Outstanding! I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. The provider kept me updated throughout the install and even pointed out other areas I should consider. Unclogged showerhead and did all faucets in my house without asking. I paid $99.00 for two hours of plumbing. Satisfied from the start to the finish. Would hire provider again without hesitation.

Went very good...Called with issue, and they said they would contact a serviceman and have them call me...he called me within 10 minutes, was here within 15, and took about an hour for him to locate problem, replace waterline and new shut off valve, walk me thru how to use it properly for the seasons, and cleaned up...Very pleased with speed and the work done.

My furnace would not turn on Wednesday, 03/18/2015 just before taking an out of town trip and I called for quick service. Their response was excellent as was their quality of service. My issue was the cost of replacement part. The new replacement thermostat cost twice as much as the exact model on Amazon, which puzzled me?? I contacted Sal's for an explanation and was told that the cost included installation and replacement of the part (The part has a 5 year warranty on the part box). I stated I was already charged for a service call and time of labor for their diagnosis, but their still was additional labor cost charged for the installation of the thermostat?? I have used Sal many times before and have been quite happy and thought that this charge was an anomaly. Until on their return visit to fix my toilet that was broken during the original service call by the technician, who by the way was very honest and forthright about what happened and was fixed free by Sal's. Upon fixing my toilet I needed a new internal flushing part which I was told I would receive a special price because they would not charge me for the service call since they were already at my house, which was a nice gesture I thought. I asked for an estimate for replacement part and the cost was around $87.00. The cost seemed a little excessive based upon my experience replacing that part before in other bathrooms for the lower cost of the part of $17-24 dollars. I declined to have this service performed.

The installed went great. It was very easy to setup the appointment and they had days open the next day. The called promptly the day of service to setup the time to come out. The technician arrived quickly and was very friendly and courteous. He installed the unit in the time he said he would and I could tell he took pride in his work. After the install he took the time to go over the whole unit from operation to maintenance and also answer questions I had. I had a few other questions not related to the install that he took the time to cover with me. It is good to see that there are still customer service focused companies out there with people that enjoy and take pride in their work.

I called after purchasing a big deal. Although it was not an emergency, Sal's was able to fit me in for same day service. The plumbers gave me a call when they were on their way. They were able to identify what was clogging the drain and help us avoid such clogs in the future, timely fixed the problem, and were very pleasant. Would recommend again!

$99 for 2 hours was great. rough plumbing job, pipes exposed and accessible. However, both plumbers we not of equal caliber, one seemed more like entry level trainee, job took longer than 2 hrs and I was billed at $180 per hour ( $90 per hr per plumber). I complained as I don't mind paying $90 and hour for a plumber however, there were not two plumbers here that day. Sal's did issue a $50 refund, however, $75 an hour for a trainee is a little steep for me. In future I will request only one plumber as I do not have job that would require two and not want to pay $180 per hour.

He was super competent, friendly, and informative. He came on time and worked the whole time without taking a break. He complimented my homemade soup so I sent him away with a cup full. :)

Very quick competent service. The technicians who came were courteous, friendly, and very thorough. Only tiny glitch was that my provision that I would not be at my home until 1PM did not make it on to the work order, but all told it made no difference, as they were here in less than an hour once I got home and phoned them.

,Different contractors showed up to do the work. First day electrician approached me and said he needed to add something for new furnace and they would have to charge me extra for an electical permit with the city. I said this should have been included in the price. When they came out and did the estimate and quoted the job, he knew there had never been AC in the house.I told him I wasn't paying extra and I would call the office. The worker said to me," well I'm not paying for it, it's not coming out of my check." I called the office and left a message. No one ever called me back that day. The second day, the plumber came to me and said he was also having to go and get permit from city and it would cost me extra also. I told him the same thing, that I was not paying extra for it and I called the office again. Eventually one of the bosses called me back and said no permits from the city were covered in the price. I pulled out my quote and no where was it written that permits were extra. Then the plumber said he would have to run a line down through the chimmney to vent the hot water tank. It was also about $200.00- $300.00 extra. We discussed the exhaust coming up through the chimmney with cracks and it getting into the house and I authorized him to go ahead with this. Early on the last day, which I didn't know was their last day, only the plumber came up to me and said he would finish that day. He knew I had to leave and he asked me to sign off on his job before I left. He showed me his receipt and it had the extra charge for the permit on it. I told him I would not sign it that I was not paying for that it should have all been in the quote. I agreed to the other charges... the quote for the plumbing was as I had it on my quote and the extra chimney line I authorized I was OK with. He stood in front of me on the front lawn outside and looked at his helper and said, "this is b********, this is ridiculous." Then he took his pen and angrily crossed out the permit price. So I signed the sheet and left. I was on my way up to a previous engagement about an hour away when I got a phone call from the electrician that he was done. I said great who comes back tomorrow so I can look at the work and make sure everything is OK and sign off and pay. He said no one, you have to come now. It is payment on completion and we have to wait here till someone comes. I said that is impossible, I'm an hour away and no one told me you guys would all finish today. This was about 5PM. He said we wait or we'll pull everything out of the house that we put in. I said you're not serious! He said yes. I still had roofers on the roof at this point still working. My roofers told me later that they heard him on the phone with me and they told him I'm good for the money. They already paid us half for the roof and we are coming back here in morning to meet her, have work looked at and final payment. Sal's workers told him they didn't care they would pull everything out of the house. I told them that I was away and could not return, I would try and call my brother and have him call with his charge card info. to the office. I called Sal's office and got the same nastiness that I got from the worker at my house. I left message that I wanted Sal, the owner, to call me. I reached my brother and he called the office and called me back later. He works for contractors laborer company in Cleveland as regional manager from Nashville, and he said he has never in his career ever spoken to anyone as unprofessional and rude as the man in the office that he spoke to and he deals with contractors all day. He asked them why a worker at the job site is calling my sister and harassing her about payment. I was out of the city and offered to meet someone from the office there tomorrow and they said no. Personally, I would have left them pull everything out of the house and I would have called a different company the next day and hired someone else to repeat the job. Sal did call me back but not till the next day and offered no apology, he only made excuses for the rude manners of his workers and offered no compensation and nothing that would help the situation. I told him I worked in Emergency nursing for Cleveland Clinic and worked with numerous, numerous men from Doctors to paramedics, firemen and policemen in Cleveland and I would sure to relate my story and not recommend them. His answer to me was, "well you do what you think you have to do and I'll do what I have to do" I said, "are you trying to threaten me?" I found the workers trying to add things on to the bill and raising it. The plumber even told me I needed a grounding wire placed in the basement to my waterline. I walked him downstairs and showed him the new one just installed by an electrician the week before like I didn't know what was going on. They treated me like a "woman" who didn't know anything and they were very condensending when I asked a question. I would never use this company again. As a side bar, I was at work in the ER and was relating my story to the Doctor working that night and he listened and then said, " now can I tell you my story". He had also used Sal's and they tried to place something else on his job that they were then going to charge him extra for and he refused to pay it. He said he did not like them either.

The technicians were very professional and the work was of high quality. They made sure to explain what they were doing, why they were doing it that way, and the expected results after installation. They took the time to explain the functionality of the unit and what to do if I had any issues. I will definitely call on Sal's service again in the future.

I got a bunch of quotes from other companies but I ended up going with Sal’s because they had best deal. Two guys came out and they showed on time. They service was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. They hauled away the old air conditioner and furnace. The new air conditioner and furnace is working well and I have no problems. It took them 2 days to install them and everything went smoothed.

Have been using Sals for the last 3 years for A/C and furnace tune ups. The technicians were very personable and very knowledgeable and went about their business checking everything out. Very impressed with these techs. Yesterday had a hot water tank and humidifier installed. The 3 techs again were very personable and did a great job installing and then explaining the process of each piece of equipment to me. Showed me how to care for each item. Cleaned up after themselves and took the time to thank me for choosing Sals. Sals has earned my loyalty to them. Great job from Jessica in the office to Jim who called to confirm and to all of the techs. Thank you Sals.

The technicians called about 30 minutes before arriving. When they got to the house they brought in their equipment and we described what the problem was and that our municipality had sent someone out to do a temporary fix. They explained what they were doing as they performed the work and recommended preventative measures we could take to avoid future problems. Before leaving the technicians cleaned up so that our basement was exactly as it was when they arrived. This was our first time using Sal's for anything but HVAC. They were great and we will definitely have them back when we need plumbing services again.

I contacted Sal's through Angie's Big Deal and quickly arranged for a home visit/inspection/discussion. John, the person who came out, was very professional in discussing the Big Deal and related options. Once we came to agreement, they promptly and efficiently installed a new furnace, adapting it to the existing air conditioner; removed the old furnace and cleaned up all debris; explained how to maintain the new one; and gave me the related paperwork. I would definitely do business with them again and have recommended them to my neighbors on our local website.

The plumber that came smelled extremely strongly of cigarettes, I had to open my window to cope with it. I was charged $40 for the part, and later found that the part was actually only about $13. That being said, they did resolve the leaking toilet issue.
