I was happy to see that Sal's Heating and Cooling was the "big deal" provider, as this company had just done a very fine job installing a humidifier for my furnace. The technicians were fast, thorough, very competent, and very pleasant people. They replaced 20 feet of corroded tubing to get from the outside faucet into the basement. They kept me informed through every step of the process and explained each aspect of the work very clearly. Their work was beautiful, they were not at all disruptive, they left things neat, and it all looks - and works great. I'm impressed with this company and will definitely call them again.

They are professional, clean and they showed up on time. They are friendly and in the case of the air conditioner, the owner Sal came out to talk to me to figure out my options. They are very thorough about explaining what they are going to do as far as maintenance and follow up. I don’t have anything bad to say about them.

ROY and ALLEN (from Sal's Heating & Cooling) were great! They kept in communication about their arrival time, and came to the house in a timely fashion. They were pleasant and professional. The toilet was fixed in a no-nonsense manner, and was done so quickly that I was amazed!! It helped that I went to home depot, and purchased the parts needed BEFORE the workmen came..so, all that they needed to do was install it. Love it when a company does exactly what it promises, when it promises. WILL CALL AGAIN. :)

This was a special $99 offer for 2 hours of plumbing work. When I scheduled the appointment I told them that the 2 faucets were motion sensor on/off in case a more experienced plumber would be required. The 2 young men were inexperienced, one not even able to remove an existing faucet. They arrived at 2PM and at a little after '3PM advised I would have to pay overtime on top over regular time after 4PM. Their office said no, just regular hourly rate ($99/hour) after the 2 hour special. They finished about 6 PM - 4 hours to change out 2 faucets!! So, I paid three times as much then the "$99" offer. Shortly after they left, birth sinks were leaking. I called the next day and they sent a good plumber to my house. He fixed the one sink and found a part missing for the other sink. I complained about the ineptitude of the young men from previous day. The plumber then revealed he is the boss of the young men and said the job was over their heads. Anyway, he told me to order the part from the manufacturer and reschedule. He said it was his plumbers fault so no further charges to complete the job properly. After getting the necessary part (weeks later) I called and they wanted to charge me to have the job completed. I was furious. The owner got on the phone and after arguing with him. He finally understood what I was saying and agreed to no charge. The boss over service came out again and dud great completing the job. He actually found the part had been there all along - it had just been put in the wrong way by the original young men sent to do the job. I should have gotten a refund of at least one of those hours I was charged for. Except for the boss of service Tony, I was NOT happy with any other personnel from this company.

Service was as expected based on the deal purchase. The workmen were friendly, professional and performed the job as stated. They were considerate enough to wear shoe covers and put up with my pets. Scheduling was also easy and the office staff were friendly and helpful.

Tony fixed my leaking laundry tub faucet, and showed me what to tighten if it starts leaking again. I thought the faucet might need to be replaced, but he explained that on the older brass faucets, almost everything can be fixed. Tony had advised me on his previous visit that he could install an under-sink water filter for me, so that was the next thing I had lined up for this two-hour service deal. However, I was also wanting a garbage disposal, so I had one of those on hand as well. I had the wiring and switch added for one 13 years ago, but had never had one installed because every plumber I talked to was very reluctant. I told Tony that if he and Matt could do it, we'd try to do the water filter ourselves. He said that was not a problem, and he and Matt went to work installing it. I went back to work in my office, and when they told me they were done, I came back to find they had installed both the garbage disposal AND the water filter!! That just made my day! They didn't even use the entire two hours of the service deal. That's a win-win for everybody!

The technician was friendly and efficient. He advised me that I needed new media in my Space-Gard air filter, which I expected. It's been a while since it was replaced. There's really not much I can say about an A/C check on a unit that Sal's installed 3-1/2 years ago, other than everything still seems to be great.

Work was performed adequately and everything seems to be functioning just fine. Office staff did not keep me updated about when the workers would arrive to do the job. Workers were supposed to arrive sometime in the morning, but did not arrive until 2:00 PM (This caused a bit of stress since I blocked out the whole day and I had to be somewhere by 6:00 PM). They did recognize this and sent additional workers to try and get the job done as quick as possible. There were also several add-on items that I wasn't asked about until the job had already begun and these questions should have been asked in advance (drain pan, expansion tank).

They called a half hour before they came. They came when they said they would. They offered a way to fix the problem in a much less expensive way. We're very have with the service they provided both times. We will use them again is a new problem arises.

I had Angie's List call them first to make sure they'd honor the Deal toward my storm drain pipes. They confirmed it so I scheduled the appointment. When they came out, they were punctual and did a great job, but told me the only way to get the pipes cleared was to hydro-jet which wasn't included in the offer. I went into this expecting to pay $99 for the Deal, but then was charged $338 in additional costs to get the hydro-jetting so it was quite a surprise!

Workers arrived on time. They were courteous and professional. They installed the water heater and a valve that was needed. This was the fourth time Sal's has done work for me and I received the professional service that I have now come to expect.

Once they examined both toilets, the determination was to change the water pump. I paid only for the parts, the labor was paid with the coupon. The plumbers were professional and courteous.

Went perfectly - very pleased. All my questions were answered - I was advised on workings and maintenance of the pump and battery. Job was completed quickly and cleanly.

Their sales person was very good. He explained everything to us without being pushy. The service people were wonderful. They were neat & courteous. They were here on time. They were absolutely great.

Terrible. Spent all this time trying to fix the bathroom faucet and couldn't do it. Still charged me for basically nothing. After talking with customer service they agreed to give me 50% of the charges back. So I gave them a B for customer service.

The staff was excellent and their communication was very good- they put everything in English which I really appreciated. They looked for issues beyond what they were there for which was fine. They were a nice service to have here.

Went well despite some roadblocks caused by very old outdated faucets. Plumber used some ingenuity to install kitchen faucet and it is working well. Will definitely consider using again. Very pleasant and extremely helpful employee.

Gerry arrived a few minute late having already called in the morning to confirm our appointment. He was very professional, great with the dog(!), and listened to my concerns and questions. He got on with the job in a professional manner. At the end, he walked me thought everything he had done and answered my tonne of questions (we are new US homeowners so sump pumps are not something we are used to!). He showed me a brand new pump so I could better understand how it worked, and provided a likely reason for why our infernal waste water pump is so noisy (to do with a floating float, not a fixed float!). He suggested a way to make it quieter. All-in-all a very good experience, and I feel I got very good value for money with the voucher. Would definitely use again.

I'm very satisfied with the service I received from Sal's. The only 'glitch' is that Angie's had a 'rapid connect' button associated with the deal, and although I tried to use it, I got an email message from Sal's that the 'rapid connect' doesn't really work for scheduling purposes, and I should call to schedule. That wasn't a problem, and I only mention it here to save someone else some confusion. So I called and scheduled for a couple days later. I preferred morning but not too early, so service was scheduled for 'after 10' and I was told I'd get a call about 30 minutes before they were to arrive. The evening before I received a confirmation call, and about 10:30 I received a 'heads-up' call that the gentlemen were on the way. Both men were very pleasant, professional, and efficient. My old disposal was removed and the new one installed in about 30 minutes. The only improvement I could suggest would be to offer this service at a lower price. I considered buying the disposal myself and just purchasing an hour of plumbing labor to have it installed, and next time I'd probably do that as I could have saved some money that way. I will most likely use Sal's again for other plumbing work, and maybe for heating/cooling too.
