I was quoted $269 in writing for the job. I was later emailed the offer from Angie's List and paid $79 for $200 toward labor. The work was performed well;. then I was charged $199.80 for material (the faucet). Total ~ $279. The "deal" was more expensive. This is my definition of a scam. I was going to contract this work regardless. Receiving the offer was timely and seemed to be a great deal. My issue is with the marketing. i.e. mark up the price to cover the discount. Bottom line: quality work at a fair price with a non-existent discount.

Service man arrived and performed AC check and cleaning. Noticed that the outside faucet was not working and gave me an on the spot quote to have it repaired. Very professional and pleasant.

Deal was purchased as a gift for my parents. There were several items they had put off repairing. Call was promptly returned to schedule and work completed within a few days. Faucet and garbage disposal were provided for installation. Additional time was required to complete the three items. The dollar value of another deal I purchased with an expired promotional value was honored and applied to the additional charges. My parents were very satisfied with the work completed.

When the technician finally arrived, he was thorough and professional. The problem involved the office staff. I scheduled the appointment and was told that someone would come between 9am and 4pm but they would call 30 minutes before arrival. That all sounded fine. The actual day of the appointment, a man from the office called and left a message to call back about the appointment. I returned his call within 2 minutes of the message and was told that the tech was on his way. This was 2 pm. My son was there waiting. At 3:45 still no tech so I called the office again. That is when they got nasty. A woman at the office told me that they did not send some because I did not answer the phone and she would try to reschedule. When I told her that I had called right back and was told someone was on the way, she continue to insist that they would need to reschedule. i asked to talk to a manager and got the first man who called me. He said the tech got held up somewhere and that he calls everyone at 2 pm to say someone is on the way. Then he became nasty telling me that the customer before me deserves good service and I would get good service when they came to my house but no idea when someone would come. At 4:30pm the actual tech called to say he was on his way and would arrive in 30 minutes and he did arrive at 5pm. The tech was good. I had planned to purchase my new furnace from Sal's in the fall and this tune up was a chance to see how they do business. I will never deal with this company again. There is no excuse for the way they treat customers and there are many other companies to choose from.

The service call went smoothly. I appreciated him using the foot covers when walking on the carpet. He was informative and gave us the needed information on air conditioner and furnace units.

It went very well. The contractor cleaned out several storm drains. One was clogged and that caused our patio to flood. They diagnosed the problem and resolved it. They were very cooperative and professional. I would use them again.

I bought a deal for $649 for a water heater but paid more for a larger tank.

It went very well. I purchased the service through Angie's List. It was one of their special offers. I called on Thursday and due to my and their schedules, the soonest they could come was the following Tuesday, which I could live with. I got home early on Friday afternoon and Sal's called me to make sure our appointment was still on. I said yes, but it might be a long weekend for me without any hot water. The rep said they could send a crew that afternoon since I was home. He just had to make sure it was feasible for his men. He called me back a few kinutes later and said we were good to go, and within an hour a two-man crew arrived. It took them about an hour and a half to do the work. They cleaned up and then removed the old water heater. They did a fine job and there have been no problems with the heater or the workmanship.

The repairment was prompt, identified the problem with the leaky toilet, fixed the issue and suggested an additional part for another problem he noticed while servicing the toilet. He was prompt, knowledgeable and quick.

spend 3 days finding the problem. didn't realize the extent of fixing the problem. first day, tried to snake the drain and it would not budge. 2nd day took picutures of the area . 3rd day came out with maching the blasted thru it all. now is fine.

The provider, Sal's Heating & Cooling, showed up exactly when they said they would with all of the proper materials. Two men were on site. They were extremely courteous and professional during their visit. I am very pleased with their work.

The work was efficient and well planned. Furnace done first day; air cond. second. Two workers did a good job of getting the job done. They arrived early and worked until late afternoon second day. I have used Sal for other jobs and have never had any complaints. I
