Did not like the fact that you have to be available all day because they will not give you a morning or afternoon window. As it turned out they came early am which was great for me since I am a morning person. Professional and solved my issues. They had to go back to shop to get equipment to repair leaking faucets which added about a 45 min wait time for me. I have used Sals for heating issues and will continue to use them in the future.

Talk about DELIGHT. The guys (Roy and Joe) were awesome. Came in, put booties on their feet, and got to work immediately. Nothing delayed them, worked as a great team. I only wish I would have called Sals a long time ago to fix my items. If you really want a one survey question, ask Would you recommend them to your neighbors and friends. My answer would be a resounding YES.

The guys were nice but I cannot afford to pay $225.00 for someone to be nice to me. "Service" was performed on Feb 25 and 26 of 2015. The $40 thermostat my fiancé installed seems to have done the trick. I used Angie's list to find this company and since I was having problems with my furnace the descriptions for inexpensive checks did not seem to be the proper choice for me. It made sense for me to have a real service call. I then conferred with Keith at Sal's. He was apologetic and appreciated my feedback so that he could confer with his servicemen/women and avoid this issue in the future. He also explained the difficulty of diagnosing an intermittent problem and promptly offered to refund my second charge. I'm glad we could work this out, Sal's seems to have allot to offer.

They came and did the tub and the sink for the one drain price. Very nice job and they made everything right. I would have no problem in calling them again now I see that they will work with their customers to make sure they are happy. Nice Job Sal's.

They were friendly and even offered some suggestions in clean up.

Came on time. They're always on time or call. They always full of information and helpful.

I was not home at the time my roommate was he said the guy was nice and professional. When I got home the toilet looked nice but they left a mess and did not clean anything up from the old toilet. There was still left over leveling paste from the old toilet and made it look real shotty at the bottom.I figure well it was just for install so I will clean it later. Went to try it out and it wobbled it was not installed securely. The old toilet had leveling paste on it you think it would of been obvious to level the new toilet as well So I had to call and someone else to come out to fix it. The guy fixed it it does not wobble but I am surprised he did not say anything about the mess left over from the old toilet. I guess making things look good was not part of the installation. It would be nice to actually find someone who takes pride in what they do.

Sal's was on time, but needed to do a better job in clean-up.

Were VERY professional and helpful. Arrived on time, replaced all parts, found cracked flush handle on one toilet and replaced it. Communicated what was done before they presented invoice. They were clearly and justifiably proud of Sal's Heating & Cooling and the reputation of the company they represent. Tony & Shawn were very courteous and helpful and we will use them again! Thanks so much for their help. VERY positive experience!!!

We noticed a water leak over the weekend and called the emergency line. Got a response from a technician and they were able to come out Monday morning. Technicians arrived on time and completed the job as scheduled without incident. They were courteous and polite. We appreciated the quick response and were happy with the work performed. Thank you Sal's!

What a pleasure !!! It is such a joy using a contractor who not only knows his job, but enjoys doing it. He sung and joked through the entire visit leaving my wife very happy when he left. While I personally did not meet him, the impression he left with my wife far exceeded my expectations. We now have an A list plumber for our future use.

I thought that the person was knowledgeable. There were no issues at all, they came in, got the work done, answered questions that I had and that was helpful. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They were pretty good. They did what they said they would do. They came out when they said they would. There was no surprise in the cost. I will recommend them to others.

They set us up with an appointment time within a week of purchasing the coupon. They said they could not give us an idea of when they would be coming (am or pm) due to possible emergency calls which we understood. The day of the appointment I called and was able to get an appointment time for the day. The technician came on time and found that he would not be able to install the larger humidifier we had purchased. He was able to install the smaller model. I called Angie's list and spoke to a rep very quickly who was able to refund us for the voucher for the larger humidifier and charge us for the smaller one. The technician took approximately 5 1/2 hr to install the smaller humidifier. He was given a voucher for the smaller humidifier when he left. He documented on the paperwork that the larger humidifier did not fit and was exchanged for the smaller one. Everything has been working great. However, today we received a voicemail from Angela at Sal's heating and cooling. Her tone on the voicemail was extremely rude and she stated that our voucher she had on file was refunded and that the owner was wondering "how we planned to pay for the humidifier". She stated that if this was not handle in a very timely manner they would "send this to collections and put a lean on our house". I find it extremely unprofessional that you would threaten a lean on our house and collections without actually calling the customer to confirm what happened or ask the technician about a new voucher. Also, while he was at our house and I was speaking with Angie's list he called his boss to confirm that we would need to switch out the vouchers so they were aware of the situation the day of the service. I find her voicemail and threats very unprofessional and will not recommend them in the future. Luckily my husband dealt with the situation before I was aware of it and he is much better with dealing with rude individuals!!!

Great/Perfect Made the appointment (secretary was very courteous and professional), informed her that I had two big, but friendly dogs. Received a phone call one-half hour prior to their prompt scheduled time. The technicians (Jerry and Kevin) came in, met the dogs, brought in their equipment and surveyed the sink trap and followed it into the basement to the clean out trap. They disassembled and snaked out the drain. They spent about five minutes running water to make sure that the line was open, and that there was no leakage. They even cleaned the bottom of the cabinet and both sink basins. Once again, thanks SAL for your professional AC/BOILER/PLUMBING tech's....I'm just waiting for SALS Electrical..

This is the second time I’ve used them. Everything went great. They were efficient and nice and do good work.

The job went great. They staff was very good, and prompt. They cleaned up after themselves well. They finished the job in under a day.

On February 13, 2014, I needed various plumbing issues taken care of. Someone from Sal's promptly arrived at my house within a couple of hours. Although he wasn't able to help with one particular issue, he did provide insightful and much needed help and advice with a project I was and will be attempting in the future. I found the service I received to be professional and courteous.

Installer was professional and courteous as well as timely.

They cleaned up, inspected and explained to us what the did to the furnace. They also vacuumed the area after the job.

Plumber/installer Tony ("Red") from Sal's Heating & Cooling was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I had purchased an "Angie's Deal of $99 for 2 hrs. plumbing" and it turned out to be a very good deal for me. "Red" from Sal's thoroughly checked everything to make sure there were no leaks when the job was done.

Partially because I knew my furnace was 35 years old, and partially because Angie's List had a coupon, I had Sal's install an American Standard furnace in December of 2012. This winter, my heat went out, and I called Sal's, because I was surprised that something would be broken so soon after I had purchased a new furnace. TO MY HORROR, I FOUND THAT THE FURNACE SOLD TO ME IN 2012 (AS NEW) WAS ACTUALLY A 2007 FURNACE. The date is right on the back of the unit. I am extremely disappointed on a number of levels: First, there was no mention to me or in the paperwork that accompanied my "new" furnace that this unit was 5 years old. Next, I am disappointed in Angie's List for not doing their 'due diligence' in vetting this company. I would wonder if anyone who also bought a furnace from these people with a coupon in the last 2 years (at least) also received an old unit. THIS COMPANY PERPETRATED A FRAUD, and not just upon me, but possibly upon anyone else who purchased what they believed to be a new furnace from this company. I doubt that anyone at either Angie's List or at Sal's would be fine with paying for a 2015 model automobile and receiving a 2007 model. Neither am I. This seemed like a great price, and it was. However, I did not realize that the reason the price was so 'good' was because I was actually receiving a 5-year-old model. While their other ratings scored high, I would NOT recommend them because they essentially lied to me and sold me an old model. I would recommend that anyone who bought from them in the last few years should immediately check the year that is on the furnace with the date that they purchased the product, and that Angie's List consider dropping this company for their list of recommended providers.
