Very professional job.

Fantastic. I learned about Todd Clifton from a neighbor (and Angie's List member). I called Todd on March 1st--he came out to my home the next morning (March 2nd)--emailed me a detailed diagram and itemized estimate within a week ((March 8th)--and performed the work on March 10th. You can't ask for better, faster service. All work far exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended Todd to two friends...and would recommend him to anyone.

Todd and his crew dug out the bermuda and several inches of dirt, replaced the dirt with good soil, dug a deep trench around the areas and put in a cemented stone border that looks very nice. They put down landscape fabric and mulch and cleaned up the area when they were finished. It looks exactly like I wanted and I'm very excited to have the bermuda cleaned out and a preventive border in place. This was a a lot of work and I thought they did a great job. I would definitely hire them for additional projects.

Todd was extremely easy to work with. He was very prepared to discuss plant and rock choices and took care to be sure we were happy with the plan. The work went very well and Todd and his workers were very careful to protect our turf and other areas while they were working- especially as it was very wet underfoot. He also very good naturedly took the time to make requested extra adjustments to the irrigation system once the work was finished. When we considered upgrading the landscape we pulled a number of $1000 out as a likely cost. Todd was one of the only landscapers who bothered to come out and talk to us about the project. We liked his plan and ended up spending considerably more but are very pleased with the result.

I had Todd perform a couple of projects for me. The first project consisted of completely sodding my backyard and overseeding of the front yard. The second project was redoing the landscaping on the front of my house. The lawnwork went well. Todd had some dirt delivered and filled in a few low areas. He then had several pallets of sod delivered and he and his crew spent most of a day installing the sod. At one point, he ran out of sod before completing the backyard and he went to the sod store and bought more and came back and installed it the same day. In the front yard, he overseeded the existing fescue and put down multiple bags of a compost like material on top of the seed. The seed came up nicely. The second project consisted of tearing out old shrubs and bushes in the front of my house and installing new plants, bushes and small trees. The ending result was excellent. I've had several neighbors tell me the front of the house looks so much better than it used to. Throughout both projects, Todd was friendly and had many good ideas. He gave me a detailed quote before starting including a drawing of the project and pictures of the types of plants he was going to install. While, I imagine I could have found a less expensive alternative, I wasn't disapointed in the final outcome and think I got my money's worth.

We didn’t use him. He was very nice and he came out and gave us estimate basically on re-plotting our yard. It was right before winter and so we couldn’t put that in place. We haven’t had the work done as yet. What we would do is get another quote from him again. Our house is on a quarter of an acre and he was going to do the front and back yard. The estimate was for $3000. He was very nice and he seemed to be professional and very efficient. He got the quote to me that day or the very next day. He was really fast.

He did a great job and we believe the price was fair. He came right away. I would definitely use Todd Clifton and Company again.

I had no concept of what I wanted other than what I had was ugly and half dead. Todd and I talked about my opinions of plants and several neighbors landscapes. He provided a detailed design that exceeded my expectations. He finished the job on time and left the yard in great shape. It looks great! I appreciated his communication and attention to detail. I actually spent a bit more than I anticipated but it was well worth it. Todd and his crew are excellent. I will definitely use them again in the near future.

Todd the owner was a very pleasant. He discovered some issues in my french drain that he couldn't quote me on. But I feel it was an honest increase and he took care of it. He was quick and everything seems to be in order. I would use him again without hesitation. To be honest I didn't do much research on price.

No work done. No meeting with company, no correspondence from company.

Todd came out to speak with me in person about what I wanted and he provided an estimate a few days later. I gave him the go-ahead and he arranged to come the following week. He and his team arrived promptly and were nearly finished by the time I got home from work. They cleaned up after themselves and carted away all of the shrubs and branches that they had pulled out or trimmed.

They are good. I would recommend them to others. Their quality of work is good.

After identifying Clifton Landscape on Angie's List, I went to the firm's website and contacted the company by email on Monday, April 11, 2011. I received a call from Todd Clifton that day and we set up a time to meet at my home the following day. When we met, Todd was helpful, professional and very polite. He quickly understood exactly what I wanted. I received his design and a detailed estimate by email two days later. When the initial estimate was a little more than I had planned to spend, I proposed making one change in the design and using some existing plants that I was digging up in my backyard. Todd made a counterproposal that saved an important element of his design, but met my cost requirements. On Saturday, April 16, 2011, Todd and his crew showed up, did the needed soil preparation, installed the accent beds and laid the sod. They did a GREAT job! The following Monday Todd came by to check that everything was working properly and that the plants were getting enough water. I couldn't be more pleased at the responsiveness, the quality of the work, the promptness of the service and the overall professionalism anc care that was shown.

Todd arrived on time, and set to work immediately. It was a cool, misty day and the job took about four hours. When he was finished, he gave me guiidlelines as to how to care for my new area. This is in the front of my property.It looks great from the street as well as close up. He cleaned up after himself--I had nothing to do but enjoy. I will definitely use his services again in the future!

Very promp service and very pleasant to work with. Work took approximately 3 days. Everything was done well. One problem was that a very large area of sod died. I called and Tod came out immediately and checked the problem. It appeared the weed killer applied to clear the area was still active and killed the new sod. He overseeded but that did not take well. I had to repeat the overseeding myself that fall. Otherwise I was very pleased with the company and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Todd Clifton talked with us about what we wanted, which was a new look to the front of our home. A few days later, he called with a design for a garden area and flagstone walkway. The drawing was detailed and clear, and Todd discussed with us the specific plantings he recommended. Once we approved the plans, he collected roughly half the estimated funds in order to purchase supplies and began the project the next day. It turned out more beautiful and striking than we could have imagined. The weeping fir, Japanese maple, and shrub roses, along with the smaller surrounding plants, make for an impressive display. The curving walkway of gray flagstones complements the garden and is pleasing in its own right. Todd spent a great deal of time in arranging the stones so that they would create a satisfying appearance. The following day, he returned with the fescue sod for the front lawn. He did a good job in laying the sod, but the quality of the product was substandard. It was so full of crabgrass that I spent several hours pulling enough to half fill a 50-gallon trash can. This is the reason for the B grade on price and quality. Everything else was A+ and my wife and I are very pleased with the result, especially the garden and flagstones.

Todd contacted me as we had agreed, when he had an open slot, and was able to come over immediately! This is the second time I have used this company and it was as excellent as the first time. He came exactly at the time he said he would and went the extra mile in his services. One of the additional things I appreciate is that he is willing to deal with our budget constraints - we are able to do things in stages and this doesn't put him off. I can't say enough about his services and I HIGHLY recommend him to you without reservation. Great Guy. Great Service. Great Prices.

Todd Clifton came out and discussed drainage problem I was having on the side yard of my home. He suggested a french drain and re-sodding. He e-mailed a detailed proposal the next day and I called him and scheduled it. He and 2 workers installed the drain and sod and cleaned up the site. They worked all day and the heat index reached 116 degrees. My side yard looks amazing and my next-door neighbor sent me a note congratulating me on "a problem well solved".

I got Todd's information from Angie's List, had a phone conversation with him and explained what I needed. He then met me at my house. He was very personable and professional. He looked over the project and gave me a very fair estimate. When he came to do the work, he arrived when he was supposed to and did a very professional job. Everything looked great.

My tiny job was of no interest to most, but Todd was responsive and professional and treated it with respect. He came on time, and even told me that small jobs can be helpful in his schedule. His skill was obvious as I watched him work. He was clean cut, worked with vigor, did the job with perfection, and kept to the estimate. We will be using him for future projects that will be much more extensive (a landscape 'remodel"). I feel very comfortable recommending him.

I had a small natural area adjacent to a sidewalk on one side and my neighbors weeds on the other. I got tired of fighting all the weeds and asked Todd to pave the area in. We communicated by both phone and email. He showed up when he was supposed to, was professional at all times, and did the work as we agreed. The estimate was right on. The area looks terrific now and there have been no drainage problems. It's a pleasure to be in that area now on firm footing and without having to pull weeds and volunteer trees every three seconds. I plan to use Todd for future work.

We had a variety of landscaping ideas and Todd listened and explored options, offering ideas. He developed a couple of plans and estimates. We decided on a few projects involving the sprinklers, doing the railroad tie retaining wall, and drainage improvements. In doing the drainage work, some big surprises occurred but Todd easily took them in stride. They resulted in different tasks and Todd readily adjusted the billing in a fair, understandable way. I'm hiring him again for other landscaping needs.

Received a recommendation from a friend and Todd returned my call promptly and then came to look at the work to be done. Provided an estimate during the visit and committed to return to do the work within 5 days. Completed the work on budget and on time. Excellent attitude enjoyed working with him and his crew.
