There are custom builders. We found them to have exemplary customer service. They had a wonderful team of professionals who helped us. We walked in there with some concepts and we worked with their architect who was wonderful and of course with the building crew and with John Hueber himself. They have been really wonderful to work with. We bought a lot. They were one of the builders that were recommended. Although we could have gone with anybody, we came up with a little bit of a shortlist. We consulted our attorney and had him step around and ask other attorneys who had heard good things and other things about the builders. Two builders rose to the top very quickly, one of them being Hueber. We ended up interviewing the two builders and felt more comfortable with Hueber. We wanted to build a craftsman style home and Hueber seemed to have more experience with them. We are very happy with the finished product. It's exceeded our expectations in terms of their flexibility and willingness to help us execute our vision for the home. We had some very specific ideas about what we wanted to do and what we wanted it to look like. We had some specific vendors in mind that we wanted to use for some of the things like the floors and so forth. They were very accommodating. They acted like a custom builder, which of course they are. They were great to work with. The quality of the home is superb. They don't cut corners. The impression you get is that it's really about customer service and quality. We would use them again in the future if we needed to.
