They had a new system going there. The price we paid included the product and everything from start to finish. They had a coordinator who talked to us and he put everything together. That was something new at Lowes that had been going. My wife liked the girls who designed the bathroom and so it seemed reasonable, and we gave it a shot. Sometimes we need to take chances. They were pretty competitive in terms of price.

The service went well. What stands out is just the ease of being able to go into the store and get the carpet. It is not as high pressure as some actual or real carpet store. That is nice.

It went fine. Some of the other prices were a little higher and I thought Lowe's was cheaper, which they were after I got an estimate. I thought I would save a few dollars and get Lowe's.

It was a very good experience. I think they have good prices.

This was a terrible experience due to (Ron at Paramount) minimal customer and communicative skills. Do not utilize this company if results and accountability are anticipated. Paramount Construction is a sub contractor of Lowes Springfield, Ohio. Upon selecting kitchen cabinets at Lowes, I paid $75 for Ron at Paramount to check my measurements and the stock list at my home. This was on July 27, 2012. At this time, I was advised by the associate at Lowes that Ron was on vacation and it would be about a weeks wait. I replied that it was not an issue. I felt that the Lowes associate was very professional and went along with her recommendation. Fourteen days later, I asked the Lowes associate about Ron, and was told that Ron advised Lowes he had already contacted me. However, this was not the case. Ron and I played phone tag on Aug. 14. In my last message to Ron, I stated that I had cleared my work calendar and taken the afternoon off with my employer in order to see him. I requested that if this was not satisfactory, to contact me that evening, as I have to use vacation in order to cover my work absence. On Aug. 16 at 2 pm, Ron called to state that he could not keep Fridays appointment, as he had family arriving from out of town. I said okay and that I would take the time off anyway, but we needed to reschedule for Aug 21 at five. On Aug. 21, I called Ron about his status at 5:19 and did not receive a return call until 6:27. Ron stated that he had taken family to the doctor and would the next day be acceptable? Ron offered no recourse, nor apology.I returned to Lowes and received a refund for my service call fee of $75.

The in-store countertops contained a lot of flaws and I had to accept one that had the least and reglue it. The island top that was special ordered was of very good quality and the kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff person had to go through three fabricators to find one who would make my counter to non-standard specs. The delivery was on time and the price was good. One year later in August 2011, I had to order a countertop for a work station and found the process to be more difficult. Lowes now only had one fabricator and the counter had to be made to standard specs. I could live with this but the counter top ended up being more than the one I had purchased 12 months earlier and it was done in two pieces instead of one.

The purchase of the washing machine was easy. The delivery went well, but the washing machine was defective. Within a few days, Lowes delivered another washing machine that was worse than the first one. The delivery guys and the store manager were professional but rushed. They all kept trying to get me to keep each defective washing machine, because the machines technically worked. They just made a loud piercing noise that could be heard outside. I went to the store and the appliance manager agreed to give me a different brand at the same price. This machine has been fine.

They installed it on the dates that we wanted and at a reasonable price. The quality of work was outstanding and we were very happy with the service. Tab Hunter did the installation. He was professional and did an excellent job. I would use them again in the future.

THE DOORS ARE GOOD BUT THE INSTALLATION ON ONE IS VERY BAD. THE TRIM AROUND THE DOOR IS NOT STRAIGHT. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE. THEIR PRICE IS TOO HIGH. THEY SHOULD TAKE BETTER CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.
