Our second floor toilet overflowed for 2 hours one Saturday evening when we weren't home. The water damaged the carpet, hardwood floor, walls and ceiling in our basement, first floor and second floor. We did our best to clean up the water ourselves that evening. We called several other restoration companies the next morning (Sunday) to get an estimate for drying out the moisture but no one would come that day. We were very concerned about mold growing. Jason from 1-800-Water Damage was at our house within 90 minutes of contacting him. He surveyed the damage and immediately installed dryers and dehumidifiers all through our house. Most of the house was dry within 3-4 days but the entire drying process took 6 days. Jason came back each day to check the progress and make adjustments to the equipment to ensure the drying was proceeding quickly enough to prevent mold growth. The restoration/repair process was initiated through 1-800-Water Damage and they worked directly with our insurance company. The incident was very stressful however we were lucky to have Jason and 1-800-Water Damage to make us feel like we were in good hands. I would recommend them to anyone who has water damage.

Our sump pump stopped after a heavy rain and we discovered that our finished basement was wet. We contacted 1-800 Water Damage after 10pm and to our amazement they came out that night . After giving us an estimate based on insurance reimbursement guidelines they removed the trim, peeled back the carpet and set up their commercial fans and dehumifiers that night. They fully explained what they were doing and why. The fans and dehumidifiers were in place for three days with them physically checking in during the process. They made everything easy as they also scheduled the restoration and carpet cleaning and coordinated everything through my insurance company. I hope to never have to use them again but would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to a friend.

The Mold inspectors called me to let me know they were on their way. Jason and Alex showed up about 20 mins later, exactly when they said they would. WoW!After reading many SCARY things on the internet about MOLD (with a pregnant wife) , we were terrified that our house was like something that need contained like a scene from the movie E.T. Jason assured us every thing was OK. We had a minor issue. They walked our entire home... inspected everything. NO CHARGE! We decided to hire 1800waterdamage.com to clean up our small issue, even though we could have done it ourselves. We appreciated their time and professionalism. More importantly, we did not feel taken advantage of or scared into hiring their services.Thumbs up!

When the plumber saw that I did not have a burst pipe, and that the damage might be a foundation leak from the three weeks of hard rain that we have had, he recommended this company to take a look. He said they would clean up the water damage and tell me what to do next. The plumber( see Jim the Plumber's report) called them for me and they were here within the hour. Jason checked to see how far the water had traveled across the room with a peice of equipment, pulled back the carpet, went outside to check and found a small crack in the foundation. He recommended a company they work with frequently to call for the repair. Jason told me I had been doing a good job of keeping the water sucked up with my carpet scrubber and he didn't think I would need their services, b/c they didn't see any mold to take care off. They told me to get some ventillation going and cut away the wet pad and have it replaced. He thought everything would be OK if I did that, and got the leak fixed. They charged me nothing!!! I would highly recommend this company if you have water damage. They seem very knowledgeable. Thank You Jason!
