Overall everything went good. I was a little disappointed that the tools that were supposed to be on the truck were missing and they had to take 2 trips back to home base. This added an hour of time to the visit and caused me to be late for another appointment. The end result was great and the guys who showed up were great and I would use them again.

Furnace seemed to be turning on and shutting off more than usual. Did not seem to be warming up the house and the thermostat kept reading below what the settings were at. Furnace is about 6 years old, thought I needed new thermostat. Unfortunately, the terminology is a bit off, but basically it needed cleaning around the igniter, flame area. Worked well after this was completed and I did not need a new thermostat.

Bought on line through Angie's List. No problem as they contacted me promptly and did the work as expected.

Originally, the service was schedule for June 10. Waited over 5 hours only to find out the tech would not be at my house until 6-7 PM. Owner contact me after I told the tech to cancel the appointment. Ask why he did not call so I could re-schedule the service call. The second attempt to service the air conditioner went as promised by the Sal's owner.

Furnace checkup required two visits because the technician did not have working test equipment.. On the second trip, a different technician said he could not complete the checkup without performing more diagnostics and the diagnostics could only be performed for a (significant) additional charge. The additional diagnostics were performed at my expenses. He recommended I replace the furnace at a cost exceeding $2500. I did not. Furnace worked without problems in the 2014-2015 winter season. Air conditioner check up resulted in the technician's recommendation that I replace a part at a cost of about $200. I declined the recommendation. Why, because the part (a relay) to be replaced can be purchased for about $30 and because the technician did not to gain my trust. The air conditioner continues to perform without this repair. Overall neither check up opportunity gained my trust of either technician which reflects poorly on their employer.

Every aspect of both installations went very well. Installers were professional in their knowledge and performance. I will call them when needed in future.

Turned out that the root cause for the leaking toilet was a defective flang. Sal's correctly diagnosed the problem, bought the parts and fixed the problem. they also connected the pedestal sink to the water pipes.

They came and gave estimate on the initial day I called. Once I decided to go with them, they scheduled for installation the next week. The workers were prompt, professional, friendly, and did great work. We had a similarly good experience with Sal's last year when they installed a new tankless hot water heater. I will continue to use them for my HVAC needs. Thank you Sal's!

Two men were here at least an hour mostly working outside on the air conditioner itself and then checked things out downstairs, including cleaning the filter. A good value.

The technician was very detailed, cleaned the burners, checked the filters and recommended the ones to use, checked the humidity control and system to insure it was running properly. Took care not to scratch furnace since it's only a few years old and still looking like new. Went over everything with me.

The faucet would not turn and we bought the 69.00 coupon for a replacement service. We hadn't realized that we actually had a Frost Free faucet which was 100.00 more. But we were told prior to the work being started and the faucet was replaced quickly and we were happy with the results.

The installer was on time and completed the replacement in a timely manner. He was very pleasant and professional. I've used this provider for other installations and have always been very pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went very well. I bought a Big Deal for this work. I was contacted in a timely manner by Sal's to set up a time to do the work. The young lady at Sal's was very nice and when I explained that it would take me approximately 30 minutes to get to the location to meet the plumber, she said no problem, she would let him know. The time frame was from noon to 4:30 p.m. The plumber called me around 11:45 a.m. and we were able to both arrive at the site at approximately the same time. Johnny, the plumber, got to work right away and began snaking the main drain line. He explained how the drain lines were configured and was able to find the problem and unclog the line. Johnny was very personable and professional and I was happy that the line was opened and running. It was a very good deal for $89. I have used Sal's before for drain line snaking and have always had a good experience.

I was concerned and a little upset when I called to make the appointment and the person on the phone said he could not give me an approximate time of arrival (am? pm?) because I was using a coupon. The serviceman would call me approximately 30 mintes before arrival. So I took the day off from work and when no one called by 4:00 pm, I called the office and was assured someone would still be out that day. He did arrive at about 6 pm -- and I have no complaints about the actual service. The servicemen (there were 2) were professional, courteous and addressed my issue with the spigots. My only complaint is taking a day off from work to sit at home and wait for service until 6 pm. Couldn't they have said afternoon or late afternoon when I made the appointment.

Arrived within the promised time frame, calling immediately before. Polite service. He explained some items which required minor attention but did not add cost, left everything clean and orderly.

After responding to the initial $99 Angie's List offer, a crew of 2 came out to unclog my drain. They were unable to do so and therefore needed to charge me an additional $500 to jet it out. This also did not work and they needed to return the next day. There were serious misunderstandings and misrepresentations. After much discussion with the company, they finally sent a second crew who was able to fix it quickly. Additionally, had they been sent out initially the job would have cost me far less than the $600. I was quite surprised that each of the crews does not have the same equipment or follow the same procedures. The only reason I provided ratings of D rather than F is that they finally worked with me. But the effort to get to that point, and the lingering feeling that I was ripped off ensure that I will not recommend or use again.

Technician was knowledgeable and thorough. Good price for work performed.

Went well overall - after an extensive hunt for a leaky gas valve in my existing line which proved fruitless, I authorized them to install a new external gas line in the house. Their crew was able to install it in 1 day and it passed inspection by the gas company. They arrived on time and worked diligently and professionally throughout the day, even offering to wait for the gas inspector to arrive and turn on the service to my house.
