Very professional - punctual, personable. James checked out our roof, talked with us a little bit and gave us a folder of his companies credentials - very impressive. We didn't get a quote, it was spoken we may go through our insurance and submit a claim due to wind damage.

We had some water spots on our ceiling after some heavy rains. James came out to inspect our roof for any damage. He was very responsive, detailed, honest and helpful. James did not find anything that needed repaired and gave me several reasons why I may have seen water. We received an estimate over the phone for the inspection and were prepared to pay that amount. At the end of the appointment, James charged us significantly less than we were quoted. I will definitely use him again in the future.

I needed a new roof and after checking Angie's List, chose this company due to its high ratings. Mike, from Ohio Exterior & Interior, showed up at our agreed upon time and after examining my roof, explained the issues that he saw with my roof and what was needed to replace it. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest and accommodated my schedule for additional meetings to discuss insurance claims, color and type of shingles, warranties, etc. Everything happened exactly has he said it would, material showed up when it was supposed to, workers were at my house on time, inspection follow-up, etc. The workers tore off the old roof and replaced the new one in one day and cleaned up afterward as promised.

The owner, James Green, came out to assess damage to our roof due to a wind storm. He informed us that the roof needed to be replaced. He dealt with our insurance company and set up a date to begin re-roofing. His crew arrived when they were scheduled and worked until dark, including a saturday and got our roof completed very quickly. The end result looks great! Though out the process, James kept us informed and made sure we were happy. We highly recommend this company.

The work was done on time and meticulously. The workmen were courteous and even thoughtful in asking our neighbor if they could enter her yard to clean up any debris that fell. The work was done on time and at the price quoted. I could not have been happier with the work.

Had wind damage to roof that insurance was covering. Received three estimates. Estimate was comparable to others but James' responsiveness, follow-through and willingness to work with insurance adjustor made the decision easy for us. Also they installed a good shingle for the price. The crew who performed the work did their job quickly, cleaned up everything and were done right on time. Only issue we had was when ohio exteriors was supposed to meet insurance adjustor. James, the owner, was scheduled to come but had a funeral, so he scheduled another one of his guys to come out. The guy never showed. James ended up taking care of everything with the adjustor, but it was a bit of a hassle.

I am very pleased with both the roofing crews and the siding crews quality of work....my house looks wonderful.

I just called because of a minor roof leak. The first place I called charged $200 just to come out to the house regardless of how minor the repair was. The second place didn't return my call. The third call I made was to Ohio Exteriors and Interiors. He came over, at my convenience, after work (the same day I called) to look at the leak I had. He spent about a half hour fixing the problem and charged me nothing. I would have considered $50-$60 very reasonable, but there was no charge at all. I will definitely call Ohio Exteriors and Interiors for anything regarding a problem with my roof in the future.

James Green had the difficult task of coordinating all meetings and tasks with both the siding vendor and his customers and he was always maintained a professional attitude and demeanor - even during stressful times. He was responsive to all of our inquiries and phone calls and made sure we understood what was happening on the job. He pursued perfection with the siding installers and ensured that small things were fixed - even after final inspection. We would definitely call Ohio Exteriors for a future remodeling job.

Mike first told me via phone that he would be at the house on a friday afternoon. Then called the Thrusday before the apointment to say he was on his way to the house. When he did show up on the correct day, wanted 10 minutes before calling me at work to say my husband wasn't home. My husband truck was in the driveway. Mike didn't use the doorbell, only knocked on the strom door which we can't hear inside the house. Once the walk around the house was done, he asked for the manufacturer information of the vinyl currently on the house. We have no idea and were unable to get that information. Over a week later, I still haven't heard back about the estimate. I guess their business can do without my job.

Every step was smooth. James was very patient with our procrastination. Never pressured. Would wish for so positive an experience with every contractor.

Very pleased with overall performance and results. Well coordinated between 3 different crews, all very capable and skillful workers. An architect-owner's opinion.

Did the work as promised and when promised.

This company was selected because of their ratings on this site. The representative showed up an hour and a half late. He introduced himself as an "adjuster." This confused us. Actually, he seemed somewhat confused himself. He stated that he had a collapsible ladder in his trunk and that he would have a look at the damage. He spent about 15 minutes walking around the outside of our home, looking up at the roof and taking measurements at ground level. Through the window, we then saw him wandering around the yard, looking at the ground. I stepped outside to check on his progress and he told me that he had lost the keys to his car. We searched for his keys for over an hour. Day had turned to night and supper was on hold. He finally called his girlfriend to pick him up. He asked for our address. As he attempted to repeat it, he got it wrong six times in a row. I now feared that she would never be able to find him. She arrived and half an hour later he walked into our house and presented my wife with a "written estimate." When asked, he admitted that he had not actually climbed up onto the roof. That's right... there was no ladder in his car. No matter he said he's a professional and he knows what he's doing. I then literally ran to the counter where my wife was about to sign the estimate. After a very quick read, I discovered that it was a legally binding contract to perform the repairs. Buy this time I was irate. He was handed his unsigned estimate and asked to leave. The following day I called the owner. Somehow, he didn't seem all that surprised. He was very apologetic, stating that he would be out to show us how a real estimate should go. I told him that I had found his representative's car keys and he asked whether I could drop them off at his residence and leave them on his front porch. I complied. I had found them the following morning in the neighbor's yard and was glad to be rid of them. He called my wife and apologized to her as well. He would then fail to call or show up.

The job went very well. Mr. Green was very responsive when I called and completed the inspection in a couple of days, as compared to several weeks that other roofing contractors needed before they could respond. He was very helpful with the insurance company and explained all of the repair options very carefully. He scheduled his crew promptly and installed the new roof on October 13. Many of my neighbors are still waiting for roof repairs from the same storm. Responsiveness was excellent given all the storm damage in the area.

The entire process went extremely well. Did an excellent job; he worked directly with the insurance company, cleaned everything up, and we're extremely pleased.

I was not happy that the tale of hurricane got my home. I did not like the fact that I had to baby sit the Insurance company & mortgage company. Did I forget to mention that I live in Ohio & my mortgage company is in Texas. What a pain. Ohio Exterior & Interior was the best part of this bad experience.

We searched high and low for a reasonable, reliable roofing contractor to repair our garage which had been leaking for over 1 year. We also needed our 15+ year house roof inspected and an honest recommendation on remaining longevity and damage. After having several contractors bid on the project, even accepting 1 bid with the contractor never showing up (good thing we didn't give him a deposit!), we called Ohio Exteriors and Interiors. The owner, James came out promptly and as scheduled. He took his time surveying the garage, as well as the house. Within a few days James provided us a full report and bid of his assessment. Based on his recommendations we replaced both the house and garage roofs and couldn't be happier. Although we have a rather large house with some steeps roofs, the workers were able to complete the job in 1.5 days. They were efficient and speedy and cleaned up the debris before leaving both days.

Their company was comparable to the other estimates that we got, but we did decide to go with someone else who was able to get up on the roof and spotted things that need to be addressed in the contract, rather than spotting things after we agreed to a price. I would recommend their company to anyone, they seem to be a reliable company.

They did arrive on time to the house to do the estimate. They were straightforward and honest. They were very accommodating as far as pricing goes.

The most positive experience was working with James Green. His crew was excellent and they did a great job. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

His response time and sense of urgency on our behalf was great. Just when you think there are no more honest, caring companys any longer, James Green comes along.

He analyzed the situation. We talked about a more expensive solution but he opted for the lesser one. He said try this and if it doesn't work we will come back and do the more expensive one. He was really good. He did a fabulous job.

The process went very well. There was a glitch in the color of the pre-treated siding but that was quickly rectified. The crew was nice and the painter was prompt. I would recommend James without hesitation. No complaints.
