went poorly due to the storm drain being clasped, it wasn't their fault, thought line could just be flushed out but it wasn't possible, they will be coming back next week for free to re-diagnose the problem and to see what it will take to fix it.

They did a good job. They were prompt and they called us back. They came out when they were supposed to. The person that came out was professional. He took his time. We didn’t need any coolant. He was honest. He could have said that we did or he could have said we needed parts but he told us the truth. That’s very important when you have someone come out. You don’t know what anything is wrong or right but you’d expect somebody else to tell you what it is and he was very good at that. Price was good. It wasn’t real high. It wasn’t real low. It’s an average or medium price.

Service tech was prompt and professional. Followed-up to advise what he found (and didn't find). Great first experience.

Poor customer service. The workmen had to go in and out of house and ground outside was wet but they did not care to remove their shoes or wear covers for the shoes and dirtied/soiled the carpet. By the time I saw , the damage was done. Moreover I do believe that they should have had the sense to treat a customers's house/property with care rather than show complete disregard for it.

Sal's Heating and Cooling is one of my favorite Angie's List providers. The techs always are on-time, and if an emergency job (not uncommon in the HVAC world) causes them not to be, someone calls and offers you the option of later that day or a reschedule. This happened during my first appt. window for this service. We opted to reschedule, and because it was a reschedule, I was allowed to pick morning or afternoon vs. an all-day window, which is usually the case for these Angie's List Deals. I first found Sal's through these deals, and the company has become my go-to provider for my annual furnace and AC maintenance. The techs are informative and polite, as are the office workers who handle the scheduling.

Service was very good - ran into a couple issues that caused it to take longer than expected, but everything was resolved with no issue.

Really well. The service technician, Zach, was outstanding. He introduced himself right away and asked a couple of really relevant questions. He got started right away - moving from location to location very efficiently. He was very helpful, explaining things as he went along. He seemed really thorough - I could tell he enjoyed his work and interacting with customers. He was very polite. He took the time to show me how to change the air filter and why it was important. He also took the initiative to flush one of the lines that he thought looked slightly clogged. All in all a very nice experience. Would definitely recommend Zach. thanks

We had purchased an $80 Big Deal for a $200 value. This covered the entire work. They were quick and neat. The cost of their service was half compared to another quote we received. We would totally use them again!

The guys were very knowledgeable and helpful. No hard sell, and we will definitely call Sal's again.

The technician from Sal's arrived within thirty minutes after the dispatcher called to let me know he was on his way. The clog was cleared quickly, and the technician cleaned up the area when he was finished. My only criticism was that the quickest appointment available was 4 days from the date of my call.

He was especially accommodating to come the same day to fix my sister's toilet. She indicated that it made quite a mess & the plumber cleaned it up & took her trash out for her. We were extremely pleased. It was a big deal of the day, so was even more delighted at the savings. We live in Illinois, and thru Angie's list were able to find a plumber in Ohio.

,It is very hard to find fault with perfection! The two main crew,( Kramer & Carl), called first and arrived on time. The work crew's work ethic was amazing. No phase of the job from cleanliness, knowledge of the product, dismantling, and installation showed any less than absolute perfection. I found Sal's heating and cooling on Angie's list, and was amazed at how many positive reviews were listed. I even found the few negative reviews listed handled perfectly by the owner Sal. Anyone considering heating, cooling, either replacement or repair, along with plumbing issues, would do themselves a favor by getting in touch with Sal's. My thanks to both Angie's List and Sal's for making me a very satisfied customer. You can now consider me a life-long Sal's customer!

It went alright. I wish they were a bit more tidy, but they did a good job.

I was contacted by Sal's the day before the installation to confirm the appointment. They also called from the road to tell me what time they would arrive. They arrived on time and began work promptly. The kept me informed about what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves. They showed me the controls and how to use them if needed. This is a great water heater and I highly recommend Sal's. I have used them several times and have been very pleased with them each time. No problems whatsoever.

For a 20 year old air conditioner, it is running well. Because it is 20 years old, I was concerned about its life. The contractor cleaned it up and tested it. No upsell, no doom and gloom. I was very pleased. It is still running but it is on its last legs. I will consider them when I need to replace.

We had an issue at the same time with the thermostat and they said they would come back but they never came back. It was fine -they did what they had to do.

It was good. They had actually done work for us prior to that. The year before they did a heating and air conditioning tune up for us. I bought another hose faucet from them when they came out. I had two but I wanted the other one replaced.

Very professional job. I was very pleased and would definitely call SAL'S again for any plumbing issues. The only problem I had with the experience is that I had to wait 10 days for service. I was told that Angie's list coupon customers were placed on the waiting list because their regular customers were served first. I had a serious leak in the laundry room, which had to wait 10 days to be stopped. The water cost added to the cost of service will make the expense higher than expected.
