickly and the result looks great. Working with Oleg and Alex has been a pleasure. We found them to be very honest and reliable. They were very helpful in making recommendations to control the costs of our projects. They and their crew worked quickly and respectfully. They have also been really good in their follow up support, coming back and tweaking a few items that e.g. loosened up after a short time. We plan to hire them again.

Oleg noticed that the old siding on the second story was installed too low and it touched the shingles on the porch roof. He said this allowed the siding to remain damp and age prematurely. He suggested new flashing in the areas he replaced and when he installed the siding, he raised it just enough that it didn't touch the roofing beneath it. This was a detail I didn't know about, but I'm glad he did. He also came out when he said he would and charged me his bid amount exactly. There were tiny holes on the cedar shingles where he stood on the roof of the porch and I assume they were from the cleats on his boots. I don't know if there is any way to prevent this, as the the worker must use something to keep from sliding off the roof. I know from experience that cedar shingles are a lot more slippery than composite shingles and maybe they require extra traction. The poke marks were shallow and invisible from the ground. I only saw them because I leaned out a window to inspect the new lap. Overall, the job was just what I expected, maybe better because of Oleg's knowledge of proper placement and new flashing.

We hired M-Brothers to replace our main deck which is pretty large at 36ft x 13ft. Oleg was great to work with and was prompt in getting us a quote, and proactively kept us in the loop in regards to the actual start date. Once the project started we were pleasantly surprised that the job was not disruptive to our lives at all. The crew was able to get the deck done with very little need to come in and out of our house and they ALWAYS cleaned up after themselves...each day. The crew was extremely respectful and very friendly which was definitely a plus. I would definitely recommend M-Brothers to anyone looking for a new deck.

I highly recommend M Brothers Construction. My husband and I are building a new home and hiring all of our subcontractors. I knew M Brothers had worked on a couple of homes at the Street of Dreams, but I didn?t know much else about them. I am so happy we chose them to do our siding! Everyone at M Brothers was professional and courteous, but more importantly, their craftsmanship is beautiful. I had several conversations with their estimator, and he had great suggestions about what would work (and look) best. I printed out photos of columns I liked, and they built ours to look exactly like the ones in my picture ? I mean perfect! You can tell they are experts in their field and take great pride in their work right down to the smallest detail. Everything looks terrific, and our house was no easy task; it is built on a slope, and one of the walls is nearly 60 ft high. I certainly wouldn?t put my stamp of approval on every subcontractor we?ve hired, but these guys are exceptional.

They were great to work with! They came when they said they would and finished the job quickly. They also did an amazing job cleaning up after they were done. I would defiantly recommend this company!!

They did top quality work. All of the materials were custom cut on site, and were cedar custom quality materials. They tore out the back and front decks, and built brand new decks, as well as did new siding on the whole house. They were very nice, polite, and easy to work with, and answered all questions of concern. They increased the curb appeal of our house immensely. We were very satisfied with their work.

Oleg and crew were awesome! Super responsive and did all the work on time. This was a complicated job as the house is on a very steep hillside and required 40ft scaffolding. M Brothers NEVER flinched. They found a significant amount of dry rot, requiring replacing several large supporting beams and priced the work very fairly. They also did/managed all of the general contracting work: drywall replacement, painting (inside and exterior), fence repair, etc. Finally, Oleg was wonderful about staying in touch and on top of the project. He returns text/phonecalls promptly, so I was always on top of the job progress. A really great bunch of guys to work with!!!

Job well done.... M-Brothers would remove siding and repair dry rot as needed. They would come and show me the damage and carefully explain what needed to be done. ( the dry rot repair was by an hourly rate ). They installed all the necessary flashings which were lacking in many deck locations. This is just one example of what they did on our house. In my kitchen they had to remove large windows (window wall 18 feet long), repair the dry rot, re-frame, sheet rock, and paint the interior walls and trim. In the same location oak hardwood floor had to be removed and reinstalled. The M-brothers had someone install new flooring that had to be patched near the windows and you can hardly tell where it was repaired. Our house looks like new now. We have received many compliments about the repair/ remodel. We would highly recommend the M-brothers for any work needed on your home.
