The service was first class. The plumber was very experienced and effective. I would definitely use them again.

Sal's sent the trchnician on the same day i called. Phil was very professional, was able to determine the problem within a few minutes, explained everything he was doing, and finished within 30 minutes. He checked out the entire unit and was very knowlegeable, efficient and personable. Price to fix was much less than i expected for same day call. Great service company.

They called 30 minutes before they came and were on time. They checked the A/C unit inside the house and outside. Cleaned the coils and added refrigerant per the big deal. Unit is running properly per their check and I would use them again.

They didn't have the part when they got here but they did get the part. The installation was done satisfactorily.

I had two types of services with a coupon I used from Angie's list..One hour of HVAC/plumbing for 99. I was not impressed at all with the two service personnel that came for the plumbing issue. The older gentleman smelled horribly of smoke and was not very personable. I was actually a little nervous about him. The other young gentleman that was with him did not say a word until the end. He handled the payment and was very polite and friendly at that point. My daughter had put some earrings down a bathroom drain and I thought I could see them from the top but could not reach them. The older service professional stated he didn't find anything in the drain. (Something was in the drain because the water drained very slowly. The HVAC personnel was very courteous and helpful. He arrived on time and was very professional. He provided the service I requested and gave me ideas and suggestions on how to keep the house cooler upstairs. I would rate his service excellent.

We have used Sal's for a number of H&V services plus a hot water heater. Every technician was professional and offered extra advice to extend the lives of our units.

Our AC unit was not cooling properly. The Sal technicians Richard and Billy Bob diagnosed it and fixed it quickly. We appreciate their professionalism and the quality of work.

We're happy with their services. They did the work well and quickly. They sell more reasonably priced equipment than like a top of the line name brand. But the quality of the products for the price was good. They sent two guys out and got it done in one day.

The company was here on time, did an excellent job, and were a pleasure to work with.

Tony arrived and checked on the leaking issue I had and the bad faucet. He told me that the work could not be performed. I was really bummed. The faucet was nailed under my siding but somehow he miraculously was able to push the faucet through in my basement without any damage to my house. Kudos to Tony!!!! He was awesome. I have more water pressure now and I LOVE my new faucet. They get an A for saving my day.

Had a lot of work to do and did a great job

As in the past, the service was excellent! I bought the faucet, the technician installed it quickly, neatly, efficiently, and within the time frame of the Angie's List special pricing. Anyone who has come out from Sal's Heating and Cooling has been been extremely pleasant. Highly recommended.

They did what they said they were going to do for the price they said they were going to do it at. Can't ask for more than that with a business.

They did a great job. Called ahead the day of the appointment and arrived timely. I showed them the drain and they snaked it out and our water is now running free. They were friendly and professional and made a few suggestions for how to keep things flowing. I would definitely use them again.

It's a contract where they do the air conditioning. At the Fall, they look at the furnace.

She called yesterday having problems setting the thermostat. She would turn it down and the a/c wouldn't even kick on. I told my husband and he called sal's to come out. They then said it needed the whole new compressor or new unit. It came out to $1700 for just the compressor along with the permits to do the work. I called another company and he came out and clearly saw that it only needed to be cleaned. I feel like Sal's was taking advantage of my handicapped daughter. Told me he would refund our money if we change the grade on review.

While they only completed some of the items, I appreciate Sal personally calling me to discuss my concerns on how things went. I was not happy that they missed a few things and that I had to clean up after them. Sal was very sympathetic. He told me that this is not the way he wants his crews to do business. I believe he was sincere, and I appreciate that. I would consider using them again based solely on the fact that Sal reached out to me to apologize. That speaks highly of his character.

Took a while but he ran new copper from our water line to the backup sump pump. He originally brought a battery-operated backup but we corrected it before he began any work. There was an hour delay while he went to get the parts needed for the water-powered system. Overall, happy with the installation. I always feel confident with Sal's Heating and Cooling.

Service performed promptly and as described.

I was happy with the work. They did everything that I asked and a little bit beyond. Unfortunately they broke my steps on the way out. They did a repair and leveled the steps as indicated. It's not like new but it is the best I can have without changing the whole historical integrity of the home. They've done everything I've asked up until now.

Dimitri and Syed did a good job with my HVAC. The system stopped working about two weeks ago, and after having tried all DIY troubleshooting, i finally decided to call someone. Sal's had a big deal for $30 for one hour diagnosis call. I expected that after the diagnosis, there will be estimate for the actual repair. The guys called ahead and showed up promptly after that. it took them only 30 mins to diagnose the problem. I was presented with solution and a price. they worked quickly and professionally to take care of the issue. Fixed the issue without any surprises along the way. Both, Dimitri and Syed were professional yet friendly and pleasant to talk to. I requested that they explain me what they are doing (i m curious to know) and they did without hesitation. Only thing i want to critique is that their scheduling system is not very efficient. When i called to schedule service, they would not give me a time. They said between 8-4. So i took the day off and did not schedule any errands between that time slot. I called at 10 to see if they can now give me a 2 hr window, but they wont. Finally they came after 6pm. I could have easily gone to work and back! I had requested if they can put me as the first or the last customer of they day but they could not accommodate that.

It was excellent. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount. We hadn't been using our bath tub for quite a while. The cold water came out and the hot water did not. So, they came in and replaced a part in the faucet rather than replacing the whole faucet. I was very happy with them.

Technician was very through . Explained every step and the meters that he was using, very nice and and answered all my questions. I need a hot water tank and will call them 1st.

Overall we got furnaces in the house much cheaper than it was then. I called the office and asked one guy in the office and he was just really giving me a hard time. The thing was kicking on and off frequently and you know he said there is something wrong with the setting in here, it's going to be later adjusted. He was telling me; you wanted a furnace, you got what you wanted and he was being really rude. There were some of the guys who came out and they were very nice and very responsive. They were fairly punctual and they did come out.

I called this provider on the morning of 7/27 because the main line from inside to the outside ac unit is frozen over. I turned the unit off because I was afraid to leave on while at work. I was put on the schedule for today because I want someone to check it asap as I don't want to be without ac. I asked about the coupons on their website and I chose the free service call one and they said I have to tell them now I am going to use it and print and give it to the tech. okay fine I can do that. I then googled them and found they have a groupon offer and it seemed like a better deal as I don't have alot of money to spend and need to be careful with my finances. I don't know alot about Groupon offers so before I got it I called back and spoke with Molly, we discussed what is the better option and I was right it seems the Groupon is a good deal. She said to call back with the Groupon code. I paid for the Groupon and called back to give code, I talked to Angela, she said that I have to wait 3 days to use this Groupon coupon because they met their coupon quota two weeks ago! Why do they have this still available for people to purchase then and it doesn't say you have to wait 3 days?!!!! She said because they are so busy they can't accept the coupons? that makes no sense to me! It just seems they want my business only to charge me more money!! I am very upset about this and think how they treated me is wrong. She said the owner made this rule. Well then the owner should have that in fine print on the coupon so people know that if they buy this they have to wait 3 days for service!!!! They said the girl I talked to Molly is new and forgot about this rule...whatever. I said I will not give you my business (which all together with parts probably would have been more than $59.00) so cancel my appt and I will call someone else...and I hung up! I had no problem with Groupon refunding my money! I don't think the way Sal's Heating and Cooling does business is right at all. Thanks, Anne Schietroma
