When Richard came to give me an estimate he went into great detail about what needed to be done and why. A family friend who had experience in installing his own French drain was here too and was impressed with the things Richard was suggesting to end the flooding in my yard. Since my friend was as impressed as I was I had decided to hire Richard on the spot. But I had scheduled an appointment with another company for an estimate and I wanted to be fair and see what they had to say. When the other man arrived he didnâ t spend much time checking out the problem and gave me a quick estimate. When he didnâ t mention some of the things Richard had recommended I told him what Richard had suggested and why. He said that those suggestions were good and that he could do the same things too. I felt like if he hadnâ t even considered those things til I told him Richard had suggested them that his work and end results would be less than desirable. I hired Richard and he and his crew have done a great job. There were a number of unexpected problems that popped up once work had begun but Richard had a solution for each and every one. They were meticulous in their work habits and left my property in pristine condition. They even did a couple of handyman things I needed done that were not related to my French drain. I am completely happy with my new French drain and I would highly recommend them if you want top quality work. I can see why he has so many 5 star reviews!!!

The job consisted of sealing the side and back areas of the house along the foundation... placing perforated pipe and two sump pumps to include French drain to discharge to the street....I was kept in the loop during the whole operation and was very pleased with professionalism and timeliness .The project was designed to displace ground water and prevent floor vents from water.The project met my expectations.My neighbor asked me about my satisfaction with this contractor and hired them for a project .Very pleased with outcome.

I had a severe drainage problem that was so bad I had to replace my driveway. After it would rain the bottom of my driveway looked like a creek bed. They kept me informed and most importantly the work and equipment they used worked like they said it would. It also looks much better with decorative rocks. I would have no problems recommending them to others

I am very pleased with the work that was done to remove water from around my home to stop foundation damage. The home was built with no thought to remove extra water and I had to replace flooring when the water leaked into my home. It has rained for about three days now and the drainage is working like a charm so I am pleased with work. I will use them again if needed.

Hard working guy and knew his stuff

Richard reached out to me immediately to discuss what I was looking for and what type of drainage issues I was having. He walked me through all circumstances and really informed to help me to make the best decision. During a rainstorm he even texted me to see if I could send him pictures of the flooding to confirm the plan we came up with. His team came out only a couple weeks later after our initial conversation to get the job done. One day to install a French drain and 3 downspouts from the backyard all the way through my front yard. Him and his team worked diligently and Richard kept me in communication during the project. I waited longer than I should have to do this drain due to worry of who to hire. I’m so happy I found Blue Collar (due to these reviews) and made the project seamless and reassuring. I haven’t had any issues since it’s been in place. Would highly recommend. Very knowledgeable, honest, up front, and loyal to getting what you need done efficiently.

The drain definitely works my backyard has not flooded at all since they put it in. One thing you have to remember is installation depends on the weather so you may have to wait a while.

His crew arrived a few weeks later and completed the work in one day, finishing up during a significant rain storm. They cleaned up the work site and left no evidence that they had dug a trench through my yard. I especially appreciated that their crew were respectful of my yard and they were nice, polite and clean cut young men.
