American Wood Reface

We met with Leanne in April and talked about the AWR process, made our choices and, because we had already investigated other similar companies decided quickly to go with American Wood Reface. Within a couple of months Terry came out to take precise measurements and go over specific details in order that all the materials could be ordered and ready for our start date of October. The cabinets were refaced in the color White Dove; the center island was refaced in a contrasting color (sage green); a built-in desk and cabinet above were removed and replaced with a custom built pantry with a microwave cubby; two cabinets were moved six inches to accommodate a 6-burner gas range and a hood above; the dark granite was replaced with light colored Cambria quartz (Crowndale); all cabinets were extended to the ceiling to alleviate the need to clean above & crown molding added; new pulls installed on all drawers & doors; pots & pans drawers installed; LED undercabinet lighting added; subway tile backsplash installed; and a two bowl stainless sink installed. All of this was accomplished by one master carpenter, Brandon, who worked Saturdays and even one Sunday to complete the job in the projected time. He cleaned the kitchen work area each evening so that we could use it if we had needed, which we did not during the renovation. The garage work area was cleaned and all tools/saws stowed each evening so we could park in the garage. His attention to detail in all areas of the work was exemplary. The price Leanne quoted is the price we paid! We are thrilled with our new, bright kitchen!

I am BLOWN away at the kitchen makeover. The final result is so much more than I expected. The process was very smooth from start to finish. It took 2 days to complete and the installers (Carlos and Rob) were awesome! I would HIGHLY recommended this company to reface your cabinets!!!

Very pleased with the kitchen renovation done by American Wood Reface. The process was smooth from the first meeting with Ron, the salesman, to the final measurements by Jason, the owner, to the final work day as Scott, the carpenter completed the installation. Such a plus to be able to deal with one company for the entire renovation. Selecting cabinet style and trim, hardware, Cambria quartz countertop, undercabinet lighting and sink style were all done in the convenience of our home. Because of Covid, it was so helpful not to have to go out from store to store selecting each of the components. Ron had samples of the cabinets, trim, quartz, and hardware so we could see what our choices would look like together. Scott proved to be an excellent carpenter and truly professional. He managed his time well [even completing the work earlier than predicted], and cleaned up the areas every day so the kitchen appliances could be used for dinner every evening. In addition to his outstanding carpentry skill, Scott accomplished the appliance installations with ease. The cabinet refacing is absolutely beautiful and very well crafted. We are pleased with all of our choices and very satisfied with the quality of the product. We were given a two-week time frame for the entire renovation and the work was completed in a week and a half. We are happy to recommend American Wood Reface and Jason Hicks, the owner.

We were extremely impressed with our initial contact-Marissa, sales rep-Leanne, estimator/measurement, and finished carpenters-Derek and Jeff. Since I own two local services firms, I place tremendous value on employees, and AWR has outstanding employees throughout their organization, which is a major reason for their success. The communication was regular, and any minor issues/changes were quickly identified and resolved. The coordination for the quartz counter tops was smooth and seamless. The project was completed sooner due to the focused efforts of Derek and Jeff. They are very detailed oriented, responsive and are high quality professionals that are easy to work with, besides being very nice guys. The quality of the materials coupled with the added ease of use and functionality were even more important than just the modern look of the cabinets. The 3 rooms look great, and friends and family have all commented on the fantastic job done by AWR. My wife and I would highly recommend them for any cabinet related projects.

Ron was a wonderful salesman who walked us through all the steps in order to meet our needs in our kitchen.He went out of his way to provide me with a sample of the wood to make my paint & counter choices. Mark was the carpenter/installer and he was a very efficient and very professional in his craft. I highly recommend this company. Love my kitchen now!

• I am very well pleased with the work completed by American Wood Reface. The work completed included the installation of under cabinet lighting and complete reface of all kitchen cabinets. Roger was absolutely excellent. Roger is personable, answering any questions we had. The work was performed efficiently and Roger kept both the kitchen and his work area in our garage neat and cleaned them at the end of each work day. We are very pleased with Roger and his workmanship. I am a former director of construction at a major international airport and was suitably impressed with the quality of the work completed. This review is being posted after our initial review in January. Shortly after Derek completed our beautiful new kitchen, we experienced a water issue in our home. To our dismay, properly resolving the issue meant removing a good amount of the finishing work around the newly refaced cabinets. Our salesman Ron immediately responded to my inquiry about repairs and put me in touch with Eric. Eric got back to us the same day, and we were on the schedule for a repair within a couple of weeks. Pat did the repair and we are so pleased to say our beautiful kitchen is good as new. Thank you again AWR for helping us during this stressful time. Your service and high quality work is truly appreciated.

Working with American Wood Reface from the initial consult with Mary Jo, through the final day our carpenter Patrick was here was a pleasure. Mary Jo was thorough, had helpful suggestions and made the planning easy. Patrick was timely, we knew exactly what to expect each day of work, left a clean kitchen each evening and job finished on time. Highly recommend.

Great communication, attention to detail, professionalism

We had a bathroom vanity refaced (in white) and American Wood Reface did an excellent job. Their products are high quality and the installer was very professional and did an excellent job. Their sales presentation are very informative but there are no sales pressure tactics. Communications before, during and after the job are excellent. After our experience with the bathroom vanity, we will be having American Wood Reface come back to reface our kitchen cabinets and we prefer their all wood refacing techniques as well as their selection of woods and finishes as well as hardware. If you are considering a cabinet refacing project, I strongly recommend that you check them out and compare their products with the competitors!

American Wood Reface came to our home several times to assist us with selecting among our options and then amending our order when we changed our minds. All phone calls and e-mails received prompt responses. The quality of the craftsmanship was outstanding. They even noticed 2 door panels had very slight blemishes. They took them out and replaced them with new panels. They always showed up when they were scheduled to be here. We could not be more pleased with American Wood Reface or the finished product.

My wife and I recently had AWR reface our kitchen cabinets and island. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome. They were the most expensive, but totally worth it for the outstanding customer service and beautiful, high quality product we received. Finally, I would like to note that, during this pandemic, it can feel strange to have people in your home doing sales calls, measuring and remodeling. The process from beginning to end was very smooth. Ron walked us through the process then took the time to look at options when selecting materials. Jason did the measurements and gave suggestions to add to the project that improved the efficiency and look of the remodel and Scott completed the work within the timeline. Scott cleaned up each day and kept the intrusion and debris to a minimum allowing us the use of our kitchen each evening. We did a lot of research and had many contractors and companies give quotes. Hands down, American Wood Reface has the best value for the money. Our kitchen is beautiful and we look forward to many years enjoying it.

Excellent from beginning to end. The carpenter, Brandon, was exceptional, leaving the kitchen clean every night and kept things very organized in the garage as well. Melissa, the sales rep, did a great job at helping me make selections on cabinets and counters to achieve the look I wanted, and the granite company they worked with to install the counters was very solid as well. No complaints whatsoever.

It was a fantastic experience! Work perform by Patrick , what a perfectionist. Ron was also a pleasure to work with narrowing down what we were looking to accomplish. The overall experience was great and would definitely use them again

Patrick was my carpenter and did an awesome job! Respectful of my time and home. He cleaned up every night to make it livable and had great attention to detail. Leann was my salesperson - very knowledgeable and weighed in when i was indecisive. No pressure at all. Terry helped with pre-work for the job and was also great to work with.

Great job all the way around! They matched the wood and finish of our existing custom pantry doors, and did an exacting job with the installation. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and professional. We challenged them to come up with something different and they exceeded our expectations.

American Wood Reface Last week or carpenter Derek finished refacing our over 60 year old custom kitchen. Derek did an absolutely fabulous job measuring, cutting and trimming the reface for a perfectly seamless appearance. Every day he laid down protective coverings on our counter tops and floors and completely cleaned up the work area. The fit and finish of the new doors and drawers was just perfect and of the highest quality. The drawer slides and concealed hinges were also of the highest quality, made in Austria, not China. So my wife and are completely thrilled and satisfied with the quality of our new kitchen, the skill and craftsmanship of their carpenter and the professionalism of their salesman and detail designer.
