Description of Work: Removed two windows and installed new windows, new trim inside and aluminum covered trim on the exterior. They discovered there had been no insulation around the windows installed by the builder.

+ 5 moreWe were very satisfied with the quality of their work. Things went generally very good, when we did have a question or were not satisfied with some aspect of the job, it was given immediate attention. Phone calls were returned promptly and workmen showed up as expected. The double pocket doors we speced were not ordered and unfortunately had to be replaced and this was after they were stained and hung and had the hardware installed. But bob realized it was their error and he replaced them without any hustle. He did try to make the ones they supplied work, but when we were not satisfied he took care of the situation without any problem. We found them to be good problem solvers. Their workmen were pleasant and polite.
Description of Work: Replacement of bedroom and bathroom doors. Installation of double pocket doors. Painting and staining of all doors. Touch-up staining of existing windows. Shower replacement. Electrical work, including channeling of concrete floor for installation of electrical cables for computer hook-ups. Replacement of thresholds after new carpeting was installed. (They did not do the carpet.) Installation of locks for pocket doors. Painting for 5 rooms, including ceilings.

+ -1 moreSTILL HAVE NOT PUT TRIM PIECE ON BOTTOM OF SHOWER. PLASTER GUY WAS QUITE MESSY, BROUGHT THE MIX INSIDE OF HOUSE and MADE A CLOUD OF DUST. I ASKED HIM TO TAKE IT OUTSIDE, BUT HE DID IT AGAIN. RUBBER GASKET ON SHOWER HEAD POPPED OUT BUT REPLACED IT AFTER THE SECOND TIME.

Description of Work: THE COMPANY TOOK THREE WEEKS TO RETURN AN ESTIMATE TO US AND THEN ONLY AFTER WE CALLED TWICE TO REMIND THEM THEY HAD PROMISED ONE. THEIR ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK WAS 100% AND 110% HIGHER THAN THE TWO OTHER ESTIMATES WE RECEIVED.

Description of Work: DUE TO A MAJOR MOISTURE PROBLEM, HALF OF OUR ROOF WAS IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT. MR. KALFAS WAS QUICK TO RESPOND TO OUR CALL AND SUBMITTED A REASONABLE QUOTE. WE DECIDED TO GO WITH A FAMILY OPERATION IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD BECAUSE WE HAVE SEEN THEIR WORK AND WERE IMPRESSED WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS.
