I USED ANOTHER COMPANY.
Description of Work: I CALLED NEW BUCK TO SCHEDULE A FIREPLACE/CHIMNEY INSPECTION. THE DAY OF THE APPT., THEY DID NOT ARRIVE IN THE 4-HR TIMEFRAME INDICATED. I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE RUNNING BEHIND BECAUSE THEY WERE SHORTHANDED. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED. I CALLED AGAIN AND LEFT A MESSAGE EXPLAINING I WAS VERY UNHAPPY AND ASKED THEM TO CALL ME BACK WITH AN EXPLANATION. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK.

Description of Work: I ARRANGED TO HAVE MY CHIMNEY SWEPT. INSTEAD EDDY CAME AND LOOKED IN MY CHIMNEY AND TOLD ME I NEEDED A $2800 LINER. I GOT SEVERAL MORE ESTIMATES AND WE FOUND OUT WE DID NOT NEED A LINER AT ALL. EDDY FROM NEW BUCK TOLD US THAT YOU COULD LOOK UP IN THE CHIMNEY AND SEE WHERE THE MORTER WAS GONE AND IT WAS NOT SAFE TO BURN A FIRE WITHOUT A LINER. HE ALSO TOLD ME WITHOUT A LINER I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SAY I HAD A WORKING FIREPLACE IF I WANTED TO SELL MY HOUSE IN FRANKLIN COUNTY. WE FOUND OUT THAT YOU COULD SEE NOTHING BY LOOKING UP OUR CHIMNEY BECAUSE THERE IS A LITTLE JOG IN IT AND IT WAS BLACK FROM NEEDING CLEANING. I FEEL THAT I WAS LIED TO AND THAT NEW BUCK WAS JUST TRYING TO SELL ME A LINER WHEN I DIDNT NEED ONE.
