Description of Work: They came out and wanted to charge us an additional $150 to switch out shower head. We ended up telling them to leave and called another Angie List member to preform the Task. Service call and labor was less than a $100

Description of Work: new electric panel and 2 outdoor outlets. This was not a good experience at all and I would give F for each category except for the sweet girl that takes their calls was their saving grace. I felt so pressured after being told they city would shut off my electricity unless I had them make the changes to my system needed as they said my current panel box was not legal. I kind of lost it when they quoted me over $5k to bring it up to code. Then I was coerced into forking out another $300 for an annual service contract so they could discount the $5350 quoted down to $4350. They had problems with being there when they said they would and had to come back several times to correct problems of theirs. One of their guys even put in an outdoor outlet for me and didn't ground it. I truly wish I could give a good referral for this company but my conscience does not allow it. I hope they have corrected all their internal problems and no customers besides me have suffered.

Description of Work: I purchased a $29 service call with a $50 credit for service. I needed 2 light bulbs changed that I couldn't reach and a thermostat replaced on an electric roof vent. My biggest complaint was he didn't want to just change the light bulbs, he wanted to assess the problem. I knew it was just the bulb!! Just frustrating how much time he spent trying to tell me it COULD be something else. It seems like they charged $140 and took off $50, so I paid $90.

Description of Work: I purchased a "$200 work of services for $99" from this company for electrician services. I independently purchased the necessary items to replace existing under counter lighting. I did not purchase any products from this company. The two company reps appeared on time, were very pleasant and performed the work to the extent of the value I had purchased as determined by their price menu. Their prices were so outrageous I did not have them do any additional work. If you choose to use this company be sure to ask for the menu of services and associated costs. The reps had a book of prices for each electrical activity you could imagine. I was not advised of this "list" before they arrived at my home. I made the mistake of not inquiring as to the costs associated with each item before purchasing this special. The cost to replace i.e remove the existing under counter light fixtures (2) and replace them with identical new light fixtures was $200. They only removed the existing fixtures and wired in the new fixtures to existing wiring... this project took about 30 minutes. I had several additional items that I wanted to have repaired but found another company to do that work. The work performed was done well but I would not recommend this company due to their excessive pricing structure.

Description of Work: This company (Angie's List) took the money but contractor never called or came. I contacted the Angie List and they don't seem to respond. I never received a confirmation but the bank records show that the $29 fee was collected.
