Took some doing ( my clean out access was buried under my deck) but they found the clean out ran a camera down the line found the clog and cleaned it out. Took just over an hour for the work so I was back to my scheduled day just a couple of hours late which was great.

Description of Work: I had sewage coming up in my backyard and within seconds the plumber diagnosed the problem CORRECTLY. The City had a backup. The plumber found the man-hole and confirmed his diagnosis. He told me to call the City, didn't charge me anything (even though he came out on Sunday) and left. I called the City, they came out the same day and within minutes the problem was solved. I was very impressed that he diagnosed the problem so quickly and didn't charge me anything. He was actually the second plumber that came out, the first one charged me $125 and told me I needed to dig up the pipes. Whatever. If I have any problems in the future, I am DEFINITELY calling Mullin Plumbing.

Description of Work: This was the second time that Mullin has been to my house in the last week. We started with a plumber hired by our home warranty company. They determined that we had an improperly installed shower drain, which of course wasn't covered in the warranty. We decided that it would be better to hire our own plumber to do a bid on repairing the shower. Tom from Mullin came out and was incredibly nice and professional. However, he determined that our problem was much more involved than a simple shower drain. He called Jason who came out on Monday. Jason ran a video camerea down our lines and cleaned out some of our vents. As it turns out our plumbing problem is bigger than we thought. Jason wrote up a bid for the repairs and explained what everything was. He spent more time with us than was necessary. If it wasn't for Tom, Jason and Mullin plumbing, we may not have discoverd the problem for a very long time. They were very professional,courteous and honest. I plan on calling Mullin for any plumbing issues I may have in the future. Good job guys.

Description of Work: I had a sewer drain in a rental that needed opening. I had been dealing with this problem once a year for many years and I had decided it was finally time to replace the sewer pipe. First I had to have the drain opened and clean the sewage out of the basement before the tenant moved out in protest. Mullin sent a man and he wanted to call a second man to help him carry the machine down to the basement. I told him there was no need in that, I was able-bodied and capable of helping him carry the machine to the basement. I had done this many times over the years and I reasoned having another man come out would only increase the cost. It didn't take long before the water and some of the sewage went down the floor drain in the basement. The bill was more than $40.00 above what I was quoted over the phone, but that didn't concern me. I knew I could protest the increase and it would be removed by the people at the main office. It took me two days to finish cleaning the basement and less than two weeks later it was flooded again. I told the people at Mullin that I wanted an estimate for replacing the sewer line, but first I needed the line opened again. They sent two men over and we discussed replacing the line and we decided that they had to put their camera in the line which would allow them to locate exactly where the line was on the property. At first I authorized them to do this at $255.00, but I changed my mind when I learned they also planned to charge me for opening the line again. They had misunderstood, amazingly they thought the line had just been opened that morning and it needed to be opened again and they planned to charge me again. They said that if there were roots in the line they could not warranty the work for any amount of time. I decided that if I was going to pay someone to open that line it wouldn't be Mullin. I called the Mullin office to complain about what I considered to be an outrageous policy and they sent the same person they had sent originally and we carried the machine back down the stairs again and again cleared the line. There was no additional charge for this service and before the end of the day I was cleaning the basement again.

Description of Work: Mullin Plumbing Inc came out for an emergency repair when we accidentally put a nail through the hot water line. They welded the copper wire back together and patched up the wall.

The repairman, Matt, was very courteous and cleaned out the drain and told us about the problem with our drain pipes. Matt told us that our drain pipe had a 90 degree turn in it and that was part of the problem. We had done some upgrading in our bathroom recently and were planning to get a better and raised height stool. Matt advised us about the type and answered all our questions .
