Installation was quick and went well. One man did everything and he did a good job. Also, when picking the door, the Lowe's employee that helped me get everything picked out was really helpful.

the order did not have a way of acquiring the proper water hoses when I placed it on the Lowes website And the deliverer/installers said that "because I did not order the hoses they could not install the washer". They basically dropped it in my garage and left. were also a bit irate at my dad who was present at the time. I had TRIED to order the hoses but THEIR WEBSITE made it impossible! - I later had to find some proper hoses my self and install the washing machine myself as they did not do anything! Also, the order was in their computer but the order was not recognized at all for weeks. The delivery was also tardy in addition to the installation not being done(at all). I called the Local Moore store to ask what was taking so long to deliver my machine to my home. The woman first put me on hold and then told me they could do nothing, it was my "fault for misusing their website" but what it truly was; is they did not want to check at all! That or this woman was computer illiterate. The woman was also incoherent and did not speak plainly on the phone and hung up abruptly thereafter. It was not "my fault" I am a computer hardware specialist! I am certified! I can operate a web order as easily as she could order a hamburger at the Sonic drive through! I know more about computers than most computer experts! They were pretty eager to debit my credit card of the order on the website! Bottom line, the order did not get fulfilled until I later called the main HQ of all Lowes and they were helpful and articulate and did, at least get something done. They contacted the local Moore store and scheduled a delivery/installation. The installation was not done, however, as they had no hoses on their truck-I had offered to pay for a set of hot/cold hoses they said "they could loose their job if I did that!!!-what it was is they had none on the truck and did not carry any on a regular basis, a big truck like that should have some little water hoses for a washer! But they said "they could not get hoses, and did not allow me to buy them from them directly as "it wasn't in the paperwork." is what one of the men told me ,he also said it very loudly raised his voice uncalled for for certain!
Description of Work: the service was supposed to deliver and install a washing machine and hook up all of the necessary pipes.

The biggest thing that they need to do is staff more people. The people there are trying to do the best they can. There are just not enough of them there.

I was helping my mother and step father remove debris from there property. Three trucks full of Lowe's employees pull up and offer to help since there was only three of us with over 3 acres to clear and my parents are in there sixties with bad knees we were delighted. However all they did was get out of the vehicles walk around for a few minutes and then start to leave one person said to my mother as they were leaving my boss said we have to go somewhere else. I however noticed later on that they had gone one street over because there was a news crew filming. I can say that I am never going to buy another thing from Lowe's as long as I live. If I can't find it somewhere else I will go without.

Up to now, my experience has been quite good with them. It is kind of remarkable for a big chain I think. They really work very closely. They were prompt in having someone come out and make the measurements. The particular panels that I needed were in stock. They were quite good about calling and saying that they will have one tomorrow and they will have the other the next day and then, calling and saying they have all the parts and they will come next Friday to do the install. The door is a better grade of door. It is not their loss leader door; I think it is their most expensive door. I think I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: For another house that I own, it is in the process of getting some new sliding doors. Lowe’s would be doing the install and it would be this coming Friday.

They did a good job and the doors look nice. The seal is very good and the installation went very well. I've noticed that Lowe's contractors are a higher grade than their competitors. They just seem to be more specialized than generalists, although you may end up paying for the quality. Their work went well and I'll definitely consider using them again.

The experience was excellent. They had a company that was registered both here and in Oklahoma, and they had an office here, they drove up here and fixed our roof. They fixed it during an Ice storm and did an excellent job. We had an ice storm the morning that they showed up, there was still ice on the roof, so they prepositioned all the stuff, and when it melted off a little bit, they went up there and took care of it. They then capped everything off literally, everything was dry when they put it up, they did the roofing, the faucets and they did the gutter work. They scheduled it all out in one after the other.In fact the gutters and faucets that I have were an older type. They were larger, then what would you would get commercially, and they went and bought a machine, that would put the detail work back in it, and fix the gutters which were larger than the others, and they made it to fit. We scheduled our work to where we got people we knew, then we talked to them, before they came out, they would send their supervisors out and we would tell them exactly what we wanted. The insurance company would tell them what they had, and they would tell us what the insurance company required, and that worked out well for us. I have to give Lowe's full credit for it, because the young lady there stayed with us the whole time, and she came in within 2 or 3 Dollars of what the insurance company said, but she came in with quality stuff, not the average grade stuff the insurance company was putting in. We were quite happy with their work. The guy had to buy the equipment out of his pocket, and that was spectacular. Lowe's give 10% discount to retired military, and so they gave me a discount on everything. They gave me good quality stuff. The service was outstanding, the quality was outstanding, and they were here when they said they would be here. I am super satisfied. They had to special order my roofing, and they had it moved to a warehouse, and they gave me the numbers of the warehouse. They have replaced my doors as well.

Lowes sales representative was very knowledgeable and helpful. visited with him on three occasions. The first time we had a ton of questions and did not know what brand appliances we wanted. We had done some comparative shopping so we had some prices in mind. We visited a second time after we had our list narrowed down. The sales rep advised us to come back in a week when there would be a sale going on and prices would be even lower. He had already worked up a package discount for purchasing multiple items, something most every place will do. In the end he saved us about $1000.00 over all. We were very pleased with our sales rep. Now for the delivery and installation. The installation of the microwave was done by a 3rd party contractor that Lowes has a contract with. I will discuss this contractor first. We couldnt have been more pleased with his professionalism and quality of workmanship. He was very cautious and did a very good job, very quickly I might add. Now for the Lowes delivery/installation employees. I do want to say that they did a very good job of getting the appliances in the house without damaging any doors, walls or appliances. One of the guys I have no comment about. He simply loaded and unloaded the truck. The main installer was a young man who did not hesitate to explain that he was the best installer Lowes had and the only one that knew what he was doing. In the same breath he ranted and raved at what a crappy company Lowes was to work for and how he couldn't wait until he could move on to another job. He went on and on and on about this. Since the microwave was to be installed over the glass topped range, we were concerned about installing the range before the microwave because of the possibility of the microwave being dropped on the range and causing damage. The delivery guy eagerly agreed that this might be best. He said that I could easily push it into place and that was all there was to it. This did sound reasonable however, the microwave installer said that was a crock. He could easily install a microwave over an existing range. He does it all the time. The Lowes guy just didn't want to be bothered. Also, the Lowes guy advised us that it would be best to leave the plastic and packing on the refrigerator for a couple of hours. It was stainless steele and would come off easier after setting a while. That did not make sense to me but that was really no big deal. I was more concerned with the range. As it turned out I had to install the range myself (even though I paid an installation fee). This included installing an anti-tip bracket in the concrete floor and leveling the range once put into place. Not that easy a job by yourself. Bottom line ... never never ever let Lowes employees install anything. I had previously purchased a waterheater from Lowes and the 3rd party contractor did an amazing job. Just DO NOT allow Lowes employees to install.
