I have used a bunch of contractors since I have basically remodeled my entire house. This is one of the best, if not the best contractor that I have ever dealt with. I know two other people who have used them for siding jobs and there were extremely happy with them. When I told one of my coworkers (who had recently used them) that I was thinking about using them, he said "Don't think about it, just use them...Trust me." He showed me pictures of his siding job, and it turned out fantastic. I did hire them, and it has been one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. First of all, Kevin is one of the most professional and nice guys you will ever deal with. Also, they use some great products. The Everlast siding that I got is built super tough and durable and it looks great. I expect it will last a very long time. I chose the Chestnut color, and I couldn't be happier with the choice. I think it turned out great. It matches the paint and house very well. When giving an estimate, Kevin spent time answering any questions that I had. He also worked with my insurance company because they didn't give me enough for the part of my old siding that had been previously damaged. He was able to get my insurance to give me more money for the siding which was great. Kevin, did all the work of faxing the estimate and talking to the insurance for me. I didn't really have to do anything. I only got to meet his crew for a few minutes, but they were very nice. They also did a good job of keeping things cleaned up. I have a driveway that runs under part of where they were replacing siding. They made sure there were no nails on the driveway. This was great since I have to drive on this daily. From start to finish this was one of the easiest processes I have ever had dealing with a contractor. As far as quality goes, the product appears to be an excellent product. The siding was installed very straight and flat. All of the trim looks like it was installed correctly and very straight and clean looking. I'm talking about the J channels when I say trim. I'm a perfectionist and when the job was done, I was extremely happy, but I had found some very minor things that I asked Kevin about. He came out and address every one of these things to my satisfaction. Most other contractors wouldn't do that. Kevin is one of the most responsive and professional and punctual contractors I have ever dealt with. I don't even like writing reviews and hardly ever do it, so for me to give him a great review like this means a lot. If I could give them an overall score of higher than an A I would.

They didn't do a proper job and I'm going to have it redone. The windows were installed fine. But the installers didn't say that the wood that they were installing it into was no good. It has to be replaced. So it didn't really help much with keeping the weather out. The sills were no good. It is an old home and the framing was rotted in a large number of cases. They should have said something before they did that.

We wanted to update our storm windows (our old ones were impossible to clean and had lots of aluminum ) so we started looking on Angie's list for good companies. We were surprised to see that Baldwin Enterprises did windows. We looked no further because they did siding for us about 5 years ago and were a great company to work with! Kevin came and showed us the windows--gave us some ideas--and we moved forward with our plans. The installers were professional and gave us plenty of heads up when they had to change the date because of rain in the forecast. They were friendly and proficient and finished the job earlier than expected. They cleaned up everything-- sweeping, vacuuming, and washing windows. Today Kevin looked at the job and collected the payment. We know that if we have any issues at all, he will take care of them. A fantastic company!!

I had an ongoing problem with leaking windows starting in August 2014. I spent months trying to get Home Depot and Lowes to help me, and then trying to get the manufacturer to honor its warranties. Nobody wanted to honor anything for the 71 windows installed into my custom home at substantial cost. I called several window and glass companies, two siding places, and a general contractor to repair my windows. Nobody did repairs, only replacements. I finally decided to give up and have them replaced, even though I'm on a very tight budget. It was a painful decision to make that caused me a lot of stress. I came to Angie's List to look at window replacement companies who also did siding, since I thought there might be a siding issue also. Baldwin Enterprises was highly rated, and people gave positive reviews of Kevin Baldwin's character and expertise. So I called him. Kevin came out as promised and was prompt. He took his time looking at the windows and speculating about solutions. Unlike every other contractor I spoke with, he stated I didn't need expensive replacement windows, but repairs could be done and he had a man who could do it. I nearly cried with relief. The repair fellow arrived on time and worked most of the day, carefully removing siding and repairing the problem that was caused by faulty siding and flashing installation around both windows. He installed trim that the Home Depot and Lowe's installers had not used (and should have), so fixed the problems caused by other installers. The windows look and function perfectly. He cleaned up after himself, including also cleaning up sticky tape residue and caulk my sons had used to temporarily repair the window. Kevin Baldwin and Baldwin Enterprises are the real deal. I will use him again and would trust him with a bigger job. I learned more about windows from Kevin in a 20 minute conversation than I learned from 2.5 months of talking to people at the big box stores. This is the kind of person you want working on your home.

The salesman, Don Cox, was very knowledgeable and assured us that the installers are very good at what they do and professional. I could not believe the outcome! It was amazing to see the windows in. They are beautiful. The best sliding french doors I have ever seen. We have concrete floors and when they installed the doors, they filled in some cracks in the concrete around the door area. Did not expect that. We tell everyone about Window World.

We've owned this home for only a few years, and knew we needed to replace a few of the windows. Since we did the same thing at our last home, we had an idea of what we did and did NOT want. We didn't want a slick salesman who would ignore our needs and was only interested in adding every possible upgrade available. We also didn't want any out-of-work carnival people installing them. We know that, because that was our experience with our last home. This time, we trusted Angie's list to help us find someone better. Success! Kevin is a very nice guy, who actually cares about people. Spending a lot of money on home improvements is always a little scary, but we recognized so many names of neighbors and friends that he had worked with in the past, it was a lot easier to trust our gut and work with him. The installers were a father/son team and they were very professional. I was working from home while they did their work, and they didn't disrupt me at all. They were quiet, and completed the job very quickly. They didn't destroy any windowsills (unlike our last experience) and cleaned up everything as they went. If part of my review has made you nervous about having windows installed, good! There are companies out there that are only interested in getting your money, with no concern about quality or customer service. This is NOT that kind of company. This is my first review for Angie's list, and I don't know exactly what to say, other than "I would use Baldwin Enterprises again, and recommend you do too".

We could not have been happier. Jim and Ed were always punctual, hard workers and the quality of their work was perfection. Great recommendations from Kevin on helping us determine which siding and colors to choose. Would definitely recommend Baldwin Enterprises and would use again if needed. Overall A+ rating.

Kevin Baldwin was great to work with through this process. He first provided a quote in 2013 and he was my #1 pick for when I decided to replace the siding. I contacted him in 2014 for some siding replacement (not the whole house) and he was able to recall the information and the original quote. He completed the work promised and on time. I was selling the home and was asked by the buyer to have a few other areas replaced prior to closing. Kevin provided another reasonable quote for the additional work and was able to complete the additional work very quickly. I highly recommend Baldwin Enterprises.

From start to finish Baldwin Enterprises was a great experience. Kevin is amazing!! So professional, funny and easy going. Gives you his opinion and then lets you make a decision. The crew was also amazing. They had a system and knew it well. They installed 16 windows in less than a day. If thats not impressive, they cleaned up after themselves. They layed down tarpes as they went. They vacuumed the window sill. I was so impressed!

Mr. Baldwin came to the house to measure and give me a quote. His price was in the middle of three others I had received, but I chose them because he was professional and courteous. The door was ordered - took about 2-3 weeks to come in, then they called me to schedule installation. Installers came right on time and had the job finished within an hour. They completely cleaned up any mess and hauled off the old door.

They showed up on time. Built the patio cover just as I wanted. Cleaned up after themselves. This is the 2nd time I have used this company and have been completely satisfied both times.

Project mgr arrived on time and was friendly, courteous, and professional. Explained in detail what they would do and provided a written estimate on-the-spot. Very helpful. However, of 3 companies I got estimates from they came in the highest. I ended up going with a less expensive option. I would consider this company for future work based on my experience with them.

Kevin was very honest, genuine, and educated in the business. If it weren't for another company cutting us a better deal, we would have gone with them!

They've just been very attentive. They listened to all concerns. They've gone above and beyond, really. They've helped us out with some shutters. I would recommend them to other people, so far. So far so good.

Beware! Beware! Beware! I am shopping around for windows. I went into Window World because my neighbor has used them. Also, they advertise $189 for a window. So I walk in their and the salesman is friendly enough. He starts off by saying the cheapest window is $349. Huh??!???! What?!??! I am trying to change my reactions to people. Trying to be nice. So I let him do his sales bit. Oh my are their add ons! If you actually buy the $189 window you will get nothing! When I got home I added some of the add ons. The cost of windows are actually $394 each. And I am sure I am missing something. Be careful shopping here. He is going to tell you how honest they are because they break the cost down. Also, each window is $189, unless you have a large window like I do then that is more money. Do I get a discount on the 2 feet windows? I am not going to use them and their better housekeeping approved window flyers are going in the trash. Along with their flyer for the door and french doors.

This company is one of the best I have work with. Attention to detail is great and the installers went out of there way to make sure the project was done to our satisfaction.

Over all the job couldn't have went any better. Typically I am pretty picky when I hire work done, but really have no complaints about the finished product. It took roughly 3 weeks to complete, but there were several days of bad weather that prevented them from working. They did a good job of keeping the work site clean. I would highly recommend them.

This is a great company that does very high quality work. I was trying to decide whether to repaint the eves of the house or have siding installed. Mr. Baldwin came out and gave us a very competitive price and we discussed options and cost. Since I wasn't in a hurry we decided to have the work done during the fall of 2013. The work commenced in early October and it did take longer than I expected (6 weeks due to some unforeseen circumstances with the installer). Nevertheless, the installer was extremely nice and did a fantastic job that I could not have been happier with. I can't say enough about the quality of the work. Everything was cleaned up after the job was finished. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for siding or gutters.

About a year and a half ago (fall of 2012 probably), I used Baldwin Enterprises to install siding on my home and supervise the installation of gutters. Over time, my wife and I have been slowly refurbishing a house that was in pretty bad shape when we bought it. Of all of the contractors I've used, Baldwin has left me the most happy. My siding looks great over a year later. The gutters work. When I called the company recently to ask about making a small change to some door trim so I could install a storm door, the owner remembered me and gave me all of the info I needed over the phone. Overall a very good experience. I have no complaints.

Removal and installation of hail damaged siding and adding additional insulation. Started later than anticipated, inadequate rain protection which caused inside leaks, only one person would show up to work and would only work a few hours, when came time to pay and I presented the coupon from Angie's List site was told they only do those when presented up front prior to bid but would accept it if I was going to be mad about it!!!! Paid bill in full.
