 + -1 moreAndrea is a hands on decorator and is excellent at returning calls and giving me updates of the progress of the project as it progressed. She listened to my thoughts and suggestions about what I wanted for the room while at the same time utilizing her professional judgment to help maximize the best features of the room. For example, I initially though that I wanted top treatment window valances; she suggested fabric cornice boxes for all of the windows and long drapery panels for the end windows. Ultimately, this was a better complement to my transom windows and turned out wonderfully so I am glad she didn't utilize my suggestion. The room and final product is everything that I wanted and more. There is no way I could have pulled it together on my own. It came out better than I envisioned and I can?t believe it is in my house. It looks cohesive and professionally put together yet somehow it still reflects my personal touch.
Description of Work: Provided Interior Design Services for my Family Room/Great Room. Our home is new construction so Andrea had a blank slate to work with as far as paint color, carpet etc. My existing family room furniture did not work in our new family room great room. Andrea went with me to a local furniture store to help me select a leather sectional which complements the room and my stone fireplace, beautifully. I purchased the window treatments, end table, and coffee table and some mirrors through her. She also selected a paint color which coordinates wonderfully with the new furnishings and stone fireplace. She also went shopping with me to purchase some accessories that really tie the room together.
