Yoders Vinyl Fencing

It was good - had some initial scheduling issues due to weather and provider family issues. However, when they arrived they were very professional and did the work quickly. This review is about 5 months later, and the repairs are still holding. We bought a Big Deal for this repair and it was very much a good deal. Would use the provider again.

Excellent. Even with a misunderstanding, they were quick to return and resolve things. No complaints. Great service, friendly and professional.

Never delivered the services.

I absolutely love my new fence and highly recommend working with Yoders Vinyl Fencing. I started the process several months ago (when everyone and their mother also wanted a fence installed!). Dan came out, took measurements, discussed options / recommendations and timely submitted an estimate for my review. I engaged them but indicated I could not start the fence until I completed my garage & side porch renovation. I got my property survey back and found that my fence was actually over on one of my neighbors yard by as much as one foot. Out came Dan again! During the renovation found that my side porch had to be taken down and replaced so that completely changed my approach for the fencing in that part of my yard. Out came Dan again! God bless him for his patience! I felt like I was truly living the "This Old House" nightmare of finding all kinds of unexpected "opportunities" to my plans. When all of my fencing finally came in, I was out of town on business so Dan and team had to wait a few weeks. When the four man crew came out, lead by John, I was completely impressed by how quickly they worked, how professional & friendly they were, and how when they came upon potential "opportunities" they had various solutions to offer. They were very cognizant of both of my neighbors properties while they worked. My original east fence (which was wood, bowed, and leaning) was tied into my neighbors gates and they reinforced the remaining gate for my neighbor. I must say, I have received tons of compliments from friends, family, neighbors, my landscapers and the city! I chose Yoders because of their A rating and they fully lived up to that rating. I love my back yard now. It's a place where I want to spend time. My neighbor to the east will likely use Yoders as well to match the fencing....he was equally impressed. I chose a 6 ' privacy with lattice on the top so I can still easily interact with my neighbors and not feel like I'm in a tunnel. I know this fence will last....its high quality, they used 2 bags of concrete per post, and they ensured everything was level. Highly recommend.

I bought the big deal in January, and it took the company a long time to get back to me. I came to find out that one of the owners had a serious injury and was hospitalized. I felt bad, so I waited patiently for them to contact me to perform the work. After waiting about 6 months I cancelled and purchased a different deal through Angie's List. Yoder's contacted me the next day and apologized, and said they would perform the job, as per the deal I had originally purchased, without charging me for additional services. They were really nice and did a great job.

It went great. As soon as I purchased the "Big Deal", he gave me a call back and we set up an appointment. If I remember right, it took us a couple of times to get an appointment but once we finally got an appointment set, he showed up on time and did a great job. I had to leave a little bit early so he was completely comfortable with finishing the work. When I came back, everything was done great. He cleaned up and everything worked great. I had no problems with them.

I called Stan every couple of weeks and have had no success. I was required to do the work myself and did not use the Big Deal.

After several e-mails and telephone calls, YODER'S VINYL FENCING did not follow up nor made an attempt to perform the $99.00 fence maintenance Package. The ?deal? was purchased as one of Angie?s ?big deals.?

They provided good advice on what was needed for my fence. It did take a while to get a hold of them. They were thorough and very helpful.

Purchased big deal on 4/15/2014 and was contacted next day by company and they expressed they were out of town. After exchanging a few emails and expressing my wanting to have services done sooner than later they agreed to come out and look at the fence, which was 2 weeks after the big deal purchase. After looking at the fence I heard no response back from the company. I called a few times and finally got the guy and asked if I could have a quote. He promised me a quote, but I heard nothing for over a week so I called and after a few attempts finally reached him. He said that his brother was an installer and had fallen ill so he was swamped. I asked if he could give me a time frame for when he could send me a quote and he said that he would have one by the end of the week. After another week passed with no word from him I decided to give up and request a refund, which was 35 days after purchase of the big deal. I would not recommend this service provider because they run a very disorganized and unprepared business. They seem to have good intentions but do not follow through (classic over promise and under deliver).

I bought this deal in January 2014 for fence repair, waited for April for better weather. Dan came to inspect fence in April, was to send estimate. Waited several weeks , no estimate. So I called Dan on 5/9/14 left message, no response. Called back 5/14/, Dan's reply was his brother was sick and he didn't know when he could do my fence repair. This is why I'm requesting my $99.00 . Thank You.

Provided my phone numbers to Yoder's. Didn't get a call. Got message from them via your email system that they were very busy. Asked when they were scheduling work and didn't receive a response. Has taken a week or more to get responses to email via your system and I can't seem to get scheduled for work.

I had an old wood fence around my back yard with numerous loose slats, and an entrance gate whose hardware was no longer holding the gate securely in place, and thought I would need a whole new gate. Yoder's did a thorough job securing and/or replacing all the loose slats. They also came prepared to rebuild/replace the gate if needed, which likely would have exceeded the scope of the big deal timewise and pricewise, however after evaluating it were confident they could fix it by just replacing all the hardware. The placement of the new hardware is superior to what was there previously, and clearly the hinges will not break loose like the old hardware. The gate is more stable than it's ever been, and the latch hardware opening the gate is so much more convenient and easy to use. Yoder's was clearly knowledgeable and skillful, and I really appreciated their expertise, and not selling me something I didn't need. It has bought me a few more years with the old fence, and at a bargain price !!!

5 days after I purchase a Big Deal, I had not heard from the company. I called Angie's List, who reached out to them for me, and I heard from them the same day. He said that he would be able to stop by my house the following week, but I only ever received an email from him saying that it was nice speaking with me. I did not end up having the work done.

We signed up for a $99 special in January. Kept having to call or track the guy down to come out. Finally asked for our money refunded. Update (Apr 20) Company has STILL HAS not refunded money. Recommend being extremely CAUTIOUS about hiring this company for anything!

Professional service at value price.

Very professional from start to finish. The estimate was very thoroughly done, with lots of questions and details ironed out before providing a cost estimate. Materials were ordered once I accepted the contract, and I was kept up-to-date while waiting for materials to arrive. Once materials arrived, the job was scheduled and completed in two and a half days. Very good communication through the entire process. The fence is of very high quality, and the installation and clean up were done very well. They even took care of a few little extras that we asked for once they were onsite. These guys are very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend them and would use them again if fencing needs arise.

It went very well. There was one issue with a cut of my neighbors telephone line but it was not the responsibility of Yoder Fencing but lack of mark from the team that came in to mark my utility lines. All work was completed beautifully with little affect to my gardens that were very near the fence line.

We have not begun the project as of yet.

Very easy to get in touch with and fast to schedule an estimate. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Turned around the estimate quickly. The price was competitive, but just a bit higher than another estimate I received, so I decided to go with another company.

Very professional... from initial contact to installation. We had gotten 3 other estimates... 1 from another fence company (estimate was $800 higher) and 2 from "home improvement warehouse" companies (both were within a couple hundred dollars of Yoder's extimate). We chose Yoder's because of price, reputation, and Angie's List reports. They were easy to work with and very accomodating. I would definitely use them again, and recommend Yoder's to anyone planning to have fence installed.

Installation went very well in spite of a half-day delay caused when installers hit a power line mismarked by American Electric Power.

The crew Yoder’s had onsite were respectful, professional and conscientious. I would definitely have the quote / do work for me again. Great Job!

Yoder fencing installed a vinyl fence for us 13 years ago. Although the initial cost was more than what we would have paid for other types of fencing, it was worth the cost. My neighbor installed a wood fence at the same time and has spend over $1500 in maintenance. This was the first time I had to pay for any repair work and it was my fault for the damage caused by the gas trimmer. I called and told them the problem. They quickly ordered replacement parts. Dan came out and installed the slats. While he was here he inspected the fence. He made some adjustments to the gates at no charge. Although this vinyl fencing is more expensive than other types of fencing, I gave it an A rating in price because the low cost in maintenance off sets the higher up front cost.

I just got one e-mail from them. My experience went very well. They were courteous and they responded quickly. I would consider getting a quote from them in the future.
