L K Heating & Cooling

It went very well. I came home from work and my furnace wasn't working. They came at 7:45 pm. Even though they were just out for an annual check-up several weeks prior, I did not get a discount for that. I called and asked about it but believe they were going to call me back about it but I didn't hear anything back. But I was still happy that he fixed the problem. I will continue to use L K Heating & Cooling as I have an older furnace. This technician was familiar with older furnaces and I will ask for him again but you don't always get a choice in the technician.

Two separate service techs were involved. The problem was not completely resolved with the first visit, but a subsequent visit on the same day seemed to correct my issues. Both times, my call to LK was addressed quickly and the service response was very satisfactory. Both gentlemen who worked on my furnace were well familiar with the problem and what needed to be done, but it is an old system and it likely didn't respond to well to the first fix tried. Currently, a day later, the unit seems to be working as it should. LK originally installed, and has serviced my furnace for more than two decades. My experience with this company has always been good.

Woke up this morning to the smell of gas in the whole house. Gas company came out and said the (small) leak was from the furnace (they showed me the particular area). Called L K Heating and Cooling because they are local and have good reviews on here. Very nice woman answered the phone, and after explaining my problem, she said they would have someone here in an hour! Showed up right around the hour mark, were very nice and professional. After I showed them what the gas company showed me, they immediately figured it was a bad gas valve. Took the time to explain to me why a bad gas valve would cause the symptoms I was seeing. They didn't have the part with them, but called around and found it was available. They gave me the price for the part to make sure I was ok with it, and I told them to go for it. Worked around my schedule for a return time later in the day, right on time again, and replaced the part within 30 minutes. Final cost was a little hard to swallow for someone like me that typically fixes everything himself, but when it comes to a gas leak, I didn't want to mess around. Overall a very good experience and I would use them again.

Called and they were here within 30 minutes. Went back to their shop to get parts and had my furnace up and running within an hour and a half from when I called. Very courteous and well mannered. They even gave me a few tips on better heating my home. I am very pleased with their service.

Approx 45 min late. Called twice and told both times they were on their way. Never called to say they were running late!! When they did show up at my sister's home they stated that they were running late due to having to take their child to preschool/daycare. Your service representative definitely we NOT ON TIME!

They were very thorough, friendly, spent a few hours with me to go over the various options, and referred other people to us for more work. They were also punctual, finished the job on time, and cleaned up well. The workmen were courteous, polite, and very business-like. They were also not pushy and didn't try to sell us something we didn't want, and the price was very reasonable.

They were pretty much on time and very professional. They explained me my options and quoted me the best price. I had heard positive reviews about them so I went with them. They came in here and they did a great job. It was not shabby at all, I looked at the work, and they did really good work. Everything was positive overall, even with their customer service on phone, it was very good. The price was very good.

I received an estimate which was the best estimate out of all. In addition, they did not try to upsell me on anything. They were very upfront and though others had given me bids and recommended larger (more expensive) units, they were honest and told me what I really needed for the size of my home. Things were done how they said they would be, and I have had no problems ever since. I have called them and they have recommended other people for work that they did not do, such as cleaning air ducts and these merchants were also top notch performers.

LK is reliable, professional and prompt. The technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. I trust their expertise in diagnosis and repair. Their prices are competitive. They clean up after the job. They are my go to heating and air conditioning company and will remain so in the future. I have peace of mind when the job is complete.

When we contacted them, they came out quickly and provided a firm estimate. Less than a week past from first contact to complete system installation. They were meticulous and ensured air output was balanced throughout our home. They are the only ones we will use and have recommended them to family and friends.The even helped by completing the energy company rebate forms for us.

Showed up on time, did work in time estimated & were very efficient & professional. Got guaranty to return in spring to test central air since it was too cold to test at installation. Would call again for future work.

We were VERY impressed with L & K from start to finish! The salesman was nice, not pushy, knowledgeable. The installers were great guys. Hard workers who were very professional and personable. Plus, my dog loved them and they loved him. LOL We'll definaely use L&K for our future HVAC needs!

I actually found out about L K Heating & Cooling on Angie's List. The pricing was comparative with everyone else we checked out. I will give them an "A" all across the board.

I checked L-K Heating & Cooling out on Angie's List and found them to have a high rating. I called and made an appointment to have my heat pump cleaned and checked since I had moved in one year ago and hadn't had it done. The technician was very professional and kept me informed of every step in the process. He said my heat pump, although an older model, was in good operating condition.

We did not pay anything as we have signed up for an annual contract with them as they are very good. They always call us to remind us that it is time for the spring or the winter check. They know that we like to be the first customer of the day. So, they call us to check if the appointment date and the appointment time that they have works for us. They don't always try to sell us things and replace things. They tell us as to what is necessary and we decide whether or not we need to repair or replace which we think is very important as we are in a very frugal time. Every one of their service technicians that has been in our house has been clean and friendly. They work clean and they work friendly. They are very competitive in terms of their pricing unless you hired some guy who does it out of the back of his truck. The heating and cooling contractors deal with the same material as there is a standard in this industry. I and my husband decided that the Columbia Gas which is our local gas company, come in and do an energy audit in our home. One of the positive things that they said was that our furnace was in an excellent condition and that it was burning above its standard rate. They advised us to never change the company that has been servicing the furnace as they were doing a great job.

Called this morning and was promised a visit before the end of the day but instead they were able to come out within a couple of hours because of rain in the forecast for later in the day. The technician, John, was very thorough, professional, and explained what happened. He was able to perform the service with only a minor part replacement and the unit works as good as new. He also offered suggestions on how to keep the unit in top operating shape without overselling. I would feel comfortable recommening this company to anyone that had problems with heating or cooling.

I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment to repair my air conditioning. They explained that they were very busy, but that they would probably be able to come out on Saturday. They promised to call. So, I waited at my home all day Saturday, unable to leave, or do anything away from the phone. By the end of the day, there was no call. It doesn't bother me that they couldn't come out. I understand that. But I should have received a call telling me that they would be unable to make the appointment and reschedule. When I called on Monday, I was told I must have misunderstood and that they would have only called if there was time in their schedule. Just an overall poor experience. Their work may be excellent, but I am totally unimpressed with their customer service.

I have been using them since a very long time. They are very responsive. Whenever we have called with an issue or a problem, they are there within a few hours. I think they are very professional. They know what they are doing. They are willing to go a little above and beyond. We are in a relatively new home and within the first year of moving in, we asked them to come to service the air conditioning. They came out and placed the platform upon which the air conditioning was sitting. It had moved. They actually found some rocks and things from the next door to fix it. They were willing to take that extra step which I appreciate. We see them usually twice a year during the fall and spring. They are very responsive.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from LK Heating & Cooling. Their pricing was competitive and their sales representative was very professional and customer-focused. The installation crew was extremely capable and the work was completed on time and exceeded my expectations.

I thought that the price was fair and they did a good job. Overall it went great. The guys who came out were very personable.

I called LK at 8:30 AM and they were here within an hour. Dave was very nice and very professional. I showed him where the water leak was coming from and he immediately diagnosed the problem. The drain pipe was blocked and backing up. He blew out the drain and installed a "T" so if is ever happened again, I could tke care of it myself. Great Job!!
