Pro Cut Landscape Development

Took quite awhile (over a week) to get someone to come out and gather info for estimate, another week to receive estimate, yet another week to get return phone call to schedule work and then week and a half wait for actual job to be proformed. The actual day services were performed went beautifully. The workers were prompt, professional and quick. Rocky start great outcome.

The only problem was with responsiveness, but they were experiencing an unusually busy time of year because of the weather. I will contract with them again.

Excellent experience. We bought this Angie's list special for 5 yard of mulch installed back in Feb or March.The company communicated with us right away about the purchase and scheduling the service to be performed. They did a great job and on the date I requested even with communicating about it months before. I look forward to using them again next year for this service and other possible services in the near future. Great job Pro-Cut!!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with this company.They arrived on time with 3 men working for 3 hours to spread 10 yards of mulch through the front & backyard.When the mulch was in place the crew cleaned up sidewalks etc.. The men had to stop for a very short amount of time until a little rain shower passed over and then went back to work. I have already given this company as a referral to friends and plan to use them again myself.I have friends in my area that also purchased the mulch coupon and they were also very happy with the work.

The company communicated very well with me in the months leading up to "the big day." The crew arrived punctually. They were VERY professional! Two of the employees unloaded the mulch from the truck and delivered it to various flower bed locations throughout the front and back yards while the third employee handled the installation. They did an impeccable job cleaning up when they were completed, which, by the way, took less than an hour from the time they rolled up, until the time they left. Would I utilize Pro-Cut Landscape Development's services again in the future? In a heartbeat!!!

I purchased a Deal of 5 yards of mulch and scheduled it. Company answered all questions, set the date I wanted and were very responsive. The morning of the delivery, I called and added another 4 yards of mulch to my order. No problem. The delivery was on time, the 3 men who came to install the mulch were polite, professional and quick! The yard looks wonderful and was well worth it. I will definitely use Pro-Cut in the future. They arrived at 9:30A.M. but were supposed to be here at 8:30 A.M. and did not call to let me know they would be late. Did a good job on pruning in front of the house but not the sides or back.Left branches hanging from some bushes. Looks like hurried work. Did not cut back branches to bud or leaf as I thought you were suppose to do. and on one bush did not cut away dead branches at base. Also cut hose of one of my sprinklers and did not tell me. I thought I was going to have to get topsoil to fill up the hole of the bush that was removed but there was no hole.Later I realized that they must not have removed the roots. I don't know if that will be a problem in the future.Talking to the gentleman who came out I was told I would have to get topsoil to fill up the hole so I expected the bush to be removed roots and all. There were two workers and they left at 1:00 P.M. and took a lunch break.So that was not 8 hrs. The workers were courteous and polite and cleaned up everthing except as mentioned.

Overall I am very happy. Their prices are high... but the quality of work is high. However.... I do NOT feel the guys "hustle" like some of the other reviews. (Maybe it was just the crew I had, dunno.) They seem to give you the full time contracted, and the requested work was completed to a very high standard.

We were very unhappy with them. They are very unprofessional. The price sounded good, but I didn't get my money's worth. I would not use them again.

Two guys came and had the entire mulching job done in under 1/2 hour. They were professional, friendly, and the kind of company that I WILL be calling for future work. After looking at the website and speaking with the guys for a bit it is obvious they do much more than deliver and place mulch. I am looking forward to talking to their landscape designer for an upcoming project!

My issue is not one of quality but of delay. The delivery took two months and one of the reasons cited for slow delivery was we did not purchase more than the coupon amount and the distance was an hour away making it unprofitable for the company. Unfortunately, a deal is a deal and mistakes of pricing on the part of the company I can not rectify. We were told the company was giving away Mulch at this price. My issue is that the coupon did not specify all the conditions that potentially could interfer with the company delivering the product in a timely matter. If this was a special and not expected to be delivered quickly, then the coupon should clearly state the company has to a certain date, i.e., November 1st to deliver on the purchase. If quicker delivery is wanted, then a minimum quantity beyond the coupon specified amount could be required. Also a minimum amount for locations beyond the 750 cubic yards could be added as a condition of delivery for over 25 miles from Columbia Stattion. This is reasonable to expect given fuel and time needed to deliver the product. The issue is a poorly written coupon with insufficient conditions and requirement that placed the consumer in the uncomfortable postition of listening to excuses. I would also expect it places an unfair burden on the company trying to fulfill small orders of marginal profitabilty. This was a case of company trying to generate additional business with a good deal but not realizing the full impact of these little orders. This is not a reflection on product. The issue is one of customer service and understanding how to approach the client. ProCut has a good product and the method used to place it on the beds using blowing technology is leading edge. However, customers are not interested in your problems of delivering timely or that it is a losing proposition for coupons. We don't care if it too far, or not enough of a contract, or you will need to do it in the evening, or or whatever. We bought a contracted amount of mulch at certain price with a known surcharge and no delivery time conditions. This is more a question of miscommunication with a deal that lacked detail to protect the consumer from delays then lack of ultimate performance by the company. I would suggest the company stop telling consumers it is giving the mulch away, placate by offering a refund or wilingness to add additional mulch for a bigger load but deliver it later at a similar price. Something besides excuses.

The yard needed a lot of work. Paul came out and made thougthful recommendations for a quick fix that would give the yard a much-needed facelift. He was professional and helpful throughout and is obviously a landscaping expert. Not only was he timely and responsive, he made a follow-up call after the work was done to be sure I was happy with it and to see if I had any questions. I was very impressed with everything and would definitely use them again!

It went well. The 3 guys that showed up worked hard and cleaned up after themselves.

I purchased 4 man hours for $149. Both workers arrived exactly on time. I showed them what I wanted to have cleaned up in the yard. I told them when the time ran out, we were done. Everything I had in mind was accomplished. Great job guys!

Contacted the day before to confirm time, very flexible with our schedule. Paid for 2 guys for 2 hours (4 hours of work) and 3 showed up and worked about an hour and half. Accomplished all the work discussed before the job started and cleaned up all trimmings. The yard work looks great! Very professional.

They did an AMAZING job! The guys that they sent to my house were super courteous. I would definitely do business with this company again. I spoke to the owner several times; each time he took the time to answer my questions and in my opinion attempted to go above and beyond with every interaction. I highly recommend them.

I had a young man named Brian come out and do a lot of small jobs around my yard, pulling weeds and cutting down things for me. He did an outstanding job.

The job involved ripping out old shrubs and adding fresh topsoil and new plantings. They also edged around all the floor beds and and mulched all around the house. I had them cut a down tree and they also removed root-ball. Paul was the team leader and he was very, very helpful in making plant selections. I would recommend them to anyone. They did a great job. I can?t say enough good things about them. There were 5 men here and they had all their work completed in for 4 hours. They cleaned up beautifully afterwards as well.

We purchased the big deal from Angis list. Pro cut called to say they were making appointments and we setteled on a date which was late morning Monday 4/30/2012. Two men arrived on time and asked where I wanted the mulch and gave me options to consider. Joe and his helper were extremely professional and helpful with suggestions. They spread the mulch where I wanted it; blowing it in the beds with a flexable hose. they then raked up any overthrow and used a hand blower to clean up. When complete they gave me a n invoice stating paid in full and Joe paid the fuel surcharge for me saying thank you for being a Veteran. WOW! I will never haul mulch with a wheel barrow again. You bet I will call Pro Cut Landscaping every year I need mulch. After using this service I cannot under

They did an excellent job. I have a bad back. It was nice to watch them blow the mulch, while I just sit back and smile.

We are talking with them about doing some landscaping for us. So far, we are very impressed with their service.

Tthe company contacted me immediately after I purchased the Spring clean up service through Angie's List to schedule a walkthrough. Paul came out, went over the property, described what the special offer would cover and then worked out the effort needed and price for the extra work I requested. He is clearly very knowledgable and professional. Team came on the day scheduled, performed the work to my satisfaction, cleaned up and left within a few hours. The landscape looks great and we are very satisfied.
