They were very professional and were genuinely concerned about me driving the vehicle for safety reasons when I called about bringing it in. They called and explained what happened with bolt falling off and quoted price before proceeding.

All done, we're good to go. I felt like the Receptionist, Shop Manager and the owner were very knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt like we got good service in a timely manner. This was our first experience with this business, and it went very well. I'm sure we'll take our vehicles there the next time they need fixing.

Some of the gauges on our truck did not work.  It could have cost us $800 to replace the panel, but Fleet saved us a lot of money by reconditioning the panel.  All gauges are now in fine working order.  Also loved that we could drop truck off early in the morning on the way to work & leave our keys in a locked drop box which made it very convenient for us.

My car was overheating.  It was smoking (from the hot water that was leaking) so I took it to the closest place and they said the coolant hoses were worn out and needed to be replaced.  That cost me around $200.  Then, two weeks later my car started overheating again.  I  chose Fleet from the online reviews on Angies List and called Fleet.  I explained my previous repairs and they said come in and let us take a look.  It turned out that the receptacle that holds the coolant was old (I have a 2000 Mercury) and had developed a small crack that was leaking the coolant.  They replaced the receptacle and nearly 9 months later I have had no issues with overheating.  I only waited  about two hours at Fleet.  I was at the other place ALL day.  Fleet said the hoses may have been worn and needed replacement, but the main issue appeared to be the receptacle.  I was impressed with the quickness of arranging an appointment with Fleet and the professional way I was treated.  After examining my car, the mechanic explained the issue and how she would correct it along with a fair estimate of the cost.  She didn't try to sell me a new air filter or oil change (unlike the other place), but she did say if I had any questions or other issues just give her a call.  I will use Fleet should I have any other car problems.

Needed seal and water pump replacement on my Toyota Rav 4.  Two new car dealerships gave price quotes that were roughly double Fleets.  Work was completed in 3 days as promised.  They gave me a loaner car for the cost of gas used.  Everyone there was very knowledgeable.  I will go back for any future vehicle maintenance.

I thought it was going to be the fuel pump. However, the Fleet Manager insisted that the computer would tell them what needed to be fixed.  They also drove the truck around after the second visit to make sure the sensor was the real problem.  Excellent service and well priced for car repair.

Took the car to them they did the work on time and called me with an estimate before starting. Only reason I gave them a B on price, I will always go for a lower price.

Fixed everything in one day.  Excellent reception staff.  Knowledgeable mechanics.  The owner test drove with me to find the noise problem source.  Whole heartedly recommend to anyone.

It went very well. They were easy to work with and honest. They kept me updated throughout the day on what was wrong with my car, what charges I might expect, etc. I had no problems.

They're fair.  The receptionist; she's really the shop manager is smart about cars as any man I've ever met and I can tell what's going on with my car...  She'll tell me on the phone how much she thinks it will cost and before they do a thing they'll call me back and tell me how much and tell what would be done.  They're that good.  The owner of the shop, he's just as sweet as it can be.  They're good and loyal.

If we think that there is something wrong with the car, we will take it in and they will inspect it without charging me. They are awesome and their prices are reasonable, but I get good value. I do not mind paying them, because they do a good job. I know that they have done the work and they are talented. I feel like they are honest, if they check it and cannot figure out what is wrong with it, they will tell me. I trust the men and women that work there.

Everything was great, very professional.  My daughter's truck would not start.  Fleet picked up the truck and took it right in.  I had suspected a bad fuel pump or clogged filter.  Within a couple of hours they had found the problem, which that the gas tank supports were rusted through, causing problems with the fuel line.  They had it fixed that day and took payment over the phone.  They e-mailed me a receipt and sent a copy by mail.  All my dealings with Fleet were very pleasant, and the price for towing and the repairs was reasonable.

As always the personnel at Fleet were very professional and timely. My transmission had been slipping and they determined what the problem was not. They then referred me to a transmission specialist for more in depth analysis.

I have used them for twenty years. They provide good service on the vehicle. They are very honest. They don't try to up sell you on anything you don't need. I also took another car to them, and they rebuilt the engine. They are great.

We spent $2000 on that work. We liked that they did a good and professional job. They did not do what did not need to be done. They gave us an estimate as to when the work would be completed and finished it a day ahead of time. I would recommend anyone to them that needed transmission work done.

I needed to purchase a new battery to replace the Interstate battery that was in my pickup when I bought it a year ago. AutoZone had tested the battery and said it was bad, but they did not carry Interstate batteries. In order to get any pro-rate credit for the old battery, I needed to go to an Interstate dealer. After checking online for an Interstate dealer I found I could either drive 15 miles to the Interstate Battery store where I had never done business or about 4 miles to Fleet Auto. I'd previously had good experience with Fleet and wanted to take my business to a shop that had treated me right in the past. When I arrived at Fleet I confirmed with the receptionist/cashier that they were an Interstate dealer and told her I needed to purchase a new battery. She told me a new battery was $103.00. I asked her to confirm the battery was bad before I bought a new one. She did not say anything about a cost for this service, only that it would be a minute or two so I moved the pickup from in front of the door to a parking space. I did not expect to be charged for testing the battery since in the past I had brought a Buick to Fleet for a charging system problem and the owner had checked it over completely without charging me anything. I also can't recall ever being charged anywhere else for this kind of service. A tech took a handheld tester to my pickup, but then came back for a jump start kit and drove my pickup into one of the bays. I was surprised when he drove the pickup inside since I had not authorized anything beyond checking the battery, but I expected this to be at no charge so I didn't say anything. I don't think the jump start kit was necessary since I had just driven the pickup there - it was slow to turn over but would start if you were patient. He came back to the counter after 15-20 minutes and quoted me $130 for the battery. When I asked what the extra cost was for he said it was for testing the battery and the system. When I told him no one said anything about a charge for this service he went to the shop and got a woman that I'm assuming is the service manager. She then told me the extra cost was for installing the battery. When I told her I just wanted to purchase a battery and would install it myself, she said it didn't matter and that I would be charged for testing the system even if I installed the battery myself. I pointed out that I had not asked for the system to be checked and that no one had said anything about a cost for doing so, but she ignored that information and said she would see if a credit was available for the old battery. So they now have my keys and my pickup in their bay, and it appeared I had to pay them their extra money if I wanted my truck back. I was getting pretty angry, so to avoid a scene I just told them to install the new battery and went to their waiting room. After a while the service manager told me the battery was installed and Insterstate authorized a $15 credit for the old battery. She also told me I should replace the battery cables since the clamps were in bad shape, something I knew was not true since the positive cable was barely a year old and I had just cleaned the clamps myself. She also said, "sorry for the misunderstanding." When I paid the cashier, she seemed to think everything was ok just because after the credit the final bill still came out to $103.03, even though this still included a $20 fee for checking the charging system, a service I did not authorize and they did not advise I had to pay for. And I'm not sure how a $15 credit offsets a $20 fee. I took my vehicle to Fleet because I wanted to take my business to a place that I trusted. If I hadn't been so trusting, I would have stopped them when the tech took my vehicle inside. That trust was further abused when the service manager felt the need to win $20 instead of putting the customer first. For my part, $20 may not seem like much, but when you're unemployed every penny counts. I don't expect to use Fleet again since making a buck any way possible is now their top priority.
Response from FLEET AUTO REPAIR & TRANSMISSION
"Tried to reach the member at the numbers I have on file on two different occasions there was no answer. If I could reach him I would be glad to refund him the $20.00 dollars we charged for testing, prorating and installing a the new battery."
