James was very pleasant to work with. The crew was also prompt for the job and professional. The project was completed within a reasonable time frame. We had them complete a few other things on our to do list during the roofing work. We had 1 item left to do that was left undressed but was nothing major. They did send someone back once we made them aware, but it wasn't addressed to our complete satisfaction. We did opted to go with another company for window and siding work that does not have sub contractors, but this should reflect negatively on Ohio Exteriors. They provided wonderful follow up for the roofing project which was much appreciated. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

The roof on my house needed to be replaced, and Ohio Exteriors is one of the companies I called for an estimate. I met with the owner of the company who provided the estimate, and he explained the work that he proposed doing. In addition to the roof, he noticed a hole on one of the boards on the side of my house and offered to replace it as part of the estimate. I also asked him to check the insulation in my attic to see if it was sufficient. I went ahead and paid him a deposit, and he called just a couple of days later to say they would be out the next week to work on the roof. The crew came in the morning, and stayed until near dark that day, then were out early the next day to finish. The work was done well, and the crew kept us informed as to their progress. Their clean-up was sufficient. I am very pleased with the work that was done, but there was no word on whether or not the insulation in the attic was checked. I mentioned this when the owner came back out for the final payment, and he checked the attic at that time. He said the insulation met code, but recommended that more be added and gave a very reasonable quote to do the job. I declined at the time, but I would definitely consider having his company do the work if I want it done. There was an occasion where the owner did not show up, but he was very accommodating to our schedules in getting together for any reason.

Contacted Ohio Exteriors and explained we wanted to make the outside of our 20 year old house as maintance free as possible. The initial estimate exceeded our budget-but James was able to work with us to meet the budget and still provide a quality product and service. The finished product well exceeded our expectations. When we brought the house the porch was what first attracted me-but 20 years of weather on the wood railings was not kind. It now looks like a brand new house. Neighbors and strangers walking their dogs have stopped and complimented us on it. We also appreciated James's assistance and patience in helping us choose colors to coordinate with our existing roof.

Owner James Green promptly and cheerfully responded to my inquiry through Angie's List. Although the initial estimate was revised upwards by $1,500.00, James explained his initial error to my satisfaction and I believe the final price was well within reason. Although my house is in an urban area and tightly spaced with homes on each side, and after I forewarned the neighbors to complain if their properties were disrupted, there were no complaints by the neighbors. The crew of three worked from 8 AM until 9 PM for two days, and as far as I could tell, didn't take a break. After the project was finished, I looked closely for nails in the grass or other debris and couldn't find any. Office manager Chris Dennison promptly responded during business hours, and appears to me to be a valuable asset to the company. Either I completely lucked out and caught all of these people on their good days, or James and his company are really that good.

Although we had to reschedule once and the original estimate was different than the final price, it went well. The guy that did the job was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Overall we were pleased.

This company was very professional and timely. A storm arrived and damaged my roof 1 week before I left the country for 6 weeks. Getting my roof replaced before my trip was very important for my piece of mind and Ohio Exteriors came through. This group was very timely and professional in all aspects. I would reccomend their work to anyone.

We waited longer for James to come for an estimate than the other two companies we contacted. When our appointment day arrived, he called 15 miniutes before our appointment time to say he was running a little late because of a babysitter arriving late but would be there soon. Although his business is fairly close to our home, it was another hour and a half before he appeared at our door. When he went to check the attic, he asked for a flashlight (the others companies had brought their own). He didn't like the flashlight we had available so asked for more light which involved getting a light and extension cords from the garage for him. When he went outside to check the roof, we told him we needed to leave for an appointment very soon. As we were leaving, he came up to the car and asked if we had any batteries in the house as his camera batteries were dying. He told us he would call in a couple of days to set a time to bring his findings to us. When we didn't hear back from him in a week and a half, we went ahead and contacted one of the other providers to go ahead and do the work. He appeared to be very thorough in his inspection and we would have liked to see what his estimates were, but this provider just didn't work out for us.

Ohio Exterior was the first of four companies we had check out the problems (water leaking into the bedroom and kitchen, damaging walls and ceilngs) we had over the winter that actually diagnosed it as an ice dam. We suspected it was, but other companies came in here and claimed we needed a new roof (which is only 6 years old), or new siding (which is also only 6 years old), and one even said there was NOTHING they could do! James worked with our insurance company to get the ball rolling and showed us how to do the repairs outseves to save money. Our only complaint was that after we received the estimate from our insurance company we couldn't get a hold of them for 2 weeks, and called several times! We worried we had to find yet another company, but they finally called, apologized and we got things done. We were very happy with the end result and the stress of the February ice dam is now just all a bad dream.

We had to replace siding on 2 sides of our rental home. Ken was the only one to return my call and actually show up for an estimate. They got right to work and within 1 week they had accomplished what took me a month. While the estimate was a bit higher than my insurance and I did have to press for it, Ken was true to his word in that they would work within the insurance reimbursement. They were happy to adjust the price to stay within the amount the claims adjuster had approved. The house looks great and I highly recommend these guys.

Overall a good experience. Old gutters had started to pull away. Ohio Exteriors came out and pounded them back in and suggested that replacement wasn't needed. We were sprucing out the outside of our house, though, and so opted for the new gutters. Installation was smooth and the new gutters work well. We paid half up-front and half after the job was complete, though it took some work to get calls returned to make the final payment.

They were installed properly to my satisfaction. During the Fall, the covers worked well to keep leaves from the clogging the gutters. They also prevented ice dams from forming in the Winter. We'll have to wait to see how they do in the Spring with the propeller seedlings. I am very satisfied with their services thus far.

Quick response from their repair person, was able to schedule repair next day. I was actually out of town for the day but my parents filled in and I authorized them to negotiate the repair. We were able to haggle a repair cost and they were wiling to work with me as the repair didn't take that long. Most repairs are a $325 minimum but the small size of this repair they were able to do the job for $200. They found that the siding wasn't secured properly and even found another section that was loose as well that I didn't know about. This was from the original install performed by someone else. My parents said they were professional and I would recommend them again.

The work cost me around $10000. They tore off my old roof and installed a new one. They were very good. They came out and replaced my roof. They did a really nice job at the price they had said they would do it. Also, when there was a really bad windstorm, they came out to put tarp on my roof. I didn?t pay them at that time. I think it was included in the price of the roof. Also, I had a lot of companies that had told me that they wouldn?t come out and do the work. I had quotes from several other companies. I can say their price was almost the same as the others. I will use them again in the future.

Did it in a day and a half. They weren't kidding about removing pictures on walls and such, an already loose light fixture (we were replacing it anyway) was knocked down. Only complaint was that they didn't call to have the dumpster removed, but he had a pretty good cold at the time and probably had medicine head.

We were contacted promptly by the owner, James Green. He was courteous and answered all my concerns. Such as: working in the cold and snow-not a problem. He brought several samples of siding and helped coordinate colors and price choices. He also brought pictures of our home and explained what they would change. I called the references he provided and was favorably impressed with the glowing reports. We paid the deposit on Thursday and his team arrived promptly on Tuesday. Even though there was snow on the ground they suited up and surrounded the house with ladders and scaffolding. As it was too cold to stay outside and watch, every time I came out to look at the progress I was treated courteously and respectfully. They took their lunch breaks in a timely manner and were back promptly. They were done by Wednesday, in only two days my home went from pitiful to beautiful! The gray color we chose went really well with the existing white siding and the blue shutters and garage door (which wasn't replaced), looked pretty good with the new trim. They cleaned up so well that only footprints were left in the snow. James came on Thursday for the final inspection and reassured me that they would be back when the weather broke, probably March, to do the caulking. My only concern was that our front porch light didn't work after they left, and a phone call to James brought out the crew first thing that Monday morning and quickly fixed the wire that had gotten loose. We are really pleased, the edges are even and straight and the seams are almost invisible. We can recommend Ohio Exteriors & Interiors for their great siding work.

I wanted them to check the baffling that holds up the insulation and look around and see as I had a water problem this winter. I am looking into other estimates as well. The guy was a nice young guy and seemed to know what he was doing. He seemed typical of a salesman, but I am not sure everything he suggested needs done. I am not sure if I will hire them in the future.

They did a nice job. James was very personable. He helped out a lot. The crew that came out to do the work was nice. There was a lot of mistakes they made. I called James and they were fixed within a week. He was out to check it quite often and to make sure these guys finished the job. He was in touch with us a lot while we were doing this.

Everything went well. They showed up with seven or so people but that was because they sent some people on the roof and there were some supervisors. They were done in a heartbeat. We also asked them to add some downspouts which they did while they were there. They had to come back because they didn?t have enough of the pieces in their truck. As soon as he got the piece, he came right back out. I knew he had to drive a long way just to do that one thing. I thought they did a great job: they were really conscientious and very fast. I thought the price was fair. I had a couple of other people come out and they tried to make it a bigger project than it needed to be. They didn?t try to sell us too much and I appreciated that. It looks great and it doesn?t even look like anything was replaced; the new gutters fit right in.

James & co. were very effective in helping me work out the issues with my insurance claim. They really went the extra mile. Once the claim was in place, the work was done promptly and with great quality.

They gave me a fairly low estimate, but I did not have a great deal of confidence in their work. One of the guys turned to the helper and asked if he would be comfortable on the roof, when the helper replied that he was "maybe" comfortable. I would perhaps contact them for a different type of job in the future.
