Excellent attention to detail. Did a great job on the entry, hall, living, dining and kitchen areas. Had to match up original flooring and you would never know. They are professional and know and understand hardwood. Would definitely hire again.

The rep arrived to quote on the job without a mask and when I requested that he wear one, he gave me a hassle and said masks are a scam and if you don't like it, find yourself another company and walked out.

Jim and his group did a great job.

They made some new hardwood flooring and they stained the old flooring and added new flooring and stained the old flooring and then stained it in the same color. It went very well. They did a great job. they we're responsive and they have a reasonable price and they did a good job.

I have hired this company for many projects at my rental houses and my personal residence. Whether it was installing new hardwood and blending it in to match the old or just refinishing the existing hardwood, they always completed the job on time or within a day of quoted job time, they have called me back for any inquiries, and have completed the work beautifully!

Outstanding work! Our home looks great. Jim Brewer and his team were great to work with and did an incredible job. Jim’s crew are very knowledgeable and kept us inform on the do’s and don’t of how we needed to treat the flooring for the weeks to come after they finished. I have suggested them to many friends so far. I hope they all follow through and call Jim. It will be well worth it.

He came over to the house to look at the work needed done and give us an estimate. He said he would call us the next day with an estimate and we never heard from him. My husband called and left two messages which were not returned. Very unprofessional and very disappointing. I expected an A graded company to at least follow up as promised.

Lloyd's refinished all the floors in the house when we moved into the house in 2004. We switched from the light stain on oak to a natural stain, and the floors came out beautifully. Recently, we discovered that an old area rug had been disintegrating slowly. Pieces of glue or carpet backing had come off the rug, onto the floor. Although we had a pad between the floor and rug, it was pourous. Pressure from the office chair on top of the carpet had combined with the worn carpet backing to wear off the finish on the oak floor. We called Kenny on a Wednesday, and he was able to come and give us an estimate on Thursday. His assessment was that we had worn only the finish off the floor, and it would not need to be restained. He recommended we have the room recoated, so that the repaired area would not be visibly different from the 9 yr old finish around it. We wanted to get the work done quickly since we had the room cleared out for painting. He was able to come out the next day, and showed up 5 or 10 minutes early. He and his partner screened the floors, vacuumed, and recoated the floors and were done within 2 hours. They cleaned up after themselves. Kenny gave us directions for how long to wait to walk on it, and how long to wait to place furniture on it. It looks terrific.

I was disappointed with the service. I thought they were nice at first and they were the lowest bid. I trusted them and thought they would do a good job but when the work was done. I have learned some lesson 1 do not pay until you see the work completed and 2 to be around when the work is being performed. The new hardwood had chips and there was about 50 of them. They should of filled them in and stained them but they did not. I called them and they came out and they said to me "What do I want done." and his wife walked out and he said to me after she walked out. He said I was being picky. I asked him to leave my house until my brother-in- law showed up and he said "Just forget it.". He got upset and I asked him if this is how you want to handle it. My brother-in-law pointed out things that should had never been used. He said he could fix it and left me a voicemail saying he did the best he could do. I told him I never should of paid him. I have people coming in my house and they cannot believe it. Don't go by the cheapest. This is a hard lesson that I have to learn and definitely do not pay them until the work is performed and I would never recommend them.

Kenny came out (with assistant) to take measurements and provide quote. Quote was promptly delivered. Lloyd's was the best price of four bids and several referrals from friends reassured me of Lloyd's quality. During the pricing process, Kenny was particularly helpful explaining some of the smaller issues I had and the need for fingering the old and new hardwood even though it was more work. He was confident in his ability to deliver the highest level of satisfaction. Othe bidders did not want to properly integrate the existing flooring and was higher cost. The job required removal of all the furnishings from the first floor, which we did ourselves. The crew from Lloyds removed and reinstalled the refrigerator, stove and powder room toilet. The integration of the old and new floors were interlaced to avoid the appearance of the work being performed at different times. Stain samples were prepared for the color and finish selection process. New toe moldings finished the floor to our existing baseboards. The completed floor looks great. You can't tell the new work from the original hardwood areas. Stain and 3 coats of polyurethane, provided a hard durable finish that sailed through the first year of use without problems and it is easy to keep the floor clean. They finished the floors within the estimated time and did a very good job cleaning up after themselves. If I were to need additional Hardwood flooring work done, I would definitely use Lloyd's again. I have referred Lloyd's Hardwood Flooring to two other friends during the past year and they too were very satisfied with the quality of workmanship, care and attention that this contractor exhibits and their pricing. It is always a joy to experience the work of caring craftsmen!

Their pricing was fine. They were very much professional and on time. They did high quality work and I liked them.

Other than they were usually late and the owner never showed up as promised, it went quite well. However they never covered all my air vents and quite a bit of dust went into my ducy system. Now I have to hire my air ducts cleaned

My particular situation was far more difficult than most as the previous time my floors were finished, someone used a lacker/varnish that was extremely thick and it gummed up normal floor sanders within minutes even using the roughest of grit. Lloyd's wasn't the cheapest I was quoted, but they were close--however they offered to put 3 coats of polyurethane, where the cheapest quote only offered 2. Additionally I was comfortable with Lloyds competencey level due to prior feedback and discussion during visit for quote. During the process, Kenny was particularly helpful explaining some of the smaller issues I had, and convincing me that I should choose a different shade of stain given the type and condition of my floors, also considering that I will be using the unit as a rental. He couldn't have been more right. The floors look spectacular. They finished the floors in the estimated time and did a very good job cleaning up after themselves. There was no sign of sanddust anywhere. If I were to need additional Hardwood flooring work done, I would definitely use Lloyd's again.

Lloyd's did an excellent job. Lloyd came to the house and did the estimate. Lloyd (over 50 years in the hardwood business) explained how the work was going to be done and the timeframe needed to complete the job. Lloyd also gave me a tutorial on coatings and gave the pros and cons to each type of coating. I chose an oil based polyurethane due to it's wearabilty versus a water based product. The price was very competitive (I received a quote from 4 venders). I sheduled the job to begin on a Wednesday at 8:00. Ken King (Lloyds business partner) and his crew of 4 were there at 8:00 a.m. and began the work. On that first day after the sanding and first coat of urethane the crew was out of the house by 1:00 pm and told me that they would be back in the morning by 9:30 as they had to finish another job. On Thursday the crew was there by 9:15 and began work After screening, adding the new oak shoe molding and applying the second coat they were out by 12:00. On Friday they started at 8:00 and were out of the house by 10:00. The floors look great. Ken and his crew were professional, friendly and competent. Before the crew left Ken asked me how I was going to put the stove and refrigerator back on the floor. Ken volunteered to return on Monday with a piece of masonite to place on the floor to move the refrigerator back into position so I would not mark up the floor doing it by myself. They did not charge me anything extra for this extra trip. A week later after I placed an Island in the kitchen I decided to place shoe molding around the island to match the shoe molding in the kitchen. I went the the big box stores to buy oak shoe molding to match and could not find an oak molding that matched. I emailed Lloyd's Hardwood Flooring explaining my problem and asked to puchase matching shoe molding to install myself. No problem, Ken brought out some shoe molding the next morning.....NO CHARGE. I'm retired from the construction business and have used many subs. This was the first time I hired Lloyd's and they turned out to be one of the best. Highly recommended.

From the first phone call to the end clean up, Ken's team did a wonderful job. Ken did the visit for the estimate and answered all my questions. He also provided helpful information for me to make the best decision. I appreciated the fact that he knew about older homes and the style and appointments. His team, mostly family members, arrived on time and went right to work. They were very polite and very careful. I moved out of the house for the duration and we communicated by email and phone. The floors look wonderful.

They were very professional, friendly and they do a really good job at refinishing floors. The dust clean up was great. There was no dust at all.

Kenny and a helper did the work. They arrived on time, went right at it, and did a very nice job. The floors turned out very well. Kenny is very easy to deal with, and seems happy to answer all questions. Kenny advised that hardwood floors should have a new coat of polyurethane every 5 to 7 years. This is not a complete stripping but just a mild sanding, and then polyurethane coating. The machine incorporates vacuum equipment and there is surprisingly little dust. The job took only about an hour, but, you do have to stay off of the flooring for a full twenty-four hours after. In the case of a complete stripping and restaining, the process requires three days, so almost has to be done while you’re out of town, and obviously costs more. I think it’s worth keeping up with the 5 to 7 year maintenance program; otherwise the wood starts looking dull, and spills and scratches are eventually going to damage it; then you’ll be looking at the major restaining job, like it or not. I would highly recommend Lloyds. The process will go smoothly and professionally, and you’ll be pleased with the results when those twenty-four hours are up.

I got their name from a neighbor, they did their floor and they were incredible so I wanted to look into them for my home; they are very professional and very nice and obviously do great work (my neighbors), but since this was an insurance claim they came in high for the labor costs compared to another quote. So we did not go with this company but they seems great.

It was a great experience. The floor look beautiful and the price was really good and they were really very nice and finished the job in the time schedule that we had. They were there every day on time and helped us on an extra job we had, they were really good people.

These are all large areas. The price was very reasonable and they showed up on time, were polite and did a great job. I have had other companies do floors and I would only go with Lloyds in the future.

They did a superb job and did it over the top. Their prices were extremely reasonable. They have been in business for a long time now. Their prices were about 35% less than of another company we called for an estimate!
