Through their own trials and testing, they couldn't diagnose a problem and didn't want to do unneccesary work on my car. They waived the diagnostic fees because they couldn't determine a problem. They were very professional and courteous, and I've definitely recommended them to family and friends already.

Discovered my frame was nearly rusted through among other repairs. So sadly, my vehicle is in hospice

They kept telling me I needed a new battery. My battery was only a few months, it was expensive and it was a good quality battery. It was only a loose battery cable and I felt like they should have known that since they were a car repair business. I fixed the battery cable myself and there has never been a problem with it at all. I didn't trust them with replacing the alternator since they kept telling me I needed a new battery and I didn't. They did solve the problem I was having with the car, they got me in quick and they were very nice overall.

Excellent. Corey is incredible to work with. When issues arise, they deal with them promptly and they are more than fair. I highly recommend Olmsted Auto!

They are very accommodating and friendly. That was good. Very good. We bought one of their club things, that included oil changes.

I waited for about an hour and a half for everything. The waiting-room was nice, it was fine. They're friendly. The workers are professional. It's an "A" overall. We've been going to them for years and we really trust them.

We've been using them for probably 10 years. If we have problems with anyone, we have no problems with just leaving. If we find that any work was not done, we let people know and we don't go back. Anyone we stay with it's because of their quality.

I was told that while there was a noise, my brake checked out fine.

I brought my 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback to Olmsted Auto to get a second opinion after being told by another shop that I needed to replace an axle, front struts, rear shocks, and the rear sway bar links. I asked them to look over the suspension and drive system, and they were able to clarify what needed immediate attention and what could wait. I ended up having only the struts and sway bar links replaced, which saved me some money. The owner, Pat, is a really nice guy. He could tell that I was interested to know how things worked, so he took me into the shop and showed me exactly what was going on with my car and also showed me how the components worked. It was really cool of him to do that. Lastly, they provided a free loaner car to use while work was going on! Overall, I really like this shop.

It went great. Used the loaner they supply. They are very pleasant to talk with if you hang around, though they have a small waiting area. Everything was done in a timely manner and the estimates were spot on. I heard about them from Angie's list and they were highly rated and did not disappoint. My regular service garage closed and I was left looking for a quality place to go where I felt I could trust them. Looks like I found that here!

The "check engine" light came on and I took my car straight to Olmsted Auto Care. I'd never been there before, but the owner/manager came right out (they were busy, but he took the time) and checked the computer to see if it would be an easy fix. Unfortunately not, so I left it overnight, got a very nice loaner, and picked up my car the next day. The office personnel were pleasant and professional and the whole experience was positive.

I got them off Angie's List. I used them several times over a few months before we got everything resolved.

Olmsted Auto was terrific in every way. Easy to work with, communicated very well with me and did the work very efficiently. I would highly recommend them to anybody. It's nice having such a quality service provider close to home. They offered me a loaner car but i didn't need it. I will continue supporting Olmsted Auto with all my car service needs.

They did a great job buying quality parts and fixing it quickly.

They always give a good estimate beforehand, and suggest if repair issues can wait or be taken care of in the future, and they also suggest alternatives if something is not their specialty (such as exhaust work). That being said, they saved me a lot of money with a small exhaust repair which would have cost a lot more had I gone to a place where a full replacement might have been advised. I trust their opinion and know that I will always have top-notch service performed.

Exactly as described when they estimated the job. Wanted Honda OEM brakes, which they recommended anyway. As they have a small waiting area took the "free" loaner car option, which requires returning the car after replacing gas used in this case about a $5 fill up.

I'm very pleased with this shop. Our vehicle was exhibiting bad pulsing and shaking during braking. I assumed that we needed to have the brake rotors turned, but the mechanic said the brakes were fine and that the shuddering was caused by some broken and worn suspension and steering components. Turns out they were right, and they did not just do additional work that wasn't needed. They also went the extra mile in setting me up with a loaner when they needed to keep the vehicle an additional day.

Their service is always great. They are very good at identifying any issues when your car is under warranty and they find less expensive ways to do the repairs if needed.

My kids drove to a concert in Cleveland on Sunday, 11/25/12. When they left the concert, around midnight, the car started but made a strange whirring sound. They called back home, in Michigan, and I told them to see if they could make to their hotel, out in the Cleveland suburbs. Unfortunately, the car died just a few blocks later with smoke coming out from under the hood. The engine just stopped. They got AAA to tow the car to their motel. Since we were not familiar with the Cleveland area, I had no idea where to take the car. So I added a northern Ohio subscription to my Angie's List and searched for car repair shops. Olmsted Auto Care was the one of the highest ranked, and fairly close to where the car was. I drove down to Cleveland, called Olmsted Auto Care while on the road, and they said they could take it. So we had the car towed to them. My experience couldn't have been better. I was taken care of by Pat, who squeezed us in to their schedule. The car came off the tow truck and straight into a service bay. Pat gave us directions to the local mall and "restaurant row" where we could go have lunch. An hour later they called, had confirmed that the starter was dead but the engine still turned over fine. They ordered a starter and had it installed a couple of hours later. Meanwhile they checked out the rest of car, confirmed the electrical system was OK, but advised me to keep an eye on the alternator, as it was not charging as well as it should have been. Less than four hours later, we were headed home. We got home successfully and the car has been fine since. Olmsted Auto Care: - was courteous and professional. - gave me an explanation of what they would do and an estimate/parts cost for each step. - took the time to see if there was any other underlying issue associated with the starter motor failing. - fixed the car quickly, and for slightly less than their original estimate. If I lived nearby, this would be great, and I would still have ranked them very highly. But what really made this special was the obvious fact that I live in a neighboring state, some 160+ miles away, and will most likely never return to their facility again. So on top of the top notch, professional service, it was very nice to drive away knowing that you'd just dealt with people with integrity. The world can always use just a little more of that. Thank you Olmsted Auto Care, it's been a pleasure rating you all "A's". You earned them.

I am extremely satisfied with the work that they do. I've used them twice and all repairs were completed promptly for a reasonable price. They've even told me I didn't need some things I thought were needed. I was very surprised that they provided me a free loaner for the day my car was with them. I wouldn't consider taking my vehicle anywhere else.

They are doing fabulous. They are on time, personable and give you a rental for free. They go above and beyond regular service. They don't try to sell you up, if anything they try to keep your cost lower then to try and add services or recommendations you might not need.

This was my second experience with this auto shop. Both were for a 2003 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. in both cases they were exceptional to deal with. The first repair came in for less than the estimate. The second one (the one I'm reporting on) was as quoted. Now that I've found this competent auto repair facility, I will not go to any other for service. I have had nothing but disappointment with the Dealers. Honestly, I could not be more impressed with this group. You can trust your car to them!

I use them for anything that needs to be done on the car like the breaks, tires and just the general fixing of the car. The prices depend on what is done on the car. I would recommend them because; they are very friendly, they know what they are doing and they communicate well. I will continue to use them in the future.

They are efficient, explain what is wrong with the car and I have used them for 5 or 6 years for both of my cars. I am completely satisfied and will use them again in the future.
