+ -1 moreMike (service tech) quickly determined the problem was with a connection of a plug on the control board. After multiple attempts to get a better connection, he removed the board and examined it. He showed me areas of discoloration and explained it was caused by overheating. He found one spot that was clearly burned and showed that the burnt spot correlated with one of the pins of the plug that seemed to be shorting. Unfortunately it meant that the entire board had to be replaced (a large expense). Mike was awesome, he didn't mind me watching him work, was quick to explain what and why he was doing something. I enjoyed his honest candor, and his ability to explain his process. The work was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely hire Air Solutions again. Mike also recommended a service plan, which we will most likely enroll.
Description of Work: Diagnosed problem with Heat and Air. Determined it was the control board. Replaced the control board.

+ -1 morei returned home from a short trip out of town to find my house very warm inside. This was not the first time this has happened to us. We thought the problem with our system was the frequent power outages we experience with OG&E, when the power goes out and then comes right back on it would cause the breaker for the A/C unit at the power box to trip. This time however the unit refused to reset and come back on. The serviceman pinpointed the problem quickly, replaced the part and answered all my many questions. Even gave me some tips and suggestions to help prolong the life of my A/C unit. I was so impressed with Mike, I decided to join their "comfort package" that brings them out twice a year, to service , clean and startup the unit that is appropriate. Great people from the office phone staff to the service technician that came to our home. I would most definitely recommend this company to friends and family!

I would never buy a home warranty from Bok!, For 20 months We paid $42 per month for the Total Warranty trusting it was a great company, we were Greatly disappointed in both BOK mor tgage corp and Especially in Total (totally ridiculous) Warranty!
Description of Work: I chose Air Solutions over Airco & Air Assurance because of the Brand Carrier over Lennox. Carrier is the only unit that dehumidifies constantly without the compressor running! I now can set my thermostat at 74 instead of 70 because the humidity is gone! Nice crisp cool air even though its 110 degrees outside! I also bought the heater and allergy air filter system! Air Solutions Rep. Josh explained everything very well and he was very professional, the company delivered on all the promises Josh guaranteed! They beat the price of both Airco and Air Assurance by hundreds of dollars, even with the extra cost of my allergy system! My second choice would have been Air Assurance, but they don't sell Carrier Units but their rep was very professional too. i felt Airco did not put their best foot forward, the rep said if we are close then let us know? The no lemon policy and service warranty is excellent! I bought a home warranty through my mortgage company BOK the compa sled Total Protect it should be called totally ridiculous warranty. The service tech they had me use for the initial evaluationof my dead systemsaid correctly that I needed a new AC system However they delayed calling in their eval and they were very poor in communicating The warranty company Causing 5 hot days without AC delay Also they wanted me to agree to pay additional uncovered charges of over $500.00! There was no way I could trust their service company to put in my new system based on their poor customer service! I was offered the chance to Cash Out instead of taking the risk of having their service company do the replacement Their Cash Out Option was a maximum of $1,509.00 totally ridiculous!, After I fax in my paid in full l$9500 invoice! I faxedit in today and was told it will take 4 weeks to get my reimbursement check! I will believe it when I see the check in my hand?! I do not trust a company that says the value of a new ac independent replacement is only worth $1509 !!

Description of Work: The actual charge for the service and check of my AC was $75 which included 2 additional pleated filters. I opted to purchase the service agreement, as I haven't had my furnace attended to in a while, and don't know much about it. Nathan was very gracious to answer my questions about the heating unit, thermostat, and of course the upkeep on the AC. They will return in a few months as per the agreement, to service the heating unit. He offered the payment plan, with no interest charged, so I feel relieved to have the AC cleaned and checked and under control. He called before coming to my home, and actually made it sooner than anticipated, but that was good.

They sent two crews the first day and then one crew the other two days and got it finished. The crew was highly respectable and highly respectful for your property. + -1 moreWe requested an estimate to replace our downstairs HVAC system. The salesman for Air Solutions came to our home. He was very professional and gave us a complete quote. We got two other bids from other companies but decided to use Air Solutions since they installed Carrier systems which had a better rating on some of the websites we looked at. Also our son who used to be a HVAC technician recommended the Carrier system. The quoted price was comparable to the quotes from the other companies. In addition, Air Solutions provided some extras such as annual service on the system for 5 or 10 years depending upon the system. The installation was scheduled. The installers were on time and did an excellent job removing the old system and completing the installation. They system has performed very well and reduced our energy consumption. The house is much more comfortable since it has a variable speed option that helps maintain an almost constant temperature in the house. We are very pleased with our purchase.
