Air Assurance

The job went very smoothly. A very neat, clean job from beginning to end. Buddy Rose their plumbing Service manager came first and gave an estimate. The technician, Chris, arrived within the hour and the job was completed in about 21/2- 3hours. They also found a bad flu vent leak over our garage hot water tank and included that in the total $350.00 charge. We were so grateful. You can't go wrong with Air Assurance! Their service men are the most courteous, well trained, clean cut men we have ever used. I can't brag on this company enough! We have used them for our heat and air service for over 20 years! This was our first plumbing job with them since they just started that service this last year. They will be replacing our hot water tank in our laundry room soon. The Rampey's run an honest business, and they truly care about their customers and their homes!!

The technician checked out the system and in a very short time found out that the level switch had detected a clogged drain. He then in a very courteous and professional manner proceeded to clean it out and reset the system. He checked out other details and he made sure that the system was operational as fast as possible. Fortunately no materials where needed except for some pipe dope to fix the drain line which had to be disconnected. Even though if he would have been unprofessional he could have changed out the level switch and I would have been none the wiser. I would like to recommend any one that wants to use Air Assurance to ask for Mr. Brad Martin since he did an excellent job. Furthermore after having prepared the invoice and checked again to make sure everything was working well, he refused a tip for a job well done. Which proves that he is not only courteous, professional but as well an honest and upright gentleman, of which there are too few nowadays. I would suggest were possible to ask for his services if possible.

Great service, quick and clean install. Air Assurance was able to get me over 5 thousand dollars in rebates. I got the best unit they had for yah price of their economy unit. They were very cordial over the phone, provided a free consult, and told us everything that they would do, Once they arrived (early), they set to work immediately while they awaited delivery of the hot water heater. Their anticipated time to completion was just under the 4 hours quoted and they emailed me the receipt when processed. They're very veteran friendly. Would have no problem referring them to anyone.

This was a Saturday. Called the number and was treated well from the start. The dispatcher took the information gave me the name of the tech that would call and shortly he did. This seems mundane but I had tried 3 other well reviewed plumbers and could not get to a person. Chris called, gave an estimated arrival time. ( 20 minutes) Arrived and we were clog free in less than 30 minutes. After, he left me with good advice on what to watch and what to plan for if this is recurring. Did I mention that this was a Saturday... Awesome.

Brad M checked my unit and everything was good. He also did the mold spray on the coil to help keep mold from affecting the unit and our house. He arrived on time and was very professional and pleasant to talk with.

After taking a shower, valve would not shut off water. Turned water off at main and called Air Assurance at 8 am 4/24/2014. Brandy set up service call for 10:30 same morning. Called at 10:40 and said tech on his way. Mr. Waterhouse arrived about 15 minutes later and checked shower. Explained valve too corroded to repair (and showed me) , said he would have to go thru wall from bedroom to cut out old valve and replace with new. After explaining all costs and getting my approval, Mr. Waterhouse left to get new parts and was back working within 15 minutes. Job completed, area cleaned up and all old debris picked up and removed by 12 noon. He even vacuumed floor where he cut out wall for repair. New valve works great. Mr. Waterhouse was fast, efficient and very professional. Would recommend to anyone.

I had been trying to get my air conditioner to kick back for almost four hours before I made the Big Deal purchase (after I had installed a new thermostat myself). Within an hour of making the purchase, I took another look at the unit and corrected a wiring mistake I had made while installing the thermostat. I called Air Assurance and cancelled the Big Deal service call as it was now unnecessary. This is no reflection upon the company, as I just corrected my own error and they were professional while I was on the phone with them and they were good people to deal with. I have contacted Angie's List for a refund of the purchase.

Brad M. was our service tech this day. He arrived right on time and went straight to work. He was very thorough and professional as are all the techs from Air Assurance. When he was finished he reviewed the service he had performed. I can always trust Air Assurance to do a great job!

I have been a customer of Air Assurance for almost 20 years and can't say enough good things about this company. They have been doing a spring/fall checkup on my A/C and furnace practically every year during that time. I can't recall ever having a bad service call over the years. In the past, I bought a furnace and later an air conditioner from them. On at least two occasions that I remember, my air conditioner stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year. I called late at night and both times my unit was repaired the next morning. I know that one of those times was a Saturday night/Sunday morning. I would definitely recommend this company.

Came out timely...gave an email estimate, which was a little more than i wanted to spend, but i was impressed by their professionalism. They came out on time and finished all the work, cleaned up the little mess they had made without having to be asked and called back later to insure that everything went well.

I was impressed by the consultant/sales rep that came out to review our needs and propose alternative solutions. Was very thorough and courteous and listened to everything we said, explained options and pros and cons and explained work to be done. This is a large house with three HVAC units and zones. House is approx. 14 years old and existing equipment was purely builder grade and obviously getting near end of life. I had hired Air Assurance to fix a poorly performing unit a couple of years ago after being dissatisfied with several other vendors over the years. I liked the quality and cost of the repairs, professionalism, and sense of fair honest dealing and have been using them ever since on their "plan". Last summer, I had a leak in an inside coil on one unit and had to have it replaced. Not long after that, had a leak on the outside coil on the same unit and had to have it replaced. They showed me where and how they had found the leaks and pointed out some "issues" with how things had been installed and future problems that might or might not develop as a result. They did an excellent job on both replacements in the heat of the summer on an emergency basis and I was very pleased. They had noted that another unit had been slowly losing Freon and they had re-filled it but I know those leaks never get smaller - only larger. They said to just be aware of it, it wasn't really bad yet. So when the tech came for the winter plan service this winter, he mentioned some deals available and noted the house was really dry inside - which we knew. That caused us to asked for the proposals on updating the other two systems. We went with the most efficient units and are so far very happy with our choice. I have to say, I think the work was far more than satisfactory - they did more work than I really had expected and they did it extremely thoroughly, neatly, and professionally. Honestly, I've toured a lot of new homes with enormous price tags and I've never seen such detailed, neat work even on a new installation yet these were replacements - and one of them was previously retrofitted by another company from the garage to the attic due to leaky slab vents and that installation was pretty sloppy. They didn't settle for what the builder or previous installer had settled for; they enlarged the return ducts so they could be more efficient, replaced fiber-formed plenums with sealed metal boxes, added dampers for each duct, put pipe heaters on drain lines, enclosed the humidifier in an insulated metal box, plumbed it all the way to the water heater in the garage, improved the condensate drain system, sealed all of the ducts with silicone sealant, etc. The installer said he was doing things like he would do his own house. I believe it. And all was done per the original contract except that, at my request, the installers added surge protection to all three of my units. Afterwards, an inspector from the company came by and inspected the whole project. He found one thing that could be improved and arranged for them to return and make the change. I recommend this company completely and without reserve. And I have no doubt that if anyone ever did have a problem, that a call to the company would result in it being fully resolved. They really and deservedly take great pride in their excellent work. Sure somebody else could have probably installed the same equipment for less but there is more than just the equipment to the quality and effectiveness of the system. How it is installed is as important as what is installed. The new systems are unbelievably quiet - had no idea how noisy the old ones were until now - largely due to the enlarged return ducts and the multi-speed blowers. And the temperature is so constant - no cycling up and down constantly on very cold days and with the humidifier, we are just so much more comfortable and enjoy our home so much more. It was not a cheap undertaking but it was worth it - it significantly improved the quality of life in our home. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with the work these guys do.

They are clean, prompt and tell the truth. I know my units are 'builder's grade' and aging. They have advised me on fixes that were worth it.

We have a maintenance plan with them for check-ups of the furnace and air conditioner twice a year. They thoroughly clean and check them for any issues. We also had them install the Air Knight REME air purification device in the supply duct to help eliminate problems with the indoor air quality by reducing air pollutants, odors, mold, VOCs (chemical smells), smoke, viruses and bacteria. They are very prompt and courteous every time.

Did an outstanding job and filed for PSO rebates for me. Very nice and knowledgable. Sales person Jay was excellent. Not pushy just helpful.
