My homeowners insurance covered the cost, but this company was $3,000+ less than ABLE. My deductible was the same regardless, but I felt like the customer service was more personal. I was able to review the different grades/quality of shingles and learn the differences. I always do my own research, but there is always more to be learned from someone in the trade if they will take the time to teach you. My neighbors were impressed with how quickly the task was completed (1.5 days). The workers were like a swarm of bees here to divide and conquer. None of my plants were destroyed from fallen shingles and our grass did not die from hot shingles sitting in the yard for days awaiting use (as I saw at my neighbors house).

I opted for the blown insulation and two employees showed up to do the job, I came home from work to meet them and they were early for the job--already there waiting for me! They were in and out in no time, 20-25 minutes tops. They were very courteous when I met them and knocked on the door to let me know when they finished the task. By the next morning, my hubby and I could tell a difference in the temperature of our closet. We no longer have to lay our clothes out to warm up before we put them on! I am hopeful that our gas bill will be reduced as well.

Very professional and friendly. James or Chris were always available to answer any questions or concerns. I was able to be scheduled to have the work done the very next week. The team did a great job not just replacing the roof, but also cleaning up. They made sure not to damage any plants or flower beds. They worked quickly and did a high quality job.

They were very thorough and honest. They came when they were expected. Their price seemed to be comparable to other companies we looked into. We have not decided yet who we will use.

They arrived, expecting to do about four hours of work. Unfortunately, after removing the siding, they discovered that three layers of beams were ruined by the water damage. They spent the rest of the day tearing out the bad, buying and putting in good wood, and replacing the siding. They returned the next working day to finish the threshhold and the siding. The crew was polite, knew what they were doing, and did a great job. They also cleaned up very well. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I hate to give all "A"s but I truly feel that the service was excellent! I didn't feel pressured which was important to me. I thought the price was good. Each person in the company that I spoke with was very cordial. The roof looks 1000 times better than I imagined which makes my house look better which makes me feel better. The roofers were not only on time but were even 20 minutes early. They did a tremendous job on everything. They even did a great job of cleaning up. I would call Ohio Exteriors and Interiors again in a heartbeat.

I wouldn?t recommend him to anybody. He made the appointment. He came out and looked at the job that was required to be done. Instead of giving me the estimate right then, he told me that he had to get home and figure it out. He told me he would call me in a few days with the estimate. Ten days later, at quarter to eight at night, he called me and told me that the estimate took long because he had to find samples for me to look at. He wanted me to decide from the samples that he had chosen. I already knew what I wanted to use. By that time, I had already decided on using another company for the work because he hadn?t got back to me earlier. Also, he got back to me late at night. He didn?t have the samples in the first place, either. He was totally unprofessional. When he called late that night, I didn?t bother to ask him the price because I thought he was very unreliable. Even if he had quoted a lower price, I wouldn?t have used him. I?ll never use him again.

Their price was pretty good. He was very honest about everything. He mentioned about the wind damage unlike another provider who provided an estimate for us. I had called someone else, but they didn?t let me know they were coming and I wasn?t home. He was here when he said he would be here within a few days after I called him. He was never late, and he was just always there. He was really nice, and I just really appreciated all that he did. They said they will be here on the day they were going to do it at a certain time. I will not use anyone else in the future.

They were very responsive, and the quality of their work was good. I would use them again in the future.

The company did an excellent job. From the initial inspection and estimate, to the final inspection and payment, everything was handled very professionally. There were several ways to handle the flashings, and they carefully outlined the options to me and made a good recommendation based on what would help me the most in the long run. The work was done in a timely manner with all contacts designed to be as convenient for me as possible. When there was a delay because of bad weather, they were very considerat about communicating with me and kept me updated. The work was performed well and the new gutters work beautifully.

They were pleasant in making the initial appointment to visit our house to provide an estimate. They called the day before the estimate to postpone since it was forecast to rain. A couple hours before the next appointment they called to say they needed to be in another part of town at that town and asked to reschedule again. They finally came out the next day, checked things out, and called me. They gave two choices, one which they recommended as a long-term proper repair, but it would cost a service visit. The other option which they actually didn't recommend but seemed to push was a short term "caulk" repair which they would do while he was there for a fraction of the cost. Not sure why they would even offer a fix they talked down, but I was pressed for a decision on the phone. I'm disappointed it took several tries to get them to come out.

They were responsive and came out quickly. Their pricing was reasonable as well. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

James and his people are professionals. My home was unusual, as it's over 100 years old and we really had no idea what we'd find once the job started. James came to my home several times to go over in detail what he saw, what he recommended to be done, and to show us samples of the new shingles we chose. We had a hard time deciding exactly what ventilation system to use, so James came out with a representative of the company who manufactures the ventilation systems so they could go in my attic and come to the correct solution. Once the job was started, some problems cropped up (as we thought they might, with so old a house), and James and his crew worked through them with a minimum impact to the final cost. I had never had a roof replaced before and wasn't aware of what a messy job it is. James' employeed cleaned up after every working day. Throughout the whole process, the communication between us and James and his company was exemplary. We are very happy with the final result.

The crew showed up on Thursday and did the roofing part of the repair. That was the day I learned about the ground bees. The crew that was doing the roofing were not aware of the guttering I also had requested to be done. A quick call to the owner of Ohio Exteriors and Interiors cleared that up and they were able to return on Friday and complete the installation of new gutters on the entire house. I had put some bug killer on the ground bee holes so that problem was not an issue on the second day. The roof now looks great and so does the new guttering.

After reviewing the work schedule they deemed that the repair that would possibly be needed was better suited for someone that they would contract the work out to. Therefore, instead of charging me an additional fee for hiring the other company to do the work they suggested that I contact the other company. In addition, they told me they would contact them as well and let them know what the problem was. They figured this would save me at least 10-15% on my potential bill.

In general there was a communication breakdown from the work that I expected to be done and the work that was actually done. The estimator took down notes, maybe without a full understanding of what I wanted, but definitely without attention to detail. My requests were not fully communicated to a subcontractor who then passed something down to the workers that actually did the job. There was an obvious lack of attention to detail, from reusing materials from the old roof system to leaving the premises filthy when they left. They ended up having to come back and fix things that they thought were ok by their standards to meet my original requests. There were even some issues that I didn't notice until they were finished and paid which I requested be fixed and here I am a month later still waiting. Be prepared, although this company might offer a lower price than some of its competitors, the lack of quality might not be worth it in the end.

The company was very good except the dumpster company was supposed to call the night before they came and they never called. They showed up with a dumpster at 8:00 AM and I had to go out in my pajamas to move my car. The roof shingles showed up the same way on the same day. Then a car came and kept the roofers from working for over an hour. They said it was because my neighbors called with a complaint about the people on my roof. The supervisors took care of the problem, but it was a difficulty I had not expected.

The crew showed up on the scheduled day and stayed late to complete the job.

Overall it went well. The only complaint I have is that we were told they would be out to start the work one day but they never showed. This happened twice. I understand that some jobs take longer than explaced but felt that we should have been notified of the delay in starting our job. Both times I had to call the salesman asking why no one had showed up. Thought this was unprofessional for a salesman not to be more communicative with a client.

This was a very big job on a big house. James helped us with every step from working with our insurance company ( roof was replaced due to storm damage) to helping us choose colors and styles.

The appointment was for an estimate, but after assessing situation it was recommended that new gutters were not needed.

Steve, their sales rep, was very thorough in explaining the whole process. I appreciated his honest, low key approach which was different from some of the companies I talked with. He promised me a work date about two weeks out and the material was delivered on time, but due to bad weather the materials had to sit in my driveway for about three weeks. This was not really a problem for me, but they knocked $200 off the bill for what they considered my inconvenience and that was great. Once they actually started the job, it was done in one day and they did a great job. There was an old TV antenna on the roof when I bought the house in 2000 and the roof was too steep to remove it. As I left to go to work on installation day, I asked one of the workers if he might be able to take the antenna down. He said they would if they had the proper tools. When I got home that evening, the roof looked wonderful and the antenna was gone. And all the mess had been cleaned up. My yard has never been raked that clean before.

We chose them because of the professional presentation by Mike and the quality of the Owens-Corning shingle. They are a preferred installer for Owens-Corning. The crew showed up on time and worked all day. Mike stopped out to make sure everything was going okay. There were only a couple of items to finish the following day -- some flashing on the chimneys and the gutter added. The crew member doing the gutter work had a major car problem on the first day or he would have completed that as well. Once the work was complete, Mike came out to make sure everything was fine and reassure us that if anything came up later to notify him immediately. Overall the job was done to our satisfaction and we would highly recommend them.

I contacted my insurance company and received check for replacement. I called for a few other quotes and Ohio Exteriors and Interiors. James called me back within a few days of my call with a quote. He emailed the quote and information to me. We had a few conversations back and forth and agreed on final contract. James was able to schedule the work within 7 days. The crew arrived on day as promised and performed all services stated in agreement. The work was of excellent quality! I gave a B for responsiveness because when I called into the office, the clerical person was not able to provide information that I felt should have been available. It appeared to be a policy as opposed to an inability situation. This caused some minor delay and more contacts on both sides.

It was great working with James. He was reachable by phone and email. He set up a time to provide an estimate and I received it shortly after. (The estimate was about $2000. less than the other one I received!) I booked them right away and the crew showed up on the date we set. They did both the house and garage roof replacement in one day. According to my tenant in that house, everything was cleaned up. Since I'm out of town, I also had a roof inspection done several days later and even the inspector said the roof was installed well! I am extremely pleased.
