I have waited about a year to post this, to ensure everything is working well over time. Everything is working well. Listened to me in developing the bid......came with a couple different options. Nice job with installation, ductwork, air and exhaust piping. Did a nice job explaining the operation of th AC and furnace. The Goodman brand has been performing well after one year.

He did an excellent job cleaning it. He really knew how to take apart the old furnace and did a safety check on it. I was worried that I created a problem when I was dusting, but they told me that it was probably just dust that was changing the flame color to turn yellow. The flame has been the proper blue color since he came out to clean. I appreciate that he didn't just try to sell me a new furnace, which other companies in the past have done.

The work went well. They were very prompt. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very knowledgeable. The quality of their work was good. I?ll definitely use them again in the future.

They offer pro-rated service contract, so, you can go for as many years as you want and it is an incredible savings. What I really appreciate about them is that I don't have to worry about the maintenance work. They are very punctual, always contact me before coming and come over as per my convenience. If they think there is anything to be done above & beyond, they would let me know what is covered under my service contract. They are very pro-active about the efficiency of my heating & A/C unit.

I came to know of L K Heating & Cooling through Angie?s List. They were not the cheapest, but they seemed to know their job. They had reworked on all of my duct work, and the house now cools very evenly. It never used to happen this way earlier. With the work that they have done my basement has become neater. Earlier the duct work used to hang very low. Now it is all very organized and tidy. They had done a very nice job on the duct work.

Very good. The price was right and the work was done at a professional level.

They show up when they say, they keep their appointments, their prices are reasonable, and they don't do unnecessary work.

They were professional, courteous, and thorough. The price was slightly high, but I picked them because of the brand name and because I knew the company.

The guy who gave the estimate seemed to be very thorough, which was a big contributor in choosing them to do the job. They were professional, courteous, and they cleaned up. The furnace is working fine.

The two workmen arrived on time and were very courteous. They laid down cover over the carpet(my furnace room is off the living room in my condo). They worked about 7 hours the first day, removing both the old furnace and air conditioner and installing the new furnace and thermostat. They confirmed that the furnace was operating properly before they left. They also showed me a few things(how to change the filter, how to reset, what the blinking light meant)and provided owner paperwork. The next day they returned, again on time and pleasant. There was a little more work to do on the furnace, but most of the half day they were there was setting up the new air conditioner. They tested it and told me about a "spring start-up" which I should schedule before warm weather so someone could come out and verify the air conditioner was in fact OK. They cleaned up before they left and thanked me for my business.

They did a great job. They also cleaned the humidifier and made sure everything was working properly. Have always been responsive and courteous. Never had any problems, have always been friendly.

Decided on L K Heating and Cooling Inc., after checking Angie's List for a service company with no sub contractors. Called for an appointment and they came right on time. The man who came (forgot his name)out was on time, was easy going and took his time to answer all our questions. He was here for one hour. There were no other estimates. We new of other people who used this company. They did a complete clean up.

After estimates from several companies, we decided to go with LK. The sales person was professional and knowledgeable. They gave me several options since I didn't know if I wanted a heat pump or an air conditioner. After researching all the companies, LK appeared to have the best and most reliable service and about the same price. They arrived at the time and date they promised and did the work promptly. They explained how everything worked. The final price came in slightly higher as I asked them to seal the duct work in the basement. They also noticed that we needed a new filter. They did not have the right size filter so they had to come back another time. They also had not received the outdoor temperature sensor needed for the heat pump but they installed in when they returned with the filter. The workers were professional.

They have been unusually helpful. They give the personal touch of the small town provider to their work. I feel they do their best to help me. They have been very reliable and quick to respond if we need help. I never felt overcharged when I receive the bill.

Went fine, furnace has been operating fine ever since. Ken did say that he would have charged time and a half except that we already have a service contract with LK.

The work was done when promised, on-time and for the amount of the estimate. However, there was a problem with the new A/C unit. Two additional trips to our house were needed over the next week to find the defective part. The defective part was found, replaced and there was no additional charge.

I started only with high rated companies from Angie's List and immediately saw the benefit of Angie's List. The representative was punctual for the estimate, polite, and thorough. He gave lots of information, answered all questions I had, and left with a promise of mailing quotes in a few days (which he did). I wasn't sure whether I wanted high or low efficiency (80+ or 90+) nor whether I wanted single stage, dual stage, or dual variable speed, and he had no hesitation drawing up the price for all six combinations (3 x 2). He was friendly and conversational but not did not have a heavy sales pitch or fake "your friend the salesman" kind of quality. He answered a lot of follow-up questions as well without ever making me feel like I was bothering him. The installers were friendly and courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and were done in two days. They did a very professional job. The overall experience was very pleasant for such a large purchase. Highly recommended.

We have them out continually and they don't seem to understand the system. They are prompt and they keep trying things. However, they don't fix it. We also use them for general maintenance on our other heating system and have no issues with them with that service.

Theyre prompt, excellent. Very very professional. Do not remember cost.

I called and they had someone out within an hour. It would have been nice to be told the fee before the work was performed.

Overall the company satisfied me, although I was not happy with the technician. The technician arrived with the part. He was going to check the entire furnace, but I told him that he just needed to replace the motor since I'd had a furnace repair and cleaning last spring by his company. His company also had worked on my A/C in the summer (2 months ago) and had given me an estimate for the parts & time to replace the motor. He replaced the part, tested it and put the furnace back together, but it took him 1 1/2 hours while the estimate had been for 15-30 minutes. (I cleaned the inside fan blades to help speed up the process while he replaced the motor). After he completed the work, he brought in the bill at $335 while the estimate had been for $140 parts + $60 labor. After calling the office, they honored the part pricing on the estimate and I paid for his time. I will use the company again, but I will not that technician again.

Furnace had not been serviced (cleaned) in almost 2 years. Decided to try LK after reading about them on Angie's List. The company I used previously always told me a new part was needed. Furnace should have been cleaned out when air ducts were cleaned last year. The service man (Ken) was very nice. He did a very thorough job of cleaning the furnace. So thorough that he found an old dead rat under the filters. I was so shocked that I forgot to ask for my Angie's discount, but very happy that he found it (and it was dead). He thought the duct cleaning company could have done a better job of cleaning. He also gave me some advice on my hot water heater, which was very helpful. He did not recommend cleaning, due to setup of the outlet, but did notice a drip at the top. He recommended fixing, but would require another service call (I believe due to time factor). No parts were needed for the furnace. I would definitely recommend LK Heating & Cooling.

We have had the same technician every year for our furnace tune-ups. He is friendly and efficient. They always let you know within the hour when they will be arriving. The air condition was repaired by a different technician who was willing to answer my many questions while continuing to work. He was polite and worked quickly.
